I love these approaches to school. Our kids need more focus on people skills, instead of being buried in their phones. This was such a powerful presentation! I'll be following to see where this goes @CoryHenwood

Cory Henwood builds the strong rationale for why and how schools must change to accommodate the emerging needs of tomorrow's workforce. He references the relevant facts and current thought leaders to invite innovation into schools and schooling.

Thank you, Cassandra, although I didn't quote you directly in this talk, your work as a thought leader in this space has certainly influenced mine.

Outstanding information and perspective! I agree entirely and want to see the change. For society to keep moving forward we need to see change and presentations like this will help that change happen. Corey, you will become the catalyst for educational reform.

Thanks Todd for your support and efforts to do the same in your classroom. I am very grateful for your help in the design of our new school, Launch High School, trying to implement these ideas. We will ride this wave in the future together.

Good to see you on here as a fellow educator, Cory. You and your committee have come up with some great ideas. A lot of these ideals are the reason I love being an IB educator. Skills based education is clearly the key, however, public and private sector education are ham-stringed by the requirements of post secondary admission requirements.

Awesome presentation, Cory. And great to connect with a fellow Canuck. I love seeing those eight essential skills on which your school district is focusing. Would love to hear more how this is playing out in your district.
