  • Strangest Things VFX Project | Final Result + VFX Breakdown for Stranger Things Cinematic Universe
In this video, I showcase the final VFX shot inspired by Stranger Things, along with a detailed breakdown of how the effect was achieved. This project was part of my work at Alpha Chromatica, where I aimed to seamlessly blend a screen burn-in shot into the eerie, 1980s world of Stranger Things.
The shot features dramatic lighting shifts, glitching effects, and period-specific props like a Sony Trinitron TV and oscilloscopes, all designed to raise the stakes in an alternate storyline where a new character, David, tries to save Jim Hopper from the Demogorgon.
Watch the final result, followed by a breakdown of the key compositing techniques used to bring the shot to life.
If you're a VFX artist or just curious about cinematic visual effects, this video will give you a glimpse into how storytelling and technical expertise come together.
