OMG, I had the hardest time figuring it out and was thinking that something is wrong with my iron - no matter what I did, the hair came out straight! Well no more. Here are the steps: 1. Clamp the hair lightly, then twirl the hair all the way around in the direction you want. 2. THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!!! DON"T MISS THIS!!! Now, turn your curling iron TWICE (not once) downward, making the hair strand facing you, like a dog's tongue. 3.Pull down, towards the hair strand, all the way down. 4.If you want tighter curls, you can go, stop, and go, stop while going down (pulling your iron through).

After watching countless videos and buying 3 high end flat irons. And the buying the beach waver I finally figured out how to curl my hair with any flat iron by watching your video. It is the only video out of at least the 50 I have watched that explained it so well with the turn of the wrist with having the end come thru the bottom. Thank You. Girls with curly hair want straight hair because it's to puffy and it's annoying and really difficult to untangle. And girls with straight hair want curly hair because you can't do a thing to your hair like get it curly because they won't last. (from my friends' experiences).

I just bought a straightening iron from my local state fair after a stylist offered to curl my hair and it cost me about 200 dollars. I LOVE when my hair is curled but in the past I could never do it right because of my thick, very layered, frizzy hair so I'm definitely going to be using your tutorial while I test my new iron out! The good thing is that it straightens well so if I mess up the first attempt I can easily go over it 2 times and it'll be straight. Your tutorial is going to help me a lot I think! (:

I've been doing mines for a while I just wanted to see what products would hold the end look. But a common mistake is when you get to the left side of your hair your still using the technique for the right side turn away from your head to the left

I've been doing mines for a while I just wanted to see what products would hold the end look. But a common mistake is when you get to the left side of your hair your still using the technique for the right side turn away from your head to the left

It’s crazy to me how I saw this video when I was sooo you and it’s what got me to more beauty related videos , when I saw this I was soo you and so happy when I learned to do this my hair was so burned from waking up at 5 an every single day to do this to my hair and makeup for school.
