If theres japanese in the crowd the holyspirit will have you to suddenly speak in japanese without any formal training. @@johnyang1420 I think you need to study the history of the Catholic church. Jesus didn't start it. Constantine claimed conversion years after Jesus had returned to heaven and all his original followers were dead. He changed God's Sabbath to Sunday, and brought in a lot of pagan teachings into the church and killed anyone who opposed it. That right there is Satan's methods not God's. You need to listen very carefully to what Pastor Doug is teaching and choose truth rather than the lies that the church of Rome teaches.

Totally off topic but when I was watching Queen Elizabeth's funeral I noticed something that can only be concerning if true. I'm sure you've all heard the phrase " hiding in plain sight" The red and gold flag draped over her coffin had 3 dragons side by side with curled tails that, in my opinion, looked like 666. I have a few words of encouragement in the midst of what's going on. It might sound wierd, but it is for real and I thought that it would be important to say it. Its long because I've tried to and any faqs! Hopefully this will answer some of those nagging questions - Why can't evil be forgiven and let off, how is the whole "Jesus dying" thing really relevant to anything? To you? if you still have any questions let me know x Do you ever struggle? Or doubt that God Loves You After what you've done? Do you wonder if He even exists for that matter? Read this: Every one of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count as stealing), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing and detestable thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human! You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23 What is that "glory", morally speaking? Well, the opposite of human nature and desires. Not lying, not stealing, and having a perfect thought life is God's standard for us. But if its God's standard and we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it? Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, but after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in perfect harmony with God's morals, standard, and love. So while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged. To the point where we are "opposed" to God, hence His nature and standards being the opposite of what we see as reasonable or possible. The Bible even makes it clear that "apart from God you can do nothing" - John 15:5. Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite", unreasonable and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things. Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it? The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would attack that judge and call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil. This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever. Hence Hell. "The soul that sins shall die (in Hell and suffer damnation)" - Ezekiel 18:20 But God, who is also love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death, even though we broke the law and deserve to bear the guilt, pain and be cut off from perfection forever through damnation. Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin. God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us). God allowed Him to take the pain we deserved, He took ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely as if He was the picture of mankind's sin itself so that we do not have to be punished. Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf). So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared and free because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH. "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (immortally and eternally in Heaven when I return)" - John 11:25,26 ALL we have to do is accept it by faith. Faith alone in Christ alone. Religion = rules to be saved The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong it time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He knows you even better than that. He created you and knows you inside out. ...WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? What does it actually mean for us? It means we can be completely free from the penalty of damnation. Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. Just remember that. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life. What does this new way of life entail? It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39. Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose. Sound "opposite" again? God knows it sounds opposite, which is why, as The Bible states, this is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature. We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God) Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the Holy Spirit, sent by Him to us after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts of love and truth and conviction, verses, ideas, prayers and He guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him. "With man it is impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!" - Matthew 19:26 What is the way FOR though? Firstly its to save you from sin - the only way to gain victory over sin and not have it as your master is through having Christ as your master and following His aid to resist the devil's temptations. Christ lived down here for 33 years suffering EVERY FORM of temptation that you have ever faced - "who in every respect [has] been tempted as we are, yet without sin" Hebrews 4:15. Therefore He is able to help us through our struggles. When the devil knows people have left his camp, he always tries harder with more temptations and evil attacks. BUT - His way is also there to guard and teach you daily in the midst of this (and despite this) sinful, selfish world. The path He wants you to walk is a path of committment and love - its not about rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did GAVE us salvation. All we need is faith. The rest, the "fruits of good works (the will to obey and follow Him)", are what come through true, maturing faith. It's all about faith and the relationship God wants with you just like before sin arrived. God preferred His own Son to be tortured And *killed* to give a chance to us (who broke His law of perfection) so that we can live as His children again. He wants us to love and trust and worship Him. What if I still find myself sinning after I have accepted Christ? That's why Christ died, For our sin. His death doesn't fix us in a snap like that, but it does protect us from the damnation that our past, present and future sins would bring without Jesus. It's a process - a lifelong process - of God bringing you back to Him, away from the destructive pleasures of sin (greed, selfish temptations, trampling on people to gain). This process takes a *lifetime*, as it does for all, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin you committed already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame. Regardless of the darkness you are in or the extent or frequency of the sins you have committed or will commit, regardless of how doubtful you may feel, know that Jesus UNDERSTANDS completely and He is faithful. "those who come to Me, I will by no means cast out" - John 6:37 ...HOW DO I LEARN MORE? Don't know where to start? Note down the Gospel of "John", or "Luke" (if you want a more detailed account of it all). Remember that He will "NEVER - and that means never - leave you, NOR forsake you" - Deuteronomy 31:6 Regardless of what goes on down here, God knows, Jesus has been down here and felt all the emotions you are feeling. You can go to Him with them and be assured that He loves you and is for you. Even in the storm, God is still there, walking on the water alongside you! Keep your heart open to Him and remember that if we pray for Christ to enter our lives, He will. