- WWL-TV wanted to celebrate Fats Domino's life on what would have been his 90th birthday.
Domino died a few months earlier. Eric Paulsen remembered Domino and got a rare look inside of his home, a rare talk about his memories and a rare chance to hear him play - one last time.
Couldn’t imagine life without Rock N Roll, thank you Fats Domino.
I bet his baby pictures are pure gold
That smile when he sings..!
When he talks, he sounds just like he sings. We love this man dearly.
What a talented man he was.Unbelieveably humble.Being a Popeyes VIP is hilarious.

I love how Fats Domino's face just lights up the second he touches the piano! He should have a statue in NOLA!
Now that’s talent! Fats didn’t go onstage with a set list, he made it up as he went along!
I am a pianist and that's the best way!
WHT A STAR ,,,,, i saw him live in Montreal about 30 years ago , same night with Jeery lee lewis didnt want to play Great Balls of Fire , Fats i will never Forget RIP Amen

Eric, we do things in our life that people will talk about long after we're gone. Good job.
He was an entertainer, an excellent singer, very sweet and shy and just a great friendly guy. When he smiled, everyone else smiled. He had a smile that could light up a room and make the most miserable person smile. He truly is missed.
Fats your big smile i will never forget thanks a lot for everything you did in life!!!!!!!
Love Mr. Fats Domino. Fantastic singer and musician.
I think it's awesome that you still remember and honor your good friend like this...crazy how humble and down to Earth he stayed through it all...RIP Fats (PS) Fun fact, once at a press conference a reporter referred to Elvis as the "King of Rock" and he stated "No, that's my friend Domino:
You can tell Fats Domino was a good man just by the way he talked i would have been proud to have met him and even prouder to been his friend, R.I.P. Mr. Domino.

I salute you...? This is one of the stupidest comments i ever seen. SALUTE.. UNBELIEVABLE
I love you Antoine. Rip ❤❤
What an amazing person. RIP Fats 🖤
Love this!! Fats was so humbled. A down to earth kind of guy.. R.I.P. † Your music lives on.......forever. ♫♪♫

He's mine too. Bought "Ain't It A Shame' when it was first released in 1955 and have been his follower all these years. Was in New Orleans a few years ago and didn't realize how admired and loved this grand old 'Rock and Roller' was. RIP Fats.
Фэтс Домино гениальный музыкант! Лучший рокенрольщик 50-60 годов!))
Его можно слушать целые сутки без остановки!!! Его исполнение вызывает самые глубинные , самые лучшие мысли и чувства!

1st song I learned to play was Blueberry Hill. R.I.P. Family. Stopped by to see you in the 80's. But you weren't home. C.Bean is my cousin. We love you.❤
He was a down to earth guy on and off the stage may he rest in peace
MY GRANDMA LOVED FATS SO MUCH.
He just makes it look so easy! ... RIP!
I absolutely love his NEW ORLEANS accent. He definitely had some hits
Beautiful guy, so glad he lived a full long happy life, love him, just sorry I never saw him. I went to NOLA several times but never got to see him perform. ❤
I wish the reported would have asked about some stories with Fats and Elvis because Elvis himself said that this man was an inspiration to him. Elvis also called him the true king of Rock and Roll
I have always Loved His Songs. They always Cheered Me Up.
My older sister Louise loved Fat Donamo, back 55, like it too. Its teenage songs doing growing older young couple things. Its exciting
Would have loved to meet him and talk awhile like that. He seems so humble and down to earth.
Fats was a simple man, he never forgot where he came from. One of the nicest people you could ever imagine meeting in your life.
Now, that is nice journalism, thank you... it's honest, sincere and respectful..Well done
Guess what I have in my car disc player!? Yes! It's Fats Domino's Greatest Hits. Been listening and singing along to this man's music for more than 60 years. All of his children have names based on their dear father's name. Heard the first three chords of the song he played in the studio and nailed it "I'm Walkin' to New Orleans". Thank you Antoine for your help in keeping me grounded in music all of these many years 🎶🎶🎶
@9:45 now I understand why Fats and EP were friends. They were both shy humble folks where music happened to be their passion. Fats used to meet up with Elvis in Las Vegas when their schedules allowed. Whats interesting is how EP responded to being the King of Rock and Roll, a title he quickly dismissed. He pointed to this man right here, Fats Domino. RIP Fats and EP thanks for the music.
How I miss the main man,my hero of rock n roll.😢
Watching this just made my day too.
Is nog lang doorgegaan met optreden! De trompettist werd grijs!! Applaus!! 😎😎😎😎
The greatest of all time
Love his music
He dont even look that old.... dam
Fats Domino it doesn't get any better than that bless 🙏✨
Miss Fats, what a legend...
I can't believe that Fats didn't think he looked good on TV he was very charismatic!!!
It was early 1960's, at the Peppermint Beach Club on Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach...
I wasn't just there, I was front row 'bout 4' from the end of his keyboard!
One of the greatest.
An absolute American Treasure...
Seem like he is shy And hes a very nice man
Love that great smile.
He was great! A gentleman...
What a wonderful man the stories you can tell you God-bless you fat
My Blueberry Hill man! I love him
ROCK AND ROLL FOREVER 50 S
Natural born talent it was in him
A National Treasure !
The man is ,was quality
Pay attention all you young kiddos trying to make a living in music, Fats said it himself, He played what the audiemce wanted to hear. Today, bands play what they want to hear, not what the public wants to hear.
His voice is like an instrument
Fun watching
EVERYBODY loves Fats Domino!
Elvis really liked Fats Domino too.
My Chevrolet panel van is named “The Fat Man” in honor of his nickname and first hit “The Fat Man” :D
Eric and fats became good friends
The one that influenced Elvis Presley.
Katrina took a toll on Fats. Bless his Big Lovely heart.
Fats is New Orleans.
That’s a fact.
Never met him, but I miss him
