In this video I show you the world's blackest art material available vs the world's brightest flashlight (or one of them)! I show you how dark Black 2.0 actually is and then show you how bright my 32,000 lumen flashlight is! Then I shine it on the black to see if I can get any reflection. Then I see how much the temperature increases due to mostly visible light shining on it.

Explain why you think the paint would change that effect whatsoever.
The black paint can help to absorb some of the lights from the very Bring 32000 lumen flashlight. If you use a regular cardboard without the black paint then some of the light can be absorbed through by the cardboard and some light can pass through the cardboard. Granted you can use other materials but other materials that are not very very dark or black will still absorb or even reflect the light back. That's why I suggested painting the bat symbol black first so that it can look as crisp as possible. That's my theory at least. Did that answer your question?

That's so weird. Made me realize why I always picture a blackhole as a 2D circle. The funny thing is is that you actually see everything this way. The color in itself is what gives the appearance of depth.

lazyperfectionist1 depends, what is the pressure what time of day and how hot is the ice cube initially? Lots of variables.
Well of course 32000 lumens wins vs 99.965% absorption (0.035 % reflectivity). Just do a little napkin math: 32000 * 0.035 = 11.2. So the vantablock will reflect 11.2 lumens of light with this flashlight, which is easily visible. (Calculations approximate since lumens is weighted by human eye sensitivity).

What would happen if u paint a room (floor and ceiling) with this and then turn on the light? Would you be able to see or would the black absorb the light
You'd see any light that directly struck your eye. You'd also be able to see the ~5% of light that this stuff reflects, but you'd need a bright light source like the video demonstrated to actually be able to perceive shadows properly so you might bump into things or feel slightly dizzy until you got adjusted to it.
You can still see. I painted a room at my client's office floor to ceiling, door and everything with PPG's blackest paint "almost as dark as vantablack" and I could still coordinate it with just a small work light

Ok but to be fair even Vantablack would have been illuminated visibly by these 32.000 lumens.
Vantablack absorbs 99,65% of all light (I hope I remember that correctly). But that means it still reflects 0,35%. 1% of 32000 lumens is 320 lumens and 320x0,35 = 112. So this area of paint - even if it was Vantablack - would reflect 112 lumens which is still a lot.