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life". - John 3:16 Thanks for reading if you did. We should all understand this, If we are to understand this FINAL BEAST system we need to look at ALL the identifiers first, not just pick one out of a barrel that fits our own story line! We also need to understand that there has been many "Beast" throughout history and there has been many "antichrists" as well but only ONE will fit what the bible warns us about! Next, we should be asking ourselves, 'do all of these kingdoms fit into each of these categories'? Yes, to an extent, depending on who's telling the story (Church/Pastor) and w/o adding their own ideology to it! But, when you combine the totality of what Christ is telling us, nothing should be missing, otherwise we have just added our own theology to this puzzle! Everything has to fit and ALL the pieces of this Beast Power has to create a perfect picture for we to understand! For this reason it is not only important to read the text but it is also important (probably more so) to look into history of each of these Nations to try to figure out what God is really telling us. So, what nations persecuted Gods people from the beginning? These Nations specifically are Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo/Persia and Greece. Of course Rome was responsible for Christian Persecution however, It is of extreme exaggeration when many wish to describe the first 300 years of the Church as an underground organization, "constantly under persecution by a Hostile and Anti-Christian Roman State", because history tells us otherwise! Although there were periods of terrible persecution against Christians, there were also long periods of time where the State and Christianity converged that eventually climaxed into Constantine's Edict of Milan (An agreement in AD 313 to treat Christians benevolently within the Roman Empire) The dream of Nebuchanezzar and the interpretation provided by Daniel and his Prophecies is that he was PRIMARILY looking forward to the First coming of Christ and the Kingdoms that brought about this event. Daniel Chapters 2, 7, 8, 11 and 12 predicted the Historical settings leading up to Christ, as well as the Date in Chapter 9. (If I may jump ahead a bit, the Greek Empire is described in exact detail for the reason that it preceded the "Kingdom of Heaven"). If we look at history, Christ was born around 6BC. The Greek Empire was finally destroyed in 27BC, when Egypt was made a Roman Province. The destruction of the Greek Empire was the FIRST STEP in setting up the "Kingdom of Heaven"; this being the time of Antiochus Epiphanes. His death set into motion this process! Daniel 11:2 explains the FIRST FOUR Kings of Persia, from Cyprus to Xerxes. Daniel 7 and 11 provides a detailed description of the Greek Empire from Alexander to Antiochus Epiphanes. So what am I saying? The last two chapters of Daniel 11, showing the failed campaign of Crassus against the Parthians are extremely important for two reasons: (1) they show that the 4th Kingdom was NOT the Roman Empire and (2) it shows without a doubt, that Daniel 7:12 was fulfilled! The 4th Kingdom (as we have been taught) was NOT the Roman Empire because the Roman Armies were NOT ALL POWERFUL and UNDEFEATABLE at that time! Rome was badly defeated when still growing as a power. Next, the Romans did not by any means TREAD DOWN "The Whole Earth" as is the requirement explained in Daniel! It was the PARTHIANS who ruled over the landmasses of Babylon, Medo/Persia and the Greek Empires! Rome was an Empire of the West and Palestine was at its Eastern border. So, all the landmass immediately to the East of Palestine was outside of the Roman Empire. This explains how Daniel 7:12 was fulfilled! Because of Rome's failed actions against the Parthian, Babylonian, Median, and Persian Empires - ALL these Nations remained outside of the Roman Empire and control! Although their dominion was removed, they were independent of Rome itself! SIDE NOTE: Remember, people! When the bible speaks of "Seven Heads and Ten Horns" God is speaking SPECIFICALLY of NATIONS! Hills have never been described as "NATIONS"...so to say that because Rome 'sits on seven hills' (which it actually does not but aside from seven hills) we CANNOT use this analogy because we are looking for "SEVEN NATIONS"! BLASPHEMY: Revelation 17:3; "So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness (desert): and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." How Doug Batchelor pulls Rome out of this I will never know but allow me to show you what true meaning this has in particular! According to Doug Batchelor we are looking for anything that Identifies scarlet colors and purple and straight away, he targets the Catholic Bishops and Priests who happen to wear these very colors...but wait a minute! Are we not looking for something more sinister than that? Something that shows diabolical hatred to God, sinister in every way and a scourge to Christianity? Of course we are and it is not going to be found in clothing! This description resembles the near copulating with the Kaaba Stone in Mecca (ISLAM), which historically was DEDICATED to Aphrodite the Prostitute goddess that was called "Aphrodite Porne" (Aphrodite the Prostitute), "the goddess adorned in purple" very similar to the depictions given in Revelation 17:4. So explain to me why NO PASTOR in the Adventist Church mentions ISLAM? We are looking for truth, right? So should not this be part of our lessons? The "Mother of Harlots", of which ruled the kings of the earth from ancient times until today is the TRANSVESTITE DIETY ALLAH, whose worship covers the entire region of the Middle East, then, until today! So when Muslims walk around the Kaaba (black stone) it is a perfect example to the worship of Ishtar, who the people called Athtar and Allat. Your comment is very interesting to say the least, here is what I said, to him about bashing the gift of tongues, "Doug, the Lord rebuke you, 1 Corinthian 14: 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church"...Listen carefully, I care not if you speak with tongues or not, but tongues are a gift given by the Holy Spirt himself. Beware lest you be found to be speaking out against God's word. You are teaching a false doctrine when you say ALL unknown tongues are not of God, the Lord rebuke you. We do know that some people pretend to have receive the gift but truly do not have the Holy Spirit in what they say or do. Yes. The beast of Revelation 13 represents the papal power in its kingdom (church/state union) form in the dark ages (538ad - 1798ad). The harlot in Revelation 18 is the papacy but specifically the church or ecclesiastical power of the papacy, but if you notice that harlot woman is riding the same beast of revelation 13. Implying the church will regaining her power to controlling the state (kingdom) again in the final days before Jesus comes.

