Of all the games #BarrySanders played throughout his career with the #DetroitLions, this game against the #MinnesotaVikings in @ the #HubertHHumphreyMetrodome in Minneapolis, MN., was by far his best game. All in all, the 1991 NFL Season was the best season for the Detroit Lions under head coach, #WayneFontes. Entering this game, not only was the Detroit Lions making a push to make the NFL Playoffs, the team played with a heavy heart after losing #MikeUtley to a career ending spinal cord injury. If only the Detroit Lions’ teams of today could play with the same heart for every game, for every season.
It's quite simply a damn shame why Barry chose to retire in his prime. Was it because of the Lions? Was it because Barry had a soft spot for Walter Payton? Quite frankly I'll never know. And of course this is coming from a Bears fan.

Is it possible to post the December 1994 game against the vikings. barry had possibly the best run ever in that game it was a 9 yard run where he made 10 people miss
Even though they were a gulf below the level of the Redskins that season, the '91 Lions were definitely the best team they put on the field since the Ford family took them over.
