When is the more popular time to see the northern lights. I heard March. Is that true? I may go to a trip there and I think it’d be sooo cool to see the northern lights
My mother came to tears the first time she saw Alaska & its beauty. Then I saw it - it's truly an amazing reminder of the beauty God has made for our enjoyment & protection. This was such a dedicated job of riding, filming and editing! Thank you for this wonderful window to this snowcapped world of Alaska mountains. Inspired me to train even harder so I can continue to ride even longer. Thank you!! Ride On
@@JohnathanBuckhouse You are most welcome. Your dedication to your wife & children is so beautiful & heartfelt & inspirational. Never forget this blessing. I & my siblings didn’t have this fatherly dedication, only pain. But we did well with God & our blessed Mother. And, your work ethic is admirable in today’s world. My Mother was my sweetest gift & my true inspiration, God rest her soul. She is who I think of at the top of every mountain I stand on. Mom & her Sister visited every continent in the world before they went home as it was Mom’s dream & passion. My daughter & I set out 24 yrs ago to follow her passion & ski, snowboard or slide on our butts if we have to - in every continent…we’ve done the 6/7 & pray we can continue in Antarctica. You & your family live your life like it’s golden. JB, you give Team Huckhouse wings! Be Safe & Ride On!
This video is SICK! We watch your channel everyday for a couple years now and I think this is your best footage! Nice filming by everyone! We booked our trip to this mountain for next year already! Can’t wait!!!
Oh shit, you came to my stomping grounds! Been riding there since i was 3....now 35. The "fat hit" gets way way larger and its called picknic rock. On a nice day it gets sent to the backside almost flat. Glad you guys enjoyed Alyeska
The only resort I can say gives Alyeska a run for its money in terms of views, scenery, and mountain aesthetic is Whistler Blackcomb. That resort is just gorgeous and even the mountain itself is just spectacular!
This place has some of the best terrain I've boarded and the price was surprisingly cheap. I only paid 75 bucks for a weekday ticket, and if you stay in their hotel the night before, it's an extra 20% off!
I was just there in July vacationing from Texas, it was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely coming back with my brother in the winter with our snowboards in hand
Wow cool to see I had no idea you were up here. I haven’t snowboarded in 3 years, (would go every weekend before that) but content creators like you inspired me to grab a season pass this year and get back out there
I’m a gray on tray and don’t ride near as hard as you and your gang, but I’ve been to Alyeska and was impressed with its beauty. Also got to see the start of the Iditarod on the same trip. Then I got to go on a trip to Switzerland to Zermatt with the Matterhorn in your view all day and the area is massive. Plus you can ride on your board from Switzerland into Italy which is mind blowing. Someday I hope you get there with your gang or your family.
I'm moving to Anchorage next Summer. I look forward to visiting this resort. I checked your resort map and saw there wasn't a rating for this resort. I'm curious how you'd rate it because the experience looked surreal.
It's not the best mountain or anywhere near the largest but the views are amazing and girdwood is the best ski town. The town predates the resort so it's not all touristy. Lots of independent businesses that are priced with the local market instead of a resort monopoly.
I grew up and learned at Alyeska and then moved to Colorado. Not only does Aly have really shitty weather, it doesn’t have much for runs and the power gets blown out instantly. Maybe on a late spring day you could get a sunny conditions and not get hypothermia. I feel bad for the people hat drop serious coin to fly up here just for a few tracked out runs in he fog and -5 temps 👎 👎
What are those goggles I mean there cool but don’t look good with your outfit Also big big fan and you have inspired me to snowboard and love you live streams and videos keep it up

Skiing Alyeska at night with the northern lights glistening across the water is a surreal experience
No way! I need to do that
When is the more popular time to see the northern lights. I heard March. Is that true? I may go to a trip there and I think it’d be sooo cool to see the northern lights
No way, have you done that? I was there earlier this year, and I saw the northern lights. Not while snowboarding, though😂
@@JohnathanBuckhouseyou should come back and hit northface

I went last June and it puts Colorado to shame, everywhere looks like it’s from a painting! The only downside is how far away everything is there.
Yes ❤ 🙏🏾 🙌🏾

Most definitely one of the best resorts in the world!
Top 5 for sure
@@JohnathanBuckhouse you should definitely come back so my friends and I can make fun of how bad at snowboarding you are 🤣
The Ski Doc could have a professional career as a filmer. That snake run footage wasn't easy to catch and he did it pretty much perfectly.
100%
Going in February for the first time. Such a great video made me smile the whole time. You guys are my kind of people. Remarkable footage, pro level.
Thank you! You will have a blast
I agree, Ski Doc & Cody Rocks the editing! I was like getting dizzy following the snake turns!! Wheeeeeeeee!

The thumbnail is soo sick. It looks like something out of steep or shredders.
YeAh lol 😂 it is the prettiest in the world
Can be scary sometimes but it’s beautiful
😂
I couldn’t find those pink/coral sunglasses in your description. What kind? Love them!
I was looking for them too!! They’re so 🔥🔥
Colorado will always be my home but Alaska has been calling my name.
I grew up in Alaska but, never got to board here sadly. I will be back 😅
Do it!
Safe Journeys on your trip
Everybody that going to summer camp _ respect

This snake run is insane!
Right 🤯 So long
god that place looks like literal heaven
Right!!
Definitely terrain best suited to blue bird days as you had. Flat light cloudy could be tough.
Yup AK vibes, city lights, Anchorage has some stuff
Kenny racing the chairlift is hilarious
Right 🤣😂
fam owned a house there in Girdwood, miss that resort SOO MUCH :/
That’s sick!
Hey my neck of the woods!! This is where I learned to shred.
That’s so sick! This place is sick
I want to ski this place so bad... next season I'm doing it.
Love your videos bro
Ski Doc killed the snake run. I need to try one of those.

If your in Alaska aney time love the videos
Did you guys ride the tram and the north face at all? It's super steep, and the snow stayed pretty soft and fluffy over there
Yeah we did the day prior 🤙🏼

Prettiest ski resort in Alaska-maybe, in the world-no way.
I cannot wait to see more!

Next goal after visiting every resort… Take your kids to ride every resort in America.
Im 12 years old!
So sick!
I’m disappointed! Just booked and realized there’s no woods!
Nah man, I don't want to buy Darwin stickers.
I get it 🤘🏼
