Edu Falasci (The singer) is great, but he's not the original. I HIGHLY recommend that you find out about Andre Matos (RIP).

Not the original lineup but great review. Aquiles (drummer) was born in South Africa but his parents are Brazilians (went there for work). Aquiles stayed there until 5 yo. In Brazil, most are descendants of Europeans but we also have descendants of Africans, Middle East, Chinese and Japanese (we have the largest japanese community outside of Japan)...There are many ethnicities! That said, brazilians are mixed with different ethnicities. I'm portuguese descendant and my wife is japanese descendant hahaha.

So... I think in the comments people kinda explained enough. But Brazil is a huge as hell. basically 2/3 of Russia. So depending where you from people kinda guess witch state you were born. Accents change A LOT as well. The South is very German/Italian/Slavic. My wife is Polish and we went to Brazil (in the south). Me and her family. Nobody by Look could guess she wasn't Brazilian. If you guys go to the south for instance, nobody will think you are not Brazilians. It is easier to recognize a non Brazilian by the clothes than by the looks!

Angra have some classical influences on the guitar and they essentially play european power metal,thus, they sound very European.This isn't by the way the original singer,the original was Andre matos who unfortunately died in 2019.Angra is good, but I think they were better when they were called Viper and released two very good albums in 1987 and 1989, Soldiers Of Sunrise and Theatre Of Pain respectively, when they were only teens.Similar to Angra, but more heavy, more metal than them.

One little correction: Angra and Viper are two different bands, although André Matos was Viper vocalist since 85, and then left the band in 1990 to focus on his musical degree. And then he met Rafael Bittencourt while they were both at University, and that's when Angra was formed.

This vocalist was very important for the band Edu Falaschi, but you should listen to the first vocalist's version, look for Shaman - Carry On Andre Matos, his best performance with this song. Rip André Matos! Even watch Shaman's song - Fairy Tale live Andre Matos, he will surprise you, one of the best vocalists to ever walk the earth.

As you mentioned several times the looks of Edu Falaschi (who is of north italian ancestry, as you can see by his surname), I guess you got curious by it.
Just for a start, notice that Dom Pedro II, Emperor of Brazil (and brother to the Portuguese Queen), was son of Portugal's Crown Prince with Austrain Princess Marie Leopoldine, a Habsburg.
Back in 1824, Dom Pedro I and Marie Leopoldine wanted to populate southern Brazil, which was quite devoid of population at the time and open for invasion from neighboring countries.
Thus, they opened Brazil to German Immigration. In the 1870s, it was the time of Italians, mostly from North Italy unlike the US, who got mostly Southern Italians.
There was also POLISH, UKRAINIAN and RUSSIAN immigration in the early 20th century, as well as Syrian Lebanese, Japanese, etc.
