You make it look so easy! Ive got a dent in almost the same spot on my tesla. I just cannot get between brace and skin - the tool tip is only a mm thick - any advice? Thanks!!
@@dentdetailpdr it's a 23 Y. Went in the same way as in your video. I even put a snake camera in there and the brace hugs the body line...no way in with a tool that I can tell. Perhaps US models are different? Have to resort to glue pull but that last little center of the dent just won't budge from the body line. Perhaps I'll have to pack the door in a suitcase and come visit! :) cheers!
Hi there, I got a small dent on the back right door of my tesla m3 and went to the car repair shop and, unfortunately, it looks now worst than before. Before there was a ca 1,5 height light dent but now there are lots of small dents around. I cant believe that I cant repair this so I need an opinion from another expert. Can you please help me on this? I could send you an image to check. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Hello Friend!! I have a question, hot glue could have been an option to reduce the damage and then go in with the rod to finish it? o was very risky, very good video! It turned out perfect, thanks for sharing, greetings from Mexico!!✌🏼
Hi Neto thanks for the comment and watching the video! Glue wouldn’t of been of benefit, as we can get good access from underneath, and it would be quicker to push it out, glueing it would of mean we spent more time opening up the dent, and being aluminium would of took a lot longer. Also the paintwork was scratched, and not knowing how deep it was until the dent was pushed out, could of resulted in the paint lifting away if we glued it. Thank you for the question!
@@dentdetailpdrTHANKS…what I needed to know. Got a dent on the pax side rear door of my brand new Model Y😢 Bought a glue pull device from RUclips and watching your video wondered if I bought the wrong thing. I’ll heat up the panel tomorrow and try the glue pull🤞

Thank you, it would be depend which year model and which angle you are going in to repair the dent, the tool choice is key too

Nice work, not sure why you did not go down the window. Are they laminated glass? Never work on a Tesla.
There is no access down the window, thr bracxe blocks it off from that area, so you have to go up from underneath
Possible to fix such a dent from outside using glue sticks?
Hi thanks for watching, dents like this can be glue pulled from the outside giving the paintwork is in good condition with no chips or scratches