It fairly plain to see that it's the exact same power being shown. Even the name of blasphemy and the heads show that is is the same power. Hope that helps. Also in chapter 13, the beast starts out as pagan Rome which did not have the church on top (no catholic church in pagan Rome) so that is probably the biggest reason. The transition from pagan to papal Rome is depicted in verse 2 when the dragon gives him his seat and power. That's when the switch happens but before that there is no woman to ride it so she is not present in that chapter. In chapter 17 these are events of the final days on earth and the church is already present. So she can be seen visibly riding (controlling) the beast (state) .

The Lord promises everyone the gift of the Holy Ghost as stated in Acts 2:39. When you receive the Spirit of God you must speak in tongues as the Spirit gives you the utterance, Acts 2: 1-4. Your neighbor may not be able to tell if you are filled with the Spirit solely by observing the fruits of the Spirit in you because they may not be able to see your longsuffering, peace, joy etc as these are abstract things. I can't believe that this prominent pastor doesn't know this. It's when you start to walk in the Spirit i.e you must give up your own will and surrender fully to God that you wlll start to bear these fruits.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. 1 Cor 12:38-41
Satan can also do miracle's and wonders . Example: exodus 4:1-17. That's the reason you must look at a person's fruit/action because they reflect what spirit a person has That's why Jesus said look at they fruit. Matthew 7:15-20. Hope it helps you.

Well, Moses told God in OT that he’s not eloquent, then God told him to take Aaron his brother as his spokesman, so that aaron would be a prophet to him as Moses would be God to aaron, and knowing that God is who he was and who he will be , never changing, why didn’t God just gave Moses that gift? I have a few words of encouragement in the midst of what's going on. It might sound wierd, but it is for real and I thought that it would be important to say it.
Its long because I've tried to and any faqs!

