@@michaelsarianmusic It belonged to my grandfathers great uncle Harris G Sanborn who played it in John Philip Sousa's marching band between 1929 and 1932. He gave it to my grandfather, who used to jam with the Dorsey brothers, who gave it to my mother, who also played in HS. She gave it to me. It was made in Elkhart, Indiana in 1929 by CG Conn and is a “Vocabell” 40b and has beautiful engravings on the rimless bell. Its mint in an aligator case. I’ll email you a picture I have on my computer. I’m in NY on a show at the moment.
