    Thank you panel for your thoughtful analysis! One more thing: If you prepared 4+ days for this hearing and had NO answers, that means she prepared 4+ days on how to best obfuscate and dodge legitimate questions. That is unacceptable.

      That's correct because SS agent, active or retired, will never reveal details of SS operations to the public. And Congress knew that. They will get all the answers on closed hearing, but they did it on live TV so the public focuses their anger on one person rather than on the entire agency.

      Question: do y'all think she would've had the opportunity to redeem herself had she not been so deceptive or took accountability for what happened? Her defiance was breathtaking. Would it have helped her if she had been transparent and remorseful? Because after watching this I get the feeling she is a leftist operative who was sorry the shooter missed. Of course she's probably not, but she definitely didn't care that Trump almost died bc if she did she would have shown remorse and some sort of humanity. And while I am a woman and I know my value as a woman I believe a man would have been able to handle not only this interview better, I think the whole operation would be better since she had goals of putting more women in the agency instead of focusing on the only task that matters at all-the safety and security of anyone they are required to protect. Washington is so bogged down with identity politics that they can't see the forest for the trees. Women have incredibly valuable roles in society and always have. Same for men. But they are not the same roles. When men and women try to impose on each other's roles nobody wins. Thanks for letting me rant.

    One lawyer said a lot of this is political theater. Some questions asked are pointless and just for theater. Not that the situation isn't serious or real though. Great stuff Spidey. Love all your content 😊

    • @Vetrarland
      @Vetrarland 3 месяца назад +3

      I don't think it's political theater as in that everyone including Congress is involved, the director obviously reports to someone higher up that has told her what to say and what not to say and Congress is rightfully frustrated by her (non) answers so it does look like political theater in that way.

      That’s not how the system in the United States works that’s how it works in dictator countries but not this country. Our system is based off of innocent until proven guilty. What it is is that this hearing was probably premature because it should have been done after the investigation was completed that way there was no reason for her to avoid answering any questions and anything that the investigation show could be questions and confront and addressed.