Do you ever struggle? Or doubt that God Loves You After what you've done? Do you wonder if He even exists for that matter? Read this:
Every one of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count as stealing), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing and detestable thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human!
You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
What is that "glory", morally speaking?
Well, the opposite of human nature and desires.
Not lying, not stealing, and having a perfect thought life is God's standard for us.
But if its God's standard and we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it?
Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, but after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in perfect harmony with God's morals, standard, and love. So while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged. To the point where we are "opposed" to God, hence His nature and standards being the opposite of what we see as reasonable or possible. The Bible even makes it clear that "apart from God you can do nothing" - John 15:5. Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite", unreasonable and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things.
Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it?
The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a
murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would attack that judge and call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil.
This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever. Hence Hell.
"The soul that sins shall die (in Hell and suffer damnation)" - Ezekiel 18:20
But God, who is also love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death, even though we broke the law and deserve to bear the guilt, pain and be cut off from perfection forever through damnation.
Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin.
God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us).
God allowed Him to take the pain we deserved, He took ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely as if He was the picture of mankind's sin itself so that we do not have to be punished.
Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf).
So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared and free because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH.
"I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (immortally and eternally in Heaven when I return)" - John 11:25,26
ALL we have to do is accept it by faith. Faith alone in Christ alone.
Religion = rules to be saved
The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong it time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He knows you even better than that. He created you and knows you inside out.
...WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
What does it actually mean for us?
It means we can be completely free from the penalty of damnation.
Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. Just remember that. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life.
What does this new way of life entail?
It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39.
Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose.
Sound "opposite" again?
God knows it sounds opposite, which is why, as The Bible states, this is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature.
We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God)
Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the Holy Spirit, sent by Him to us after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts of love and truth and conviction, verses, ideas, prayers and He guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him.
"With man it is impossible, but with God, NOTHING is impossible!" - Matthew 19:26
What is the way FOR though?
Firstly its to save you from sin - the only way to gain victory over sin and not have it as your master is through having Christ as your master and following His aid to resist the devil's temptations.
Christ lived down here for 33 years suffering EVERY FORM of temptation that you have ever faced - "who in every respect [has] been tempted as we are, yet without sin" Hebrews 4:15.
Therefore He is able to help us through our struggles. When the devil knows people have left his camp, he always tries harder with more temptations and evil attacks. BUT - His way is also there to guard and teach you daily in the midst of this (and despite this) sinful, selfish world.
The path He wants you to walk is a path of committment and love - its not about rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did GAVE us salvation.
All we need is faith.
The rest, the "fruits of good works (the will to obey and follow Him)", are what come through true, maturing faith. It's all about faith and the relationship God wants with you just like before sin arrived.
God preferred His own Son to be tortured And *killed* to give a chance to us (who broke His law of perfection) so that we can live as His children again. He wants us to love and trust and worship Him.
What if I still find myself sinning after I have accepted Christ?
That's why Christ died, For our sin. His death doesn't fix us in a snap like that, but it does protect us from the damnation that our past, present and future sins would bring without Jesus.
It's a process - a lifelong process - of God bringing you back to Him, away from the destructive pleasures of sin (greed, selfish temptations, trampling on people to gain). This process takes a *lifetime*, as it does for all, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin you committed already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame.
Regardless of the darkness you are in or the extent or frequency of the sins you have committed or will commit, regardless of how doubtful you may feel, know that Jesus UNDERSTANDS completely and He is faithful.
"those who come to Me, I will by no means cast out" - John 6:37

Remember that He will "NEVER - and that means never - leave you, NOR forsake you" - Deuteronomy 31:6
Regardless of what goes on down here, God knows, Jesus has been down here and felt all the emotions you are feeling.
You can go to Him with them and be assured that He loves you and is for you.
Even in the storm, God is still there, walking on the water alongside you!
Keep your heart open to Him and remember that if we pray for Christ to enter our lives, He will.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life". - John 3:16

