I've dated numerous alcoholics and people with substance abuse issues. It isn't fun , it's toxic and nothing changes or if it does, the damage has already been done to you and to them. Emotionally,physically ect. Seeing someone change right before your eyes like night and day is extremely painful and scary. One of my exs I dated for 3 years was a violent drunk, he also had bi polar disorder with schizoaffective tendencies and let me just say the love I have for him will always be there but it gets to a point where your mental health and safety is important too so I can see where Angelina is coming from. They have children as well so that just makes things sooooo much more difficult.

It's a work in progress for both and some of that progress for me was leaving and realizing I shouldn't be treated that way. Since many of them have mental illness and alcoholism/addiction I felt guilty for leaving, like they needed me and I loved them too and wanted to make sure they were going to be ok but not taking care of my needs and self in the process.

It's classic Financial abuse, he knew that all of her funds and cash were tied up in the winery. So he stalled on the sale and spent the wineries money frivolously and without her consent in a bid to control her finances and therefore control her. I believe Angelina and I believe the kids.

If someone fails to acknowledge what they've done and in addition to that blame-shifts to make themselves out to be the injured party and/or is still making life difficult for you, you aren't just dealing with the initial offense anymore, it's a ongoing thing (and ongoing problem) that keeps the wound open and raw.

I am team Jolie Pitt Always. I just always thought she was one of the best things to happen to him. All this public display with the media is unfair to the entire Jolie Pitt Family. Yeah I’m personally over the drama and find myself avoiding these type of stories. We don’t know them, nor they know those of us giving our opinions on them. Even exist what happened to reporting on the movies, new albums, books, concert/live performances from the red carpet etc as far as pop culture entertainment. Now it’s salaciousness, gossip fodder, & drama, drama, drama…. 😑

I merely commented on the fact that I grew up loving both actors and that choosing one side is as difficult as choosing between the love of my two parents. Regardless of whether either of them are guilty of abuse, it doesn't make witnessing their downfall all that much easier. And I can only imagine how some of Brad and Angela's kids are feeling right now given that they grew to love both figures as parents. Btw, you can love/feel sad for someone close and hate them at the same time, especially if they've done something wrong to you. And it's not an admission of sympathy and acceptance of a person's misdeeds if you cry about their fall from grace; 9/10 people who are sad about the actions of evil loved ones are actually sad about the death of the image, love, and respect they've so innocently held for those people beforehand. Humans are freaking nuanced and complex like that- get over yourself. Also, unless you're the very jury that will examine all the evidence and pass down judgment on the guilt or innocence of Brad Pitt, I would advise that you don't make your speculations and opinions of this case as a matter of fact. We don't know everything that happened and we can't rush to conclusions or start spreading hate campaigns over scattered pieces of testimony. I thought the Amber Heard v. Johnny Depp trial taught you better than that😑

She could have made this very simple by just letting him buy her out Since she says she doesn't wanna be associated with alcohol & is blaming Brad & alcoholism But I really feel like she has made Multiple false allegations against him I'm sure there was an incident that upset her but she's dragged this out for like 10 years now and as a mother you should always put your children 1st and not make the divorce so contentious and Allow the children to have a good relationship with their father especially because he adopted Maddox and adopted the other children together in addition the children they had together through natural conception, so she's just really not looking great in all this! Even though she's done a ton of humanitarian work what matters is how you handle your own family and personal relationships and she needs to take a look in the mirror because he has not calculated any smear campaign against her in anyway or attacked her character during all this time, so I really think she needs a reality check!
