Mosley and Ron Dennis always had a cold relationship, but after the Michelin fiasco and Ron being very vocal against him, the relationship went frigid. That’s why with Spygate in ‘07 McLaren got such a brutal fine and was excluded from the constructor’s championship. Teams would always spy on each other, so this punishment was unprecedented and rather a result of a personal feud between both men, rather than a serious sporting violation. Either way, thank you Zeddie! You’re the GOAT! ❤️
It’s about the weight effect of the fuel in those days. A much lighter car that needed much more fuel than today meant the 2 stopping car was maybe 50kg heavier, 2 seconds plus slower per lap at stages in stints compared to 3 stoppers. I guess a lighter car is also easier on the tyres.
If Fizzy hadn't had problems on both pit stops it might have been two Renaults on the podium. I wonder if that spectacular pace was not owing to Flavio Briatori's belief in the Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt not be found out.
Is it even a Sunday morning without a coffee, bacon butty and Big Z’s latest video?
Rhetorical question, indeed!!
Feel like a kid all over again
Or perhaps while eating Cheese Pancake while watching F1 races from 2005.
Big Zed keeps delivering. Such love for this legend
This 2005 french GP is 9/10.
Kimi was on another planet this weekend.

Thanks Big Z 🙏🏿 any chance you have the 2006-2008 seasons on ITV
4 weeks to go before race of the century is uploaded on BZ
2005 was such a what could have been for Kimi Raikkonen. Yes Alonso deserved the championship but it should have gone right to the wire.
The amount of engine failures Raikkonen had in 2005 was unreal that costed his shot at the 2005 championship
Clearly the McLaren MP4-20 was the fastest car, but not the best car. Reliability was it’s kryptonite.
3:29 I’ve never seen this argument explored more, but unquestionably it was the best option.
Coffee, toast and vintage F1! Thanks Zeddie, happy Sunday! ☕🏁😉
Thanks for uploading the old f1 videos
I hope in 2025, F1 should brought back Magny Cours to replace Paul Ricard.
Without tire changes being available, it's a wonder the 3 stop strategy was ever useful.

Perfect way to start the morning !! Thank you Zeddie !!!
Sunday morning
Big Zeddie
Breakfast for champions!!!
I love how the commentary team were certain The Michael was on a 3-stopper. Did they not remember last year? 🙂
Big Z is my unsung hero, thank you for all these uploads!
So looking forward to Silverstone Big Z, I’ll be there for all 3 days! 😉
French GP was never really that exciting, 2005 was doublely so because of the awful FIA rules on tyres. Atleast the engines sounded good.
There were great races in 05 even with the tyres. Grid drops for engine changes are the biggest issue and also the magny cours is horrible for racing
@@whogivesafack-ch3lja select few. Imola, Belgium and Suzuka are probably the only races that were good.
Trulli train alert!!!
Thanks Big Z ❤😊
Well that was a bit of a snooze… I think we should get an early Silverstone 😅 But thanks Big Z!

Kasabian!
Happy race days thanks to the Big Z himself.
Thanks very much
Poor Webber burnt his backside twice in 12 races 😄
Trulli train 😅
Ngl glad max Moseley is gone guy was a huge hypocrite
14:38 BANZAI
Alonso was FLYING. This is what happens when u give him a good car
And he doesn’t let his ego get in the way of his driving
@@tombardsley3081Alonso 2005 and 2006 = Alonso 2023.
Borefest. Magny cours has always been the worst track. Fast corners are so bad for overtaking, no real straights. 2/5 race, really boring.
1999 was a banger but that was wet. 2002 and 2004 were decent i guess.
surely it can't be worse than the complete joke that is current day Mexican GP or Miami GP
@@tomcharlton586 generally it isn't a good race
@@magnussencube yes mexico is garbage. Miami is meh and shouldn't be on the calendar. Bring back turkey, Malaysia, nurburgring, hockenheim etc.
@@whogivesafack-ch3lj correct. We could easily get rid of qatar mexico miami and abu dhabi and replace them with the tracks you mentioned
