as a tall person myself I think Noel forgot that seats can be adjusted with a magic lever which is normally located at the base of the seat (unless its electric)

This tale is hilarious and priceless! The two of you have inspired me to take my wife and our 4 year old great granddaughter on a day trip from Honolulu to Kaua'i just for the hell of it. Our flights, though, would be only 25 minutes each way. Little One has been clamoring to play with her cousin again, so we'll go torment relatives there! It'll be her first plane ride.
Only you would go from flying first class with virgin to lax to flying Ryanair from east midlands😂

With budget airlines, you know what you're signing up for, A-B muck. They do however take safety very seriously and that's what is most important really.
Using a lounge when flying Ryanair just seems so wrong!
That's why I love doing it!
I always do it. It is normally cheaper than the 5 quid for a coffee on board haha

Pilot Reid It’s because you probably flew from a country part of the Schegen area, where there are no passport controls (open borders) between member countries. The UK is not part of Schengen.
I've boarded a Ryanair flight and disembarked from it via a jet way in gran canaria
In Mallorca I’ve never used a gate and I go once a year at least
I'm from San Diego in the USA; a couple years ago my parents and I ALMOST did the same thing when we flew up to Portland, Oregon (about the same distance as from East Midlands Airport to Mallorca) to watch the solar eclipse. We ended up flying back the next day (afternoon of Eclipse Day).
Love the vast contrast between the amazing cuisine Noel was served on Singapore Airlines and.....Ryanair’s pizza and fries. That’s partly why his videos are so enjoyable, such variety.

@@anonymousthanks4718 Not necessarily. You can see that the beard in the scene at East Midlands before take off was pretty much the same as when he got back. But the scene where he dropped the kids at school must have been taken on another day, indeed.

Excellent. I remember about 20 years ago Scandinavian airlines had cheap Saturday day shopping trips to from Scandinavia to London and Paris. 'Shop at Oxford street, have lunch and be back home well in time for dinner or see a musical as well and be home for bedtime'.
I think they even had a luxury option of Business class day trips for those who desired that.
Nothing like wifey bashing Ryanair for giving you flights for £15 each way safe and sound! I feel like even if they were free flights people would still find something to complain about!! Haha- nonetheless really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!
RyanAir are great for short flights. Who needs luxury on a 1 or 2 hour flight? The food generally is crap but their ham and cheese panini was very nice. Just pack your own lunch or eat before or after the flight.

From Maidstone to Liverpool via Amsterdam, and now a day trip to Majorca- this is why I love Inflight Video!
My partner found a return flight two weeks ago on Ryanair from Stansted to La Rochelle in France for £5.98 each! We got free parking at the airport (I won't say how!), and we walked from La Rochelle airport to the city centre, it took just 55 minutes and was a lovely walk. I found a nice hotel in the centre for about £45. We only stayed one night, but it was a great and cheap trip!
Neil Uk - I did a similar trip last year - however I did have to pay for the parking - and it cost more than the flight! It was a great trip!
Great video, Noel! I like the idea of walking around and seeing the local offerings, it would be great to see you incorporate this type of thing into more content. Great to see you and your wife doing well!
great idea - I used to do this a lot using Easyjet from Luton - Day trips to Copenhagen/Malmo, Amsterdam, Paris, Belfast, Dublin and Edinburgh - really good way to have a great day out.

When I went to Tenerife I couldn't find any Spanish restaurants. Lots of Italian and Chinese restaurants and British pubs where you could order Fish & Chips, Irish Stew or Bangers and Mash. But not a tapas restaurant in sight.

He made it to East Midlands at like 7am so unless his kids go to school at like 5am then it wouldntve been possible anyway

Ive been doing what you do for a few months now trying to fly with as many airlines as possible and as many aircraft as possible and i cannot wait for my 18th birthday next month so i can buy a priority pass!! Love the vids Noel
High-larious .... your as nuts as me. I was on a trip to London, UK from Toronto. I decided to do a day trip from London Gatwick airport to Venice Marco Polo airport. I left my hotel in London at 5:45 a.m. and spent about 7 hours in sunny Venice, Italy. Got back to my hotel around midnight. It was worth it but exhausting. I flew with Easyjet.
conspiracy69 same tbh I flew From my local Airport Birmingham Airport on Ryanair to sunny Malaga at 6:30 in the morning stayed in Malaga all day and got a Ryanair flight back home at 9 o’clock in the night and landed back at Birmingham for 10:30 so it was worth it but was very tiering

I used to fly Ryanair twice a week, but lately I try to avoid them. They are getting more and more expensive, and I hate the way how they treat their staff.
My cousin wasn’t even provided with gloves or dish soap to wash up when he worked for them

That hat should have been left in Mexico. It's not an example of Spanish hats. You should have on a Spanish Bolero hat. BTW, I've flown on Ryan Air from Valencia, Spain to Rome Italy on the last seats on the plane. We had a Spanish Catholic priest sit in the middle seat and we talked the entire flight. 🙂🙏

Ralph short When you head to Spain from England, you head over France which has the alps. France is close ish to Spain so probably went over alps (I wasn’t sure tbh I had to google it lol)
I agree if your flying over far north east of France /Austria/ Italian area but surely the flight would take southern route over the Pyrenees?

@@Aviatial It was the pyrenees mountains which take up a majority of the French-Spanish border. The Alps are Switzerland, Austria and bits of Italy.
What a gift to be situated in Europe where a dozen countries are an hour's flight away. From my home in the US the closest country (Bahamas) is nearly a 4 hour flight!
But the US is like a big continent to be fair where each state is thr size of a country with its own culture.
Here in the EU, countries are not countries but states that use the same currency and don't require visas, so it's basically like the US where we fly from one state to another

I hate how much people hate ryanair, but what they have to realise is that it is a highly low budget airline
Except it's not always low budget to get a seat. Some Ryanair fares are as expensive as any other airline.

Ryanair isn't the best airline I've flown with (not the worst either though) but it gets me to see the love of my life for under £10 each way so I'm not going to complain. It's very simple, easy and it gets me where I need to be. If you look at it like that then it's fine

You must have quite a few air miles to just hop over to Spain for lunch. Furthest I’ve gone for lunch is Tallinn (from Helsinki), just 2 hours on the ferry.

Mijas near Fuengirola is where they sell straw donkeys. It is a tradition from there.

I fly with Ryanair 4 times a year for the past 5 yrs,a couple of minor delays but that’s about it.They offer cheap fares and many destinations for the masses.

highly recommend a place called Cala d'Or in majorca, has plenty of little beaches, quiet but not too quiet, family friendly, especially at an Inturotel resort, love it there
