The Zarc "tech" has been around in the Dinomorphia "community" - so nothing brand brand new - but still fresh for most... well not like everyone knows what Dinomorphia players are doing atm
On your quest to find new stuff to try in Paleo, you might want to try a version that replaces the Soldier dragons and dragon maids and sols with 8 traptrix monsters - 3 myrmeleo 1 each mantis, arachnocampa, dionaea, vesiculo and pudica - as well as 3 of the normal trap that can summon itself (and I play 3 trap holes) The idea is that sera (3 of in the extra) acts as a soldier dragon by giving you access to advantage of your paleos can't summon, but the monster pool acts as a sort of toolbox to play with - you have access to trap protection, back row removal, monster removal and resource recovery, and the trap hole that summons offers additional recovery on the following turns. (The first deck I ever played was traptrix, so naturally, when Paleo had a bit of a revival here I tried it out, and it works well)
I guess konami could support this deck with paleo traps based on some spells. Thinking about soultaker, pot of duality, or even an e teleport for paleos, however that should make the summon not immune to monster effects
It's not in MD yet and is unfortunately an INFO card so it's probably not coming anytime soon. If you want a second Soldier Dragon target then a second Laundry is probably good enough, although if you want some funny options then Ringowurm is solid but requires some synchros in the extra deck to get real value out of, and Triggering Wurm (yes that is the full name) is also pretty good provided you specifically run a Dark Link monster that points down, so sadly S:P doesn't work with it but I:P does
Whenever time rules are brought up, people complain how bad they are but please bear in mind the reality of tournaments and what we had before. Naturally, a round cannot go on for arbitrarily long; events are staged on a schedule. The time rules we had before the current ones were too lenient, letting you play out three more turns or so. This lead to one event (during a Dragon Ruler format, I think) going past midnight. The criterion of having more LP may be debatable but which such win condition couldn't be cheesed? Time rules are an economic inevitability; there will always be such a factor that will decide games even though it's theoretically, if you look at YGO in a vacuum, not part of the game. In practice, it _is_ part of the game.
I see your point, but for locals/smaller tournaments it is less impactful. Meanwhile the downside is that game 3 (or even 2) comes down to a time minigame and has nothing to do with actually playing yu-gi-oh. It's just "who can access their time card and create the biggest LP gap. It also creates winners that should not have won. Imagine drawing for turn, needing only to go to battle phase to attack for game, but no, time is up. And then your opponent just wins because they hit you for 400 damage last turn on a weaker monster. That feels bad, it's not fair and hurts the integrity of the game. So I did what I had to and sided 10 cards for time. Yes, we needed to solve the problem for large tournaments, no, the current rules aren't good for the game.
@@11wildy63 Oh, are you Rob Janssen? Well, I don't see the problem with locals and the like playing under slightly different rules than larger events (or not so slightly; but that's another topic). Though, isn't the game played at _official_ events kind of by definition YGO (or at least a valid variant of that)? You say that the player who took just a bit too long to go to battle shouldn't have lost but is it not also a competitive quality how much time you need to make good plays? How different is winning due to an LP difference of 400 due to one attack over a weaker monster, compared to dealing lethal damage against a full board because there was such an opportunity? In the latter case, surely you agree that the player who lost is at fault for leaving too weak a monster in attack position (or his opponent is to applaud for summoning a strong enough monster in spite of the game state clearly not being in their favour); don't you?
I'm still just like 2 mins into the video but I'm worried no one will notice that Rob (from the video) is literally in chat. Edit: it was figured out lmao
Paleozoic community LOL Why i imagining a bunch of paleontologist and archeologist gathering in one place, talking about fossil foundings instead of Yu-Gi-Oh 😂
Ooooh my gosh I just came home drunk and saw this video. Just listening to the music I don't actually care what the play is, I am just here for it. This is just amazing.
@dantesparda4610 Pretty much exactly how you feel about Runick. People dislike defensive decks that make it hard for them to interact properly, more than they dislike offensive decks that make it impossible for them to interact at all.
@@fortidogi8620 there's a huge difference between trap card and QuickPlay spell tho. Plus paleo not having stupid stuff like banishing my top deck is good enough for me.

Josh has been too busy playing meta this week to get our paleo fix, we all needed this.
Hi fellow paleo enjoyers

“We start off with 3 copies of soldier dragon”
Based individual “lets go”
You can also play Z-arcray in Centurion; I do on MD.
BTW Gotta update the description for ya vids. They still say October
If grass wasnt so expensive i woulf also be playing it in my paleo deck
It's reprinted in bonanza, so there will be cheap copies somewhere
its 20 cent
not rlly a hidden community. but within belgian/netherlands community we know that Rob and Youri are big paleo enjoyers

Interesting to see the draw power he goes for. I personally like the tenyi field spell
Moving forward I'd replace 2 Balance with 1 Hope for Escape and 1 Grass after reprint. Hope > Balance because Z-Arc trap also makes it live.
Eindhoven Regional mentioned~!
2 backjack is criminal
Please a video with the zarc tech paleos too
I NEED MY WEEKLY 10 HOUR PALEO GAMEPLAY AGAIN
I’m dutch and love to play Paleo in MD too
This videos almost as long as a Paleo game. Good deck, we need more ancient lad cards.

Does master duel have the pendulum card that bounces cards? If not, what is a good replacement?
Probably just play more traps

You can play one of the level 2 Vaylantz pendulums as extender if you want to.
Omg, can't they just bring Vulmina to MD already? Also, here I go spending all my UR dust on Paleo tech again 🤣

New morganite card also lets you put cards back into deck and search morganite plus double attack and battle damage.

@11wildy63 if you activate it and then flip it face down before the chain resolves, it will do so negated.
