Matts right about Gakpo
Gakpo was class at PSV and he has shown consistency but being thrown on by Klopp in different positions, it just shows that the instructions he was given was bad. The first 6 months he was here he was so good. Then last season he hardly played but in the minutes he had his g/a is effective.
Patients guys but I'd be surprised if we get more than one addition this window. Expecting 3/4 signings is insane lol

I couldn't agree more that Liverpool only really need 3 outfield signings. LCB, DM and FW (probably RW to allow Salah to play centrally). Honestly we're pretty covered. Anything beyond that is a bonus imo but it's imperative it's those 3 positions.
maybe a third choice finisher who can finish but the club did say Carvalho, Morton and Sepp will be given pre season.
We need a left back .Central defenders. DM .Right wing.

Players could be completely different under a new manager… (better or worst) need some games to see where they are.

Gakpo and Gordon are miles better than Diaz. The longer Diaz starts or stays the more we will not win anything. Diaz lost us the league with his lack of contributions. The worst forward we have who somehow got the most minutes with the least contributions.
Diaz was far better than Nunez and Salah in the run in
@@curtisjackson2478 All Diaz did was fancy dribbles he couldn't create for Nunez and Salah at all, The chances Diaz missed vs City cost us our entire momentum in the league. If we beat City there the entire teams confidence sky rockets rather than plummets.
@@curtisjackson2478honestly Nunez was better overall I think it Nunez got to play more on the wing and got those Diaz chances he would have packed more of those in

We’ve never had a young striker prospect. I’m excited for Jayden danns I think he should be 3rd choice striker but we need to be the ones to make him improve

It would make more sense for the manager to want to assess the players because even though he's seen the players training, he still hasn't seen them implementing HIS system... Some players that might have struggled before might adapt to his game like a fish out of water.. Some who looked great might struggle under him. It's not as straight forward as we might want it to be

@@eldio2124 it's not excuses. Everyone has a different approach. Some are thoughtful and methodical, while others are more nimble in their approach. It doesn't mean either of them are wrong. Failure is the only thing that will mean your decision was wrong.

Kopish big up stil but if u guys and any other lfc fan are already panicking about signings is a bit ridiculous to me tbh the euros and copa is currently ongoing slot hasnt even had a first team training session yet with the full squad plus the transfer window just opened and u guys are expecting signings already seriously?
What club has actually signed any players so far btw every club is quiet right now.
Play Gakpo left Jota as the striker and Salah right wing, then sell Diaz and use the money to bring in two young wingers like Summerville or Soule to transition, Ait Nouri at left back to be competitive with Robertson and sell Tsimikas, then bring a goalkeeper on a free like Rui Patricio. Ederson as the Dm and loan out Stefan to a prem club. Murillo as the left sided centre back.
We treat our players as if they're bums like the likes of Fabio Borini, Ricky Lambert etc... 😂😂😂 those were just terrible times to support Liverpool🤣🤣🤣🤣 yet we were there so
Big up guys but we can’t be expecting to win the league anyway this season it’s the managers first season and we are up against 2 quality teams who have played together for years. 3rd or 4th would be realistic expectations
This squad finished third. Why can't we expect it to improve if we make the right signings? The manager is similar to klopp and was signed for that reason too

I think it would be highly irresponsible of us to not get a new center back and right winger, especially the center back. I don't want to endure another season where we only have three senior center backs, and Mo can't be our only right winger from now on. Not getting a new DM would also be really risky, but I can see the promise of Bajcetic and Morton. Get a new center back, get Kudus and loan out Doak. I'd even be happy with a cheeky bid for Ivan Toney due to Jota's injury record and Nunez's inconsistency. I do rate Danns, but if Jota is injured and Nunez is poor in front of goal again, is he really the guy to spearhead our attack against top teams and over a consistent period of time? It would be risky.

@callumsanderson I thought you said that once Klopp goes we will know whether the lack of investment was Klopp or FSG having a lack of ambition. Slot signed 13 players in his first season at Feyenoord, so it’s clear he isn’t afraid to change the team immediately, history indicates that he doesn’t wait to see, if he doesn’t sign decent players now it’s clear it’s an FSG issue and not the manager. FSGs history actually indicates that they are tight arses, how much more evidence do we need?
Slot buy 13 players at feyenoord is completely different to him coming into LFC it's a ridiculous comparison tbh LFC currently have a top squad the LFC squad doesn't need a overall slot also hasn't had a first team training session yet. Slot signed to manage feyenoord in December 2020 but actually started the job in summer 2021 that year feyenoord finished 5th he was tasked with rebuilding the club and had 6 months to access the squad. Slot coming into LFC is a completely different situation
@@SG__14your missing the point mate, it’s moreso that Slot is not afraid to change things up if needed, and our team doesn’t need 13 players but it needs at least 4,LB, DM, LCB, RW. It’s more about Slots mentality and that he’s willing to make change if needed, he’s different to Klopp.
Quite simply we cannot as LFc. Say that we need to wait til Slott trains with the players. He would have been in consultation with Hughes / Edwards about some serious key positions that may have solutions in the market available ahead of pre season training... Its naive to think that waits for Slott to start training it's unprofessional.

Liverpool really get under my skin, we move far too slow in everything.
We need to sort out the contracts for TAA, VVD and Salah we have the back room staff in so why are they not signing them up, we have money; so we need to sort that out urgently.
Signing players surely we know what position needs improvement ie CB, DM and right winger what are we waiting on with Calafury… if we don’t want to go into a bidding war we need to much quicker we move like a small club
They're not slow at all, more often than not when they identify a player they want its all done pretty quickly, I'm sure contracts are being sorted and talks will begin with the likes of Trent, Virgil & Salah when they return for pre season.
Liverpool don't leak info to the media about transfers but rest assured there will be work getting done, re: Calafiori as a Liverpool fan you should know we have a terrible track record with Italian players so I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole

Of course, it’s concerning for us fans who want to see our club win trophies. Unlike some of you who think Diaz and Nunez need more chances, and Matt who thinks Anthony Gordon isn’t an upgrade to Diaz-seriously, Matt? 😂. Some of you should support the Liverpool Friendship Society instead of the Football Club since you believe in giving chance after chance, even if it means not winning trophies. Klopp said he's at LFC to make friends and he did make loads more then trophies he won btw, he probably had a book club as well 🤣. I support LFC, not the players or the manager!

Nah something wrong with these Lyon players. There is a generation of Lyon players that stink and idk why. Look at Lacazette, Ghazelle, Aouar and Fekir. Forget about Cherki. He's someone I wouldn't mind missing out on him.
