Lower the temperature. Twist and hold it slightly and pull it right away. Don't hold the twisted section of your hair too long. Just pull it right away. If your hair aren't thick then 240' should be find or lesser 180'

I keep coming back to your great tutorial. You're right we do overcomplicate things. I bought a flat iron to curl my hair and it's still a learning curve. When I go back to a curling iron, I find the flat iron is easier. I guess practice makes perfect!

Mine's actually not that hot, but if it's too hot, hold the hair instead of the straightener as you are pulling. But you would still need to touch it a bit when you are doing your full turn with your straightener, just do it fast lol

Thank you very much! It does take some practice to adjust with one side. Sometimes it's easier having the straighter come from the top, but sometimes from the bottom, try it out.
