When housing is seen as a commodity (something to profit off of and not something as a right) this is what happens. All these landlords, and even apps like airbnb sit on housing artificially inflating the market because there isn’t enough housing on the market. We need price regulation, we need regulation on companies, and just the decomodification of the market in general. This is a problem not just in the USA but Canada as well.
That "normal" house is $1.1 million more than it would be in Pennsylvania even under this administration. Pre covid that would be $225k. The one after that you said was in Toronto proper is a $250,000 ish house here.
Like most problem in our modern society currently in the west , if you cant talk about certain aspect of the problem because its politicaly incorrect for you i am not interessed in your opinions and solutions , people are tired of midwits dishonest blue pill logics
Here's what you also have to take into account do things need to be fixed on the inside like the shower and remodel and all that if it has not been done already also have to think about the price for materials for the remodel if it needs to be done . Ke7eul PHX az
Well you can blame Justin Trudeau's inflationary spending for the price of these houses
I live in Washington state in the US, and it's pretty crazy here too, actually pretty similar to what you show in the video
I’m thinking ink was in America but really he’s my neighbour 😂
Montreal here and pricing is OUT OF CONTROL
Toronto and it’s even worse 😭😭
I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever be able to move out with housing market in Canada
Nacht der Untoten is in Canada now?

My grandparents bought their house in 2001 in Toronto for 300k. It is now worth over 1 mil.
Don’t live in Canada. Canadians say how much better it is in Canada. I was told Canada has better water than the US
That's why most people from Toronto\Ontario move to New Brunswick way bigger different price
These homes are all at least $1mil over what they should be. Woof.
Even west of Toronto its getting bad
