I don't even think the endings are that bad, just poorly executed in a few places, and even then, I do think the overall execution is okay. At least with My Hero. Vigilantes's ending was a little bit worse imo

I am sad that this series has ended now, I feel like theirs still things that needed to be resolved and stuff like the quirk singularity doomsday theory.

@@wholesome_masochist4113 It was proven, but I think people think it is an event and not a gradual extinction from quirks outpacing peoples ability to handle them. The Dr creates the theory from studying AFO and it's limitations, but we are constantly given evidence of it through the drawbacks of quirks. It is just a lingering problem that goes unanswered. Over a couple of generations human civilization should just kind of end as it stands.
Yeah, without resolving the whole quirks are gradually becoming too strong for their users thing, MHA society just gradually ends over a couple of generations.
While it would be interesting to resolve that issue, it's not really something Deku or anyone else was really equipped to address. It was more of a vague future of what would happen after a long time.

The last chapter ending felt like a tease vibe for a sequel, so a continuation of Deku and Class A in a sequel is possible in the future
There are so many new possibilities to explore. Like deku having to use his mind to overcome a challenge when his suit fails or has some malfunction. He is essentially Iron man now
Hopefully they at least give us an OVA with them as adults.
I also hope for some kind of a sequel, I just want more canon content, nothing more. 🥲

Reading some of the comments here. Itd be kinda cool for a movie plot (even if its not canon) where somebody’s (villain) quirk was time travel based. So we get to see either future forms of class 1A working with other heroes in the series in their younger days. Or maybe its a movie where the non timeskip 1A class gets sent to the future and work with their future versions of themselves.
Basically like KHR when tsuna and gang get sent 10 yrs in the future and work with themselves. Itd be a fun one-off movie
I'm sure no one else is really all that interested, but I'd love to one day see an All Might Manga/Anime which explores his story...his past, where he came from, what his training and relationship with his master was like, his adventures as a super hero and the villains and big cases he took on, etc. All Might is my favorite character and I want to know so much more about him.
I always hoped they would do something like this, even if it’s just a season or 2 I think that would be great

Endeavor’s vision actually happens on chapter 357 not 362 but in the final panel of chapter 430 Class A still looks cool as Pros and now my favorites designs of Class A in each 4 groups
1. Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki and Uraraka
2. Tokoyami, Iida, Tsu, Kirishima, Ashido and Shoji
3. Sero, Kaminari, Jiro, Yaoyorozu, Shinso, Ojiro and Koda
4. Sato, Mineta, Aoyama and Hagakure (plus she’s not wearing any shoes anymore just gloves to stay invisible)
I loved the ending so yeah just need some improvements

I freakin LOVE this ending
2:10 horikoshi had fun and made future designs for the one panel. They had to look “different” enough to make us notice it was in the future, but easy and similar to current designs for simplicity and recognizability.
Then at the end of the series he just said, ehh i dont need to reinvent the wheel and just fleshed out the designs he probs already made/thought of.
While this ending isn't incredible, I do think it could have been a lot worse, and I do love the message for what it is. And I do think the series as a whole is super solid. I'm definitely going to miss it.
Also, I do think that Enji's vision was more of a hypothetical future since their designs were slightly different, but it's still an interesting comparison.
On the bright side, the Deku cuck memes that came from the final chapter has been entertaining.

now that you mention it, it's kind of sad because when you think about it, the dark deku arc was basically that for him but because he was overworked everyone saw him as a villain instead.
This would have been a great opportunity to give invisible girl a new costume that would make her not invisible when she doesn't need it. It was a missed opportunity to have such a panel and still have only drew her in as a pair of gloves.