Intro is to long
We should all understand this, If we are to understand this FINAL BEAST system we need to look at ALL the identifiers first, not just pick one out of a barrel that fits our own story line! We also need to understand that there has been many "Beast" throughout history and there has been many "antichrists" as well but only ONE will fit what the bible warns us about!
Next, we should be asking ourselves, 'do all of these kingdoms fit into each of these categories'? Yes, to an extent, depending on who's telling the story (Church/Pastor) and w/o adding their own ideology to it! But, when you combine the totality of what Christ is telling us, nothing should be missing, otherwise we have just added our own theology to this puzzle! Everything has to fit and ALL the pieces of this Beast Power has to create a perfect picture for we to understand! For this reason it is not only important to read the text but it is also important (probably more so) to look into history of each of these Nations to try to figure out what God is really telling us.
So, what nations persecuted Gods people from the beginning? These Nations specifically are Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo/Persia and Greece. Of course Rome was responsible for Christian Persecution however, It is of extreme exaggeration when many wish to describe the first 300 years of the Church as an underground organization, "constantly under persecution by a Hostile and Anti-Christian Roman State", because history tells us otherwise! Although there were periods of terrible persecution against Christians, there were also long periods of time where the State and Christianity converged that eventually climaxed into Constantine's Edict of Milan (An agreement in AD 313 to treat Christians benevolently within the Roman Empire)
The dream of Nebuchanezzar and the interpretation provided by Daniel and his Prophecies is that he was PRIMARILY looking forward to the First coming of Christ and the Kingdoms that brought about this event. Daniel Chapters 2, 7, 8, 11 and 12 predicted the Historical settings leading up to Christ, as well as the Date in Chapter 9. (If I may jump ahead a bit, the Greek Empire is described in exact detail for the reason that it preceded the "Kingdom of Heaven"). If we look at history, Christ was born around 6BC. The Greek Empire was finally destroyed in 27BC, when Egypt was made a Roman Province.
The destruction of the Greek Empire was the FIRST STEP in setting up the "Kingdom of Heaven"; this being the time of Antiochus Epiphanes. His death set into motion this process! Daniel 11:2 explains the FIRST FOUR Kings of Persia, from Cyprus to Xerxes. Daniel 7 and 11 provides a detailed description of the Greek Empire from Alexander to Antiochus Epiphanes.
So what am I saying? The last two chapters of Daniel 11, showing the failed campaign of Crassus against the Parthians are extremely important for two reasons: (1) they show that the 4th Kingdom was NOT the Roman Empire and (2) it shows without a doubt, that Daniel 7:12 was fulfilled!
The 4th Kingdom (as we have been taught) was NOT the Roman Empire because the Roman Armies were NOT ALL POWERFUL and UNDEFEATABLE at that time! Rome was badly defeated when still growing as a power. Next, the Romans did not by any means TREAD DOWN "The Whole Earth" as is the requirement explained in Daniel!
It was the PARTHIANS who ruled over the landmasses of Babylon, Medo/Persia and the Greek Empires! Rome was an Empire of the West and Palestine was at its Eastern border. So, all the landmass immediately to the East of Palestine was outside of the Roman Empire. This explains how Daniel 7:12 was fulfilled! Because of Rome's failed actions against the Parthian, Babylonian, Median, and Persian Empires - ALL these Nations remained outside of the Roman Empire and control! Although their dominion was removed, they were independent of Rome itself!
SIDE NOTE: Remember, people! When the bible speaks of "Seven Heads and Ten Horns" God is speaking SPECIFICALLY of NATIONS! Hills have never been described as "NATIONS"...so to say that because Rome 'sits on seven hills' (which it actually does not but aside from seven hills) we CANNOT use this analogy because we are looking for "SEVEN NATIONS"!
BLASPHEMY: Revelation 17:3; "So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness (desert): and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." How Doug Batchelor pulls Rome out of this I will never know but allow me to show you what true meaning this has in particular!
According to Doug Batchelor we are looking for anything that Identifies scarlet colors and purple and straight away, he targets the Catholic Bishops and Priests who happen to wear these very colors...but wait a minute! Are we not looking for something more sinister than that? Something that shows diabolical hatred to God, sinister in every way and a scourge to Christianity? Of course we are and it is not going to be found in clothing!

