I would put the B&M invert over the Dive. I was kind of surprised you didn’t. Inverts are WAY more diverse than dives. Nemesis, Montu, and black mamba are good examples of trenched low level inverts, and then you have big ones like Banshee and Alpie. And now you have Monster at gronalund showing yet another unique layout and set up for that model.
I would have just left all B&M's off... they aren't that diversified compared to other manufacturers. That's the reason I'm bored of their coasters and prefer Intamin.
@@supremefan I agree with that statement but if you had to pick one it’s the invert or the hyper model. And for hyper I’m counting rides like mako and the gigas. Also I love intamin aswell my top 10 has 5 intamins in it
We could add the Mack Stryker Coaster to this list too since Voltron at Europa Park just had its preview event recently, high thrills mixed with surprise elements, and really high capacity, a lot of big parks will have their eyes on the Stryker model and what its capable of.
Not sure if the stryker really deservers its own category its mostly just an elongated infinety. Having said that. that coaster looks absolutly phantastic i really am bummed that i don't have time before the end of august to get over there. It might be a top 5 coaster and i ve done steel vengeance, Zadrah and I305 And going to do ride of happiness tommorow wich i fully suspect will be in my top 5. (didn't like X-2 and Ka that much still awsome rides but one is to painfull for me and the other is just to much of a one trick pony).
Wdym by Infinity? I guess its a new Version of the Mack Big Dipper, but what does IT have to do with the Infinity Coaster by Gerstlauer?@@arturobianco848
I think the B&M wing deserves a mention. We've seen them launched, traditional lifts, wing over drops, regular drops, family models, a swing launch shuttle coaster, more intense like Thunderbird and Wild Eagle, more graceful like Gatekeeper. B&M has been doing some interesting things with the wing model, and I think it's versatility is already apparent, and there's still a lot they could do. Probably the most underrated B&M model tbh
I’d say it’s a bit of a stretch considering Falcon’s Flight the same model as the rest of the Intamin multi-launches, as it features totally different train designs. But again, coaster models are super vaguely defined, I’d say Kondaa and Pantheon might have as many similarities between them as between Kärnan and Fury, so it totally depends on how manufacturers define their models, same can be said with newer Vekoma sit-downs as they all feature the same track and train design.
I'm looking forwards what Vekoma is gonna do with their new gen coasters. For now only Lech is extreme enough to come close to an elite coaster but the potential is certainely there for bigger and better rides. They are already one of the best in the family and family thrill department and with lech coaster and F.L.Y. they have proven the can be much more. And while their STC and (mult)i launch coasters are a bit on the tame side they are incredably enjoyable. Defently need to go china a couple of times to try out more of their newer stuff.
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od I can see that just in my eyes personally I think it looks even better than Velocicoaster which may be a stretch to many but I guess not to me! :)
Certainely looks to me like its going into my top 5 and i have a very solid top 2 with 4 strong contenders for the other 3 spots. And i haven't done ride to happiness yet (that i'm gonna fix tommorow). So after tommorow i expect a very solid top 3. And Steel vengeance isn't even in there. hopefuly i can scedule a viste their in the last week of august it looks absolutly great.
I think the B&M wing coaster could make top 15 because of additions like Maximus at LegoLand Germany, and Mandril Mayhem at Chessington World of Adventures. They pair greatly with rides like gatekeeper and X-Flight In the US.
I guess Karnan is currently Gerstlauer's only Hyper. Not sure if its been tossed around they could do a more traditional hyper/giga like Vekoma did 10 years ago for the ride thar became Hyperion at Energylandia
the dymamic attraction sfx-Coaster should be on here(and the Gerstlauer/Intamin Family Coaster because of their uniqness) + u should mention the inverted Infinity Coasters
If you go by inverts its probable going to be Vecoma. They currently use the same technice on their FSC as their STC. Only problem is the second STC is just being build.
Vekoma is taking B&M to court for stealing their tech & patent for the surf coaster. Also, Ride to Happiness still has their magnet on the train but MACK allows the park to shut them off, since it is a electro magnet. The new gen. Vekoma Sit Downs are also quite versitile. They can launch, lift, tilt and do any inversion possible.
I like what you said about RMC, also they use that track for the new Fire In the Hole. That shows a huge difference from let’s say Steel Vengeance, but they both use that same track! 😅
This was an interesting video! I had no idea the RMCs are also known as IBOX. Someone already mentioned this, but I think B&M inverts as well as the hyper models should be included in this ranking. Those models are also very versatile. And speaking of Intamin launch coasters, please cross your fingers and say your prayers that I’ll actually get to ride Hagrid’s and VelociCoaster before this year is over😂🤞🏻🙏🏻
Solid list. I'd add the Intamin Mega Coaster model as another model. And I'm referring to the actual model type not the height category. Between Kondaa, Millennium Force, Hyperion (which manages to pull off the 4 across seating), Superman the Ride, Coaster through the Clouds and even Thunder Dolphin, that model does some pretty diverse stuff and is quite adaptable.
When you keep in mind that Mack build their first real large scale coaster just 15 years ago ... they doing many things right. And with the Big dipper and Stryker models, they got something similar to the Gerstlauers in their portfolio
@@CoasterDash Voltron just had it's press day and opens to the public on friday, Hyperia will come in may or june, the next Big Dipper comes to Vienna in September, Starfall racers is allready testing for the 2025 opening and the next Xtreme spinner is set for 2026 at Holiday Park in Germany... And it's not just the coasters, they innovate also on Dark/water rides. The trackless technology they build for "Eatrenalin" is just amazing ... and the "Rocking Boat" concept promises next level waterides ... maybe exactly what Universal is waiting for the rebuild "JAWS".
To be fair i think gerstlauer came even later to the scene with bigger coasters. I can agree with your point on mack but you compaired it to the wrong manufactorar.
@@arturobianco848 Gerstlauer made their first Eurofighter in 2003 ... 6 years before Macks Blue Fire ... and keep in mind that the founders of Gerstlauer worked for Schwarzkopf before forming their own company ... So they had a pretty good experience in building thrill rides before they even started.
@@karstenbursak8083 I wouldn't call a Eurofighter especially the earlier ones a big coaster. Very Thrilling for such a small thing yes. But not a major coaster. Its a bit like Vekoma's boomerang in that regard. I think flught von novograd was their first big one and thats from 2009.

Technically, these are two different models. The old Vekoma flying coasters such as Batwing are part of the “Flying Dutchman” model.
