Time-lapse has become popular with the growth of digital cameras. This technique can be very time-consuming, so why do some people dedicate their career to shooting time-lapses? And can this technique help you to tell stories in filmmaking? Let’s see in this video!
In this video we talk with Morten Rustad, a professional time-lapse photographer which spent a year in South America to capture the incredible landscapes there. We talk about his fascination for time-lapse, 8K resolutions and motion controlled gear. See his South America time-lapse here: • SOUTH AMERICA 8K

Its so inspirational. When i first saw a time lapse sequences on the discovery channel it blew my mind. In todays youtube there are a lot of clowns, bloggers, who dont know even the basics, but trying to teach and be interesting in order to get views, such videos as yours is a gold on a garbage. Thanks a lot guys

Really clever and creative ideas and very inspiring. Also, epic piece of sensor dust on the window shot...thanks Sony Alpha cameras and their horrendous dust-magnet sensor technology. That comment is not meant as a critique of your work, just an observation...Sony needs to follow the Canon EOS-R and put in a sensor cover. I never shoot my a7Sii higher than 5.6, because I can never guarantee there won't be dust on the sensor. Sorry, rant.

@@LordArioh I do work professionally and I do shoot with professional cinema cameras like Arri, Red, C200, etc. It's a simple slider, a bit expensive for what it is.
Considered the Dana Dolly but I also use small DSLR like cameras for small projects too, and thats an overkill slider. Send like this the Syrp may be the best option. But that Pan/Tilt head seems like it may not hold those larger cinema cameras