I feel like even with a few minor changes the reception of this ending could be massively improved. If horikoshi is set on deku ending quirkless then he just needs to get the suit by the time he loses OFA or by graduation. Also any sort of real progress in the heavily implied developing relationships. With only 2 changes it may still feel rushed with some loose ends but i think much more satisfying for me personally.
Ochaco is using the lower half part of Izuku's mask ( season 2 or 3 version ) or something similar to the lower half of midoriya's mask.
The lower half of Izuku's mask has 2 holes on both sides same as ochaco's mask and it's shape is the same
I do think it is to show a part of him is with her and she is honoring him ( which makes sense )

Did he pass on AM too? If not then Deku can get his power back, he never passed on All Mights ghost vestige. When he AM dies, from natural causes ofc, then he will be a full vestige and Deku will get AM’s power back at least

So, I don’t want to mess with the timestream too much, but here's the plot twist for the MHA 'shippuden' which _should_be out in about 2 years:
AFO is still alive. In that final battle, Bakugo vs AFO, when AFO was now a baby, it is revealed that Bakugo contains the vestiges of AFO, but due to the way the rewind quirk was acting in addition to the chmages in bakugo thanks to edgeshot saving him, it didn’t register to the other character vestiges. However, AFO's very weak as he doesn't have all his old powers, and been slowly gathering his power. He has been rebuilding his empire in secret as Bakugo sometimes blacks out and has no recollection of what occurs during that time.
Deku does get his spotlight back with that Might-Knight suit (that's the translation, but when we get it in English translation it might be different) but he has a time limit on how long he can use it as it's VERY tough on his body.
Also, he and Uraraka ARE dating, but it's very tension-based as while they have been confirmed to share feelings, Deku has a love rival (not Bakugo obviously, who ships them, but some new rescue hero with a very unhinged quirk involving freezing time (won't spoil too much).
Oh, and it turns out that Minetta is now datong a lot of models for clout, because they found out his sticky balls quirk is actually useful in suprresing aging, which is why he is so small. 😂

Make him a nerd with nomu level iron man suit, Thematically, he defeats AFO without a quirk, like how Tony defeats Thanos. He would've proved you can be a hero without a busted quirk. He just proved 1st episode Bakugo right🤷🏿♂️. OFA feels so contrived now. Just a device to justify why they could AFO.

MHA is one of the most thematically rich and consistent shonen I’ve ever read, I don’t know how anyone can see this ending and think negatively of it. The old woman extending her hand is maybe the biggest payoff in the series. It’s such a beautiful ending.
I personally think the ending was good. It also managed to bring out the feeling of the reader. And it had a nice touch to real life, you never see that in anime or manga.
The ending is ambiguous and I felt like horikoshi did it intentionally so that he can plan a sequel after a long vacation.
Despite claiming he entrust his fellow mangaka to do a sequel, I don't believe it especially since he failed his promise of showing deku dad
He probably left it very open to discussions, so when people finally get over it, he will surprise us with a sequel series 😅

If you do, it's made clear Deku meant that the whole class hasn't been able to meet up all together. Not that none have met up at all. Which is pretty typical for people once they graduate HS/University

No matter how you see it, this ending cannot be defended, the villains died, something was recognized, but the joke is being recognized as bigger than Koichi. That armor is garbage because it contradicts everything, Bakugou was right "without a gift you are nobody", without money you are nobody. A mediocre ending 2/10, it's an ending and that's enough friends.
Tbf this ending was better than Vigilantes's ending since it gave more closure. Granted the closure that was given was iffy, but it's at least something. All in all, I don't think this ending was terrible.

As someone who has finished 1000+ different animes, this is a very good ending and it fits the story very well. The most people who didn't like it are Americans who always expect the mc to end as some godly all-powerful being. The outfit makes no sense at all from a practical standpoint and from a in universe standpoint and was honestly made to just be proactive that’s it. Her being a teenager has nothing to do with her ability to access herself. We see multiple teenagers do capable things in this show, I’m not sure how for this specific reason- the age matters.
If you know anything about the woman’s chest you would know that the outfit she was wearing is just genuinely uncomfortable and nearly impossible to move with because of how to tissue works. A simple sports bra would’ve accomplished the same. (Her stomach is exposed as well as most of her back) She also never needed such a short skirt as we never see her make something from her legs.
The only problem is that her outfit should have been more revealing, especially after the time skip, not less, that seems a little weird.

I was really hoping they gave this series a different ending. It would be better if since deku was the one to complete one for all, all of the quirks that make up the power become engrained into his very being. This would allow him to keep all of the quirks he attained while still giving him room to get stronger. The only thing that would change is that the vestiges are no longer there of course, and he can no longer pass it on but the quirks spread separately amongst his descendants.