So what of all the scriptures that state that hell is eternal and those non belivers will be there in torment.
Fire will hurt and there will torment, but it will not be neverending. If you research the word used to say forever (ever) you will see it is used in connection with things that have already ended. In Jonah 2:6, “forever” means “three days and nights.” In Deuteronomy 23:3, it means 10 generations. In the case of mankind, it means “as long as he lives” or “until death.” See 1 Samuel 1:22, 28; Exodus 21:6; Psalm 48:14.
Cosider the verses in Luke 17, where Jesus likens what happened at Sodom and Gomorrah to the judgement on the ungodly. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire, but that fire is no longer burning. It burned for some time, days or weeks I don’t know, until everything was consumed, then it stopped burning. Hell is not a place where people burn for all eternity, contrary to what many religions teach. They burn until they are dead and destroyed. The PUNISHING of the ungodly is not eternal, the PUNISHMENT is, that means the consequences are eternal and irreversible.

What is the proof we find in the bible that pure wine is unfermented?
New wine is not fermented. Do you think Jesus would get intoxicated and act foolishly commit crimes, yield to temptation? Many texts are talking against drinking alcohol.
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging and he that partakes of it is not wise. He also says our bodies are the Temple of God, and we should put anything harmful in it. Look at all the diseases that come from drinking alcohol. Most crimes are committed after drinking alcohol, many do things they wouldn't normally do after drinking, most men abuse their wives and girlfriends under the influence, most people are in prison for things done under the influence. Alcoholism destroys their lives and their family's lives. Alcohol lowers a person's inhibitions where Satan can tempt us. Does it sound like anything good comes out of drinking alcohol, losing our salvation would be the result. Nothing Godly comes out of drinking alcohol. The New wine is straight from the grape, grape juice. He wouldn't tell people not to drink it and then drink it himself.

The harlot in Revelation 18 is the papacy but specifically the church or ecclesiastical power of the papacy, but if you notice that harlot woman is riding the same beast of revelation 13. Implying the church will regaining her power to controlling the state (kingdom) again in the final days before Jesus comes.

@@nyambsdeborah8954 in his infinite wisdom, God showed John the same beast but with the church shown distinctly the second time. If you look at Revelation 13 and Revelation 17. It fairly plain to see that it's the exact same power being shown. Even the name of blasphemy and the heads show that is is the same power. Hope that helps. Also in chapter 13, the beast starts out as pagan Rome which did not have the church on top (no catholic church in pagan Rome) so that is probably the biggest reason. The transition from pagan to papal Rome is depicted in verse 2 when the dragon gives him his seat and power. That's when the switch happens but before that there is no woman to ride it so she is not present in that chapter. In chapter 17 these are events of the final days on earth and the church is already present. So she can be seen visibly riding (controlling) the beast (state) .
Rome is not the beast! No matter how many times Pastor Batchelor want to jimmy rig the text to fit Adventist theology, it simply does not fit! You should ask him however, how Islam does fit! The Lord promises everyone the gift of the Holy Ghost as stated in Acts 2:39. When you receive the Spirit of God you must speak in tongues as the Spirit gives you the utterance, Acts 2: 1-4. Your neighbor may not be able to tell if you are filled with the Spirit solely by observing the fruits of the Spirit in you because they may not be able to see your longsuffering, peace, joy etc as these are abstract things. I can't believe that this prominent pastor doesn't know this. It's when you start to walk in the Spirit i.e you must give up your own will and surrender fully to God that you wlll start to bear these fruits.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. 1 Cor 12:38-41

It's sad that the pastor can't give a definitive answer about how can one tell if he/she has the Holy Ghost. No wonder why so many persons although sincere are very lost because pastor don't even know how to instruct them on how to receive the Holy Ghost. Although, Acts 2: 1-4 lays it out clearly people still has refused knowledge. The lack of knowledge is really going to lead us to our demise. We must seek God sincerely and read the bible for ourselves. Remember that without the Spirit we are not God's children.

Well, Moses told God in OT that he’s not eloquent, then God told him to take Aaron his brother as his spokesman, so that aaron would be a prophet to him as Moses would be God to aaron, and knowing that God is who he was and who he will be , never changing, why didn’t God just gave Moses that gift? Great teachings. I do not agree with America being the second Beast. None of this teaching on this makes sense, his reasoning for his position does not line up with scripture at ALL.
