The Recommended process is as below - 1) Sand & Remove TouchWood coating. 2) Apply Epoxy Insulator as barrier coat. 3) Then Apply PU as per recommended process.

Hi, we would like to inform you if you compare both category (PU & Gala). Gala is single pack limited durability product & PU is 2 pack high durability product. If you apply PU over gala polish, the durability of PU will not be very long. There is a chance PU can peeled off over gala due to compatibility issue. We recommend you to avoid such combinations.
Instead of removing old coating, you can sand the surface and apply fresh coat of PU. If you want to remove PU, you have to sand the surface or use paint remove for removal.

Hi Suraj, you can coat furniture with APPU from all sites this will make wooden substrate water repellent & protect from water/ moisture.
