Dr. Nancy, thank you for doing the kind thing for the one male horse that had a dislocated shoulder. She’s in a better place now. And it looked really painful.❤
I'm so sorry for the horses that you had to put down. I know it is so difficult to show this to people but I really appreciate you doing that. It is an important reality and a critically important decision you made to spare that poor animal of further suffering. Unless you have taken care of severely sick and injured horses it is almost impossible to understand that certain injuries cannot be treated or rehabbed and how badly they suffer.
I love that these horses are being rescued, but it sure hurts your heart because of their injuries and abuse. God bless these horses, and maybe one day humans will become humane.
You are so well prepared and organized. Your auction team is efficient. It's a challenge to coordinate everything. Having a full time vet is significant. Probably kill buyer's don't go to this auction because Horse Shelter is such a contender. Such a reputation! ♥️

Absolutely Epic that you were able to rescue every horse at the auction!!! God Bless you all for your dedication to these beautiful creatures 🥰
It's absolutely horrible what some people do or in this case not do for their horses, it breaks my heart to see a horse that should be ginormous end up skin and bones. I almost think pride gets in their way with some people to actually do the right thing and surrender their pets/horses before their health is out of control. The worst thing is to see some horses who can barely walk because their feet go untrimmed. What is it about $130.00 bucks every 6 to 8 weeks if you can't afford that you shouldn't be a horse owner. Women spend more then that on their own nails sad to say. It's a disgrace. Horse Plus you are doing a wonderful thing for these poor animals keep up the great work.
Dr. Nancy is a rock star! She not only does the vet care, but loads horses and drives a trailer, too! I see her getting more comfortable in front of the camera and being more confident in her role. Great choice.

The last act of kindness is certainly that. I sat the picket line at Carvel in September thru December 2006. These horses didnt have to do the long trip over the North or South border and they didnt have to face the Horrors of the 3rd chure before the kill chute. Those poor babies see the two before them shot with the bolt gun, drop like a stone and hear the squeal of the missed. That is a terror no living sentiment being should ever have to face.
THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!! There should be so few (none) horses going though auction that rescues can take ALL that are in danger! I know it’s not the happiest ending for all of the horses but for the whole species this is a win!
Corey has the gift with animals. He can see it their feelings and can help ease them. Thank you all for what you do. These creatures deserve to be the center of love in someone's life; not to be someone's auction throw away.

Thank you God for these wonderful organizations and good people like HORSE PLUS HUMANE SOCIETY who TRULY care for the innocent. Please bless them always with good health and good lives and bless them with all they need to continue saving lives. In Jesus name Amen 🙏
I follow an equestrian channel, and she recently did a video talking about how people keep horses even if they don't have enough money put aside to pay for the last act of kindness or any kind of vet bills if something should happen, and so just dump their horse at auction. And I have to assume that most of the horses that are rescued that obviously should have already been given the last act already are in this camp. If you don't even have enough money to give your horse the last act of kindness, give it away. Holding onto it isn't an act of love, it is an act of cruelty.
It's not just horses. Used to work at a vet's office for small animals (ie: dogs and cats mostly, sometimes small rodents, birds, and one owl). The number of people who refused to give their animals the last act of kindness was appalling. One woman had a terrier, cataracts, 19, kidney failure, and was on a lot of medication. The woman kept it alive and the dog in the six months I worked there spent more time in a kennel because she was constantly traveling and just shoved it into a cage with us every time she left. This woman was retired, she was traveling for leisure and doing this to the poor dog. It set my teeth on edge and when I mentioned to the other staff in private how utterly inhumane it was they told me it was good money and her choice. I didn't last long there. I see it over and over again with animals. My aunt's dog was suffering from severe kidney failure crammed in a small cage in the house that barely let out on several medications and she called it her baby she couldn't part with. I was actually relieved when the poor things suffering ended. People need to learn to let go, and not let their emotions (or religion because yes, that's a factor) allow such cruelty.
@@SaraNightfire1 That is unbelievable. My mother always taught my siblings and I as children that if one of our pets were in a lot of pain or had an incurable illness that would make them suffer, then we had to love them enough to let them go. Over my life we've had to give the last act of kindness to three dogs and one cat for different health reasons, more than the number of our pets that passed away naturally but we did it because we loved them.
Giving it away isn't the answer either, unless the new owner will do the right thing. Otherwise nothing changes for the horse but the stress of a move.
