You literally cannot touch him in a fight and he'd be able to teleport you or anything into the kamui dimension. The only reason people sleep on how strong it is, is because we've never seen both in action at the same time except for 1 moment which is when Kakashi used both during the fight with kaguya. Kakashi's susanoo with kamui shuriken is one of the most broken things in the series, what it can do is completely ridiculous. Not even kaguya could do anything about it.

So I’m assuming left eye Kamui is for distance and right eye Kamui is for self. That’s why Obito is able to let attacks go through him and transport people and himself while Kakashi just transports other things
