Wayne stop giving these people something extra! If they have money for a Benz they have money to maintain it. I get it, if they don't want to spend the money on correction, that's on them. You are essentially being barred from doing your best work. All goes back to educating the customer and setting the expectation, and listing the services they are requesting in written and verbal. I always recommend customers get a email invoice so they can see all the work you put into it. Your doing great, just remember you get to choose who want to work with and for! Our services aren't for those who want it, they are for people who can afford it!
The ceramic sealant I use is the Sonax Ceramic spray. It’s an amazing product and gives about 6 months of protection. I sometimes even mix bead maker with it as well.
I still commend you for going above and beyond for the customer and giving her a little more than what she was wanting to pay for. Turtlewax has come a long way, their flexwax graphene has been amazing and for maintenence. I like the answer also, a full blown ceramic coating in the bottle is more durable and spans a longer time but the spray sealant will also give a good added bit of protection and then I use seal and shine on top of it
Nice bro but my guy the turtle wax out performs the seal and shine. The seal and shine only wins in the chemical resistance but I don’t see why you would cover up the superior water beading and gloss of the ceramic spray coating bro? If you know let me know :)
Hey hunter, the iron remover has to eat through iron particles, then through the clear to get to the paint...just use a pump sprayer and walk around the car and spray, by the time you get back to the spot you started, pick up the hose and just rinse it. Use a clay mitt as you wash the car, theres washes with lubrication, this will cut your time in half with the same results. Just my opinion....;)
I have been using Jaime the Cleaners method of mixing P&S Beadmaker with P&S Dream maker. Mixed 10-1 (10BM to 1 Dream). Awsome results. Great pop on the paint with less dusting!
I use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax, after your first application for a reapplication you simply spray it on and and spray it off then dry the vehicle. Saves me a crazy amount of time with my maintenance clients!
Meguiars m27 hybrid ceramic sealant is 🔥 one-swipe wipe off & it self-levels into the paint so not much to wipe off. Can buy in a gallon on Amazon & super cost-effective. Not much is needed for a 2 by 2 section
I really want to have a business like this, but I much rather get the shop first where I focus on exterior coatings and then get a van for mobile where I hire an employee to knock those out. 💯💯 Keep frowning bro!
I've only just started getting into the detailing game, but I'm partial to CarPro HydrO2 Lite (spray on, rinse off), The Last Coat (spray on, buff off), and the Turtle Wax ICE Seal and Shine (spray on, buff off), which is a hybrid wax and ceramic sealant
i use Technicians Choice Ceramic spray....quick and easy. you can use it in direct sunlight doesnt smear and last 3 or4 months also gives good gloss as well. side note do your thang boy! Hunter out here moving!
Consider invoices so that it is clear and explicit what the service is and what it costs. It sounds like they are trying to haggle the price by finding an inconsistency. They know that some businesses will not argue and offer the service to maintain a customer. You did the right thing by extending the discount and making it easy for them to do business. Stick to your product and maintain that integrity!
Last December I think that someone made a mistake and priced the Miguyers ceramic sealant for only 7$. I purchased a whole shelf of them lol.. That stuff works super good and I find that it does last a long time for the minimal amount of work.
I offer the turtle wax spray ceramic to clients as a cheaper option as well. Have had some very happy clients. I always explain the difference and the fact that turtle wax will only last you a couple of months
This product he is using is no where near the same as a ceramic coating. But I won’t hate because he does what’s best for his business and Wayne is an awesome guy! I use nova Lustra, nova jet, Beadmaker (does have SIO2 in it but smaller amount) Gyeon can coat is so easy to apply as an entry level coating. I personally never liked the new TW products. I think a cheaper product like this is good for a car that obviously no one really cares about. P&S also has a one year coating called “sole”. That stuff is so easy to apply and can charge at least $300+ to apply.
Honestly I used to do sells your best bet to get your name out is leave contact cards, go with an adult and try door to door knocking you may get lucky since you're 13, and also try to use social media. Good luck man and Don't give up of you want it to be your career, because it's definitely going to be very hard for a long time buddy! So good luck.
The fact he said the car been out of service for a year and looking at some parts missing on the car and the neighborhood, someone is trying to live beyond their means lol.
Love your videos bro! I implement your techniques in my life and business, dig it! BTW, I am fully on board with the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions line, especially Graphene FLEX liquid wax and spray wax! I just started doing Sprinters for $200 exterior only, what do you think of that price? Wash, dress plastic and wheels, Bug removal on front, 2 coats Spray Wax (Turtle Wax Hybrid FLEX, or Griot's Ceramic 3+1) Keep the great content coming
Already homie git Nothing but love for question I'm have trouble gaining Pressure to power washer it works If I take the screw off an also I only have a35 Gallon water tank some I want to know if I need a bigger tank or what thanks keep pushing
Adams advanced ceramic coating or like you in this video, I'd use the adams advanced ceramic spray and apply it like a ceramic. Not sure if applying a spray ith an applicator does anything different or not. ty
You gotta love your vehicle first, before taking the decision to apply a ceramic coating… The true ceramic “reflection” comes from a car that was properly prepared for a ceramic coating. On my opinion, do all your best to try have all paint corrections done, before applying a ceramic coating. Depends of which ceramic coating are you using, but, if it seals into paint and you didnt corrections, sunlight will reflect all those imperfections 🤷🏻♂️
Foam and wait? Hold up. I saw in another video that new white bot working for you cameran I think his name is, he went right to scrubbing after you foamed
I'm curious if you still use the 2 bucket method when washing? I just watched another video where a detailer used 6 microfiber mitts on a sedan (1 per section) and he was saying you waste less water that way and in the long run its cheaper I guess. Hit me with Your thoughts
The two bucket still can have more dirt contact, it is less contact with dirt if say you had multiple clean wash mitts or towels every time with out needing to rinse at all. Also another alternative method if you have one bucket is to rinse your wash mitt with your pressure wash or water hose after contact without a second bucket, the second bucket will have more dirt than clean water from your hose.
Looks awesome bro. But unfortunately it looks like a customer who doesn’t want to spend a bit of money to get the car in nice condition. Like the saying says… the poor man always pays twice. (FACT).
Bro I get tired just looking at you I think you over kill a lot of things that just basically kill ur time …. Example taking the air tool out for this job ,setting up ur table ,deaconing paint … this wasn’t a full detail from the get go so why waste time doing all those things .. I think you need to be a bit more organized
Detail firm defend, really good sealant and it really enhances the over all finish of the paint . Amazing on coated cars but I’m sure it works just as good on situations as this one Much love from larrysautodetailing 🫡🙌🏽

i’ve tried different sealants, but the turtle wax ceramic has worked wonders. glad to see i’m not the only one repping tw.
I definitely rep the TW Hybrid Solutions and Pro line of products.

Chemical Guys (Hydro charge )
Has been a great quicker cheaper really effective spray coating.
Those the videos we like man, you in action and sharing knowledge!!!!!!
personally for the ceramic spray I go with Mother's
Crazy how someone can leave a S-class like that, didn't even want to do the full polish being cheap on such a luxury vehicle.