It's not always about money. I have a dear friend who has rescued animals her whole life, like I have. She will feed any animal that turns up, and she takes great care of them. Until they need to be put down. She waits too long, I think. She just put a cat down at 3.5 pounds. She's like the people on here who look at a blind 3 legged horse with a deformed spine and think it might get better and complain about the LAOK. She has a heart of gold...she just can't let go.
@@Terry-lh8cn That should be a hundred percent illegal, that artificial leg program for horses. Horses are not like dogs or cats, they're not made to adjust to three legs. Whether it's the weight or the fact they're prey animals or some other factor they're not able to adjust and all it is is pure torture for the poor horses until they die a slow painful death.
I am absolutely thrilled that y'all were able to save EVERY horse at the auction 😃. It's just sooo exciting!! A family out in Arizona have the "Farm On Route 66" channel---and they'll do people the favor of taking in unwanted horses and trying to find them a good home. This last week they took in an old Paint that is supposedly a Tennessee Walker (do those come in Paint?). I watched their video on that horse's movements, and it made me wince. I'm no one qualified to evaluate a horse's health...but after seeing all these intakes for years now with your auction horses, you do learn some of what to recognize as unsoundness. It's so frustrating and heartbreaking. Thank you for continuing your work as best you're able, one horse at a time.
I ever wonder if there will be a time when I can’t watch these videos because it’s just too much to bare. But I believe that it’s my duty as a horse owner and as a human to see it as it is exactly and given Horse Rescue Plus doesn’t ever get to make that choice they work tirelessly to look after these horses after every auction. 🙏🙏👏👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺
It is awesome that y'all was able to save all of the horses at the auction, even if some of them have to have the Last Act of Kindness. I will never be able to wrap my head around those type of owners who can't seem to take proper care of their animals by doing that themselves cos that is part of their healthcare. They claim they love them but then dump them off and expect another person to do what they should have done .

That collection of pens in Dr Nancy’s hair 😅! I can relate! Who else?
A huge thank you to the sponsors who help with this horse rescue, truly THANK YOU. Robin
I'm glad glimmer is safe at your facility, as well as all the others. The paint pony is so pretty. And the mini mule is so cute 😍.
As always, thank you for everything you do for these beautiful animals.
I’m very happy to see that animals are being protected more and more every day
And that we are evolving to humans.
Great job you have a wonderful team of professional
Dr. Nancy is a rock star! She not only does the vet care, but loads horses and drives a trailer, too! I see her getting more comfortable in front of the camera and being more confident in her role. Great choice.
Oh it is so sad to think that some of the horses suffered in other sales.😢 I am so glad when you get them❤.
Dr. Nancy you know chatty is your cat 😅
Really missing Dr. Nancy. I hope she is happy in her life change.
I would love the baby cam back up too please.
So sorry to hear about your friend. We need all the people we can get to advocate for cruelty to all animals, everywhere. Thank you for what you all do.
so glad you were able to get ALL of the horses in the auction. So sorry about that poor dear with the dislocation. She's running free now!!
I just know that Tawny can walk tall in Clint's shoes because she has a great role to play in following an honorable advocate ❤She is one herself 🐎✌️♥️🌏🌎🌍🫵 Vaya con dios❤❤🥰
Thank you for ending their suffering I'm glad you got all the horses that were for sale . Great episode❤
I love that Dr Nancy went to the auction. Yay! She's such and angel and it's great that she could treat and administer medication if needed to help reduce suffering before they're transported. And every horse saved on this trip! Amazing.
So glad these horses and donkeys will have a second chance in life and in better care.
Watching Glimmer walk --- to this day, the effects of the big lick on his hindquarters is heartbreaking. The abusers would love to have that living evidence disappear.
Thank you for this great episode! And I am so happy for Kissimmee, going to her new home!!❤❤❤
Kissi has been adopted? How did I miss that?
Really? Was Stephanie's application approved? I hadn't heard anything about it. I'm very happy for Kissi, but sad for Candy to lose her buddy. I know Kissi wasn't all that fond of Candy, but Candy is bonded to her. Wonder if they'll give her a buddy?
I miss the mare cam and the Mare Crew.💗
@@HughLlewellyn Jason told us in the chat during the episode premiere. Kissi is going to her new home next week and Candy is in the training barn for halter training right now, so it will be eaasier for Dr Nancy to help her if she needs it. He said that after Candy is halter trained, she will be on the live babycam again. He didn´t say who the adopter was so I have no idea if it is Stephanie😊
@@karenduncan6004 Jason told us in the chat during the episode premiere
@@HughLlewellyn so do I miss it I’m happy for Kissi that she’s got her forever home but I sad that we won’t be seeing her on the baby cam I hope we get pics and updates when she has her baby
I hope Ginger surgery goes good for her and her leg gets better❤
I want to thank you all for devoting your lives for saving the lives of the horse breeds. I can't help in donating but I have been watching. God bless you all.
