@@soundheadquarters If a have a ceiling cloud ( 3 panels connected together), where do I place it? Over the MLP or over the main tower and center speakers? I live in an apartment. I'm sitting 9-10 feet away from the main stage. Any imput would be appreciated. Greetings from Houston, Texas
great vid for bedroom producers. why didn't you prefer making a diffuser for this room? when and under what circumstances should we combine a diffuser with acoustic panels?
Thank you! We did not make any diffusers for this room due to budget/cost savings for this client. It is usually ideal to have a combination of absorption and diffusion within the room, however especially for home studios the cost of diffusers can be prohibitive.
Hey! Quick question - what kind of hooks and anchors did you use to hang the clouds? If you bought on Amazon, any chance you could drop a link? I'm finding all kinds of weird hardware, but want to make sure I'm getting the right things...
Thanks for watching glad it helped! The nail gun is a 16 gauge finish nailer, and the air compressor is to power the nail gun for the frames, and the stapler for the fabric.
I have a question about those insulation materials. Do you or do you not need to wear protective clothing, mask, gloves while you using? Such a great video anyway 👍
Yes absolutely! Please don't follow my poor safety practices haha. I have a lot of prerecorded footage from before but for future videos I will be wearing gloves and respirator. Thank you so much for watching!
The cost all depends on your location, materials used, and if you have access to your own tools and equipment. I always recommend setting your budget first, then treating the biggest problem areas as well as you can. Every room and persons needs are different, send me an email if you are interested in consulting for your own space. Or if you are located in the Toronto area, I can provide a full quote. Thanks for watching!
I think this is more of a "how to hand stuff on your walls" video. I was hoping for more information on the building-design-placement of the panels themselves.
@@fxrbxjx How can you not be smart enough to know how to hang the panels on the wall? Where are the calculations for the size of the panels, the type of foam to use, and the placement? The purpose of a bass traps is to eliminate (absorb) low frequency standing waves. The frequency and amplitude of the standing waves varies depending on room dimensions. That is the information I was looking for.
This is a great idea for a future video! In the meantime feel free to email me for personalized consulting if needed for your room I'd be happy to help. Thanks and take care
The panels look pretty thin. But the looks of the studio are nice.
Best videos I’ve seen so far🔥🔥
Thank you!

What type of nail gun you’re using and what’s the air compressor for? Thanks for the video, it’s really helpful!!!

I have a quick question. What will be the estimated cost for the same room treatment ?
