The research and development has picked up pace thanks to the Public-Private partnership. Excellent job team. The country wishes and awaits a lot more advancement from you all. All the best. Jai Hind.
wow. just wonderful to see the achievements of the year 2023. Hopefully 2024 video will be more exciting. DRDO really did a good job in 2023. All the best for the future. Please do something about aero engines , cyber security. and semi conductors.
Glimpse of APJ Abdul Kalam's hard work can still be seen in our modern missiles . We are developing superior missiles on the foundation laid by Missile Man of India
It would have been better if they had voiced over the video. It's little difficult to pause every few seconds to see what's the systems are... Still better than not getting any updates though!
ICs have been made (fabricated) in India since 1990s. We just don't have a commercial fab or a fab with higher mature nodes. Currently, we only have one fab under SCL, ISRO that can do 180 nm node photolithography. This is used for strategic purposes for ICs used in our strategic missiles, space rockets and Nuclear Reactors.
@@death_parade waaw good to know that. That's said 180nm is still too big and Hence need a bigger system to handle Complex Calculation's specially When a missile is in the air..
@@rajatdani619 180 nm is actually better for most military systems because you need ruggedness and cost-effectiveness more than you need raw computation power. But all that will change with AI. If we are to implement stuff like the AI fighter pilot that DRDO's CAIR is developing under the ACID program, we will need finer mature nodes like 45nm. Another area is sensor fusion, that will require better nodes than our 180. Frankly, the government can buy a 45 nm machine from the Europeans or Japanese and set up a fab at SCL for this, but it will cost around $4 Billion. Frankly, we'll need two National Programs asap: one on gas turbine engines and another on creating photolithography machines ourselves. Otherwise, we'll be left behind permanently.
Where is Tapas? Why didn't they involved it here. It is actually good machine and Government should allocate some more fund to acquire some numbered unit for army so that it can be tested in real field.
Tapas has two engine design which limits its flying hour in addition to increase weight We need a new design for Tapas so that it can compete with other drones of its category.
It seems like the utility of tanks is reducing. A tank costs 5-10 million dollars, excluding its active protection system, which cost another 1 to 2 million. But a round of Javelin cost less than $200000 and even an active protection system would be hard pressed against multiple Javelins.
common man dont kno deep defence researches and development hw a successful item is created by tons of research wich costs money single artillery shell costs in lakhs single missile costs in crores dey dont even care if enemy is more powerful n v r preparing ourselves for future dey only care abt "aalu mehenge hogaye, petrol mehenga hogya, cylinder mehenga hogya" 🙄🙄🙄
People talk about closing down this country's premiere R&D organizations at the drop of a hat but when asked for alternatives, these very same people have no answer other than "privatization". As if private enterprises (especially big ones) have ever invested seriously in core R&D comparable to DRDO. Tell me, by your logic, ISRO has also consistently failed to deliver on SCE-200 engine and has yet to achieve total independence in satellite launches (still need foreign rockets for our heaviest satellites). ISRO has also been unable to increase the launch cadence and its deadlines are slipping just as much as DRDO's deadlines. So tell me, should we ask ISRO to "wrap up" as well? BC ek PDE solve karne ko dunga to tere se hogi nahi and yet here you are talking nonsense about the best and brightest Indians who are actually making a difference. As for Indian Defence Forces, ask them to make realistic QRs. The humble Indian soldier sheds his blood for the country because the procurement officers are busy reading brochures of futuristic weapons and then putting that down in their QRs. Nobody is clean here. Everybody has shortcomings, be it Armed Forces, DRDO, DPSUs, Private Industries or MoD itself and PMO including Modi himself too. ALL OF THEM without exception have multiple shortcomings. But they are doing a heck of a lot more than you ever will. So curb your arrogance.
Shows the caliber of DRDO scientists who use gallis like “BC” to make their point across… shows the caliber of the people running the show… it took decades to make a system that too substandard ones… if present government had not put pressure you still would be showcasing your "leopaord tanks" to world and becoming the laughing stock of world .. shape up or ship out
Glad to see R&D progressing at faster rate, Although we have long way to go still!
Long long way indeed.
Yes. Good things take time.
Love from Nepal for India army most crazy and dangerous equipments ❤❤🥰🥰💞💞🇳🇵🇳🇵🤝🇮🇳🇮🇳🤝🇷🇺🇷🇺😈😈💪💪

Good work Drdo. Keep it up.
Respect India from Vietnam!
Thanks Vietcong 💪
Good jobs guys, need to make more powerful weapons
Thanks brother, I appreciate your effort through out these years...keep it up.

Awesome work by the DRDO!! Congratulations!!!
Well done All Indian scientist and DRDOs achivement's
Very nice quality video. Nice music. Keep it up.👏👏👏

5:12 so are the IC now made in India? And How Small are the Transistors? 30-40nm?❤

Very nice video...
Bhaiya amca pr video bnao is time kya status h uska
DRDO is doing great
From what I observe DRDO is doing grassroot technological development, making a good ecosystem for creation of greater technology
Excellent🎉DRDO
Superb ❤
good, but we have progress more ... we have to be little fast
We need vehicles like MGS fully amoured protected from ambush and mines.
No astra mk2 and mk3 trials?
Glaf india is doing it we need to build best deaigned and best looking aircraft
Artificial avlanche...means KALI 10,OOO is for real..💥💥
Paaji, using chemical explosives is a much better way of achieving the same. KALI ke power requirements means that weapon is unwieldy in combat.
What’s the music ?
Zoravar tank par kya update hai kab tak trial hoge kya usa ne us ke engine ki supply bhi rok di hai 🤔🤔

Tapas is a failure. It did help us develop multiple technologies, but overall, it failed its objectives. It is a design dead-end.

Indian defence forces cannot work on substandard equipment if DRDO cannot perform as best in world… it better wrap up