Wonderful... thank you some much for giving them the love and care they deserve.
Thank you God for these wonderful organizations and good people like HORSE PLUS HUMANE SOCIETY who TRULY care for the innocent. Please bless them always with good health and good lives and bless them with all they need to continue saving lives. In Jesus name Amen 🙏
I love watching this organization their work on all the animals they rescue are always, at their best when adopted, great job yall! from TEXAS
Tawnee, you are a grown woman. You can play that bubble game all you want to!
I was hoping she does play the bubble game and shows us her high score so we can compete but sadly she didn't 😁
Flea-bitten grey mare is stunning!
It's hard to lose a fellow fighter ... sending hugs ...
I am absolutely thrilled that y'all were able to save EVERY horse at the auction 😃. It's just sooo exciting!! I'm sad 🥺 that the poor grey mare had to be put down, but totally agree with Dr. Nancy's assessment. At least she knew love and kindness at the end. I love Dr. Nancy, but I can't lie....I miss seeing Doc❤️. Plus I always give props to most everyone, but I think I've forgotten to mention how awesome I think Kimberly is doing. Sorry.....I love you Kimberly and all you do! You are so helpful and are so kind to all the critters ❤️. They might be a little rough, but at least HP rescued everyone 🐴. Blessings to you all 🙌 Jennifer
You guys are such beautiful people..pure souls of God.
Time for you to carry on his legacy now 😊 makes me happy that there are people like you, ready to carry on the torch ❤ #bethevoice
Fantastic! That is fantastic. I wish that it could always happen
That was a beautiful episode! I am glad that Glimmer is safe!
I would give just about ANYTHING I had to be working with these beautiful animals again!!!!
This auction balances out last month's where there weren't as many issues. Ebb and flow...
Another amazing episode! This auction was really special. And I hope there are no serious health challenges or behavior issues with the pony. So sad about Clint´s passing - and grateful Tawnee will continue so that the abuse finally can end! It´s so nice to see Dr. Nancy working on the horses with so much care, patience and very, very diligent. Intakes now are for sure different! I really like when she explain things so I can get a deeper understanding.
Glimmer is so adorable and handsome and precious 💕I also love his eyes 😍❤️
Thank you for saving every previous life! May blessings rain down on you.
So much to do in an attempt to save these lives. Thank you for taking action and for sharing.🐴
Thank you! What a great team of people who really care! I applaud you all! 😊
I love horses but, the donkeys are my favorite. Especially the smaller ones❤
I am absolutely in LOVE with that little paint pony!!! Can't wait to see his journey!!
Oh Clant 😢 so sorry for a great loss .. keep fighting in his name .. it was what mattered the most to him ❤
Wow that’s amazing! Every horse that was sold I’m so impressed ❤❤❤ I love this organization ❤
That poor horse that you had to put down at the auction. Whoever brought it to the auction in that shape should be charged!!
I love watching this organization their work on all the animals they rescue are always, at their best when adopted, great job yall! from
It’s so cheering to see them canter…nd I hope there’s a horse heaven.
Blind horsie soo beautiful 😍 i hope feet will heal in time and will apear people who want to take that horsie ❤️❤️
Love the relaxed way you all are with each other... All team players👍😊
everything seems much more calm, and respectful than previous episodes..
You really got a great team.
Peace to Clint! Thank you for all your work.
You are so fortunate to have such a capable and knowledgable vet. I am so impressed with your team and how they work together.
Ill treating any animal is criminal and says a lot about the owner. Great work guys you are Angels taking and caring for those beautiful animals ❤
So glad Clants horse is going to y'all. I was curious.
You have the nicest, caring vets❤
Your Doctor is so lovely and Cory also. I m thinking that every persons who have horses take learn from their calm and loving behavior. Thanks also hole crew!
Great work indeed. Big lick is nasty I hope its gone forever very soon.
LG
I want a donkey! They're so cute and funny. Bless you for helping these poor souls.
Best caption ever 🐴🐎🦄🦓🙏🏼🕊
I wish there where more people
Like y'all your absolutely amazing 🌟
Wow you bought them all!!! If only tgat happened every time.
I hope there's a part 2. I didn't see the mostly white paint. So happy these horses are in your hands now. Glad you are continuing the fight against the big luck. What a great way to honor him and glimmer.
Bless you all!!! I saw them & some obviously need some food & care. ❤️🐎
I enjoy watching Cory work with the horses.
