plastic hearts was good!!! felt like what we had been anticipating from her for a long time. glad she’s happy with her new music.

same!
It’s BANGERZ
ikr!
Wish I liked it. I want more.
I don't think Miley cares about numbers anymore, she just cares about making art
Yep, most of today's pop stars are getting like that. I understand, because I myself is starting to not care. I'm around the same age as most of the popular girls today, who showing they no longer care if it's well received. Taylor with folklore, Grande's positions, Dua Future nostalgia, Gaga Chromatica, & Katy smile, Now Miley with Plastic hearts.
I think that’s how it should be
That's true, nobody cares about making a body of work anymore even mj said it himself. People just chase hits that's all
Taylor makes art, and top the charts as well. I think that people aren't interested on her music anymore.
@@zairnermuller4960 people aren’t interested because she didn’t follow the hype after Bangerz. She had a long period of time away from the mainstream music scene
Plastic Heart's is her best Album for sure. So Nostalgic But Fresh. She's killing it.
Plastic hearts and bangerz
it sounds like grown hannah montana with the pop rock, i loved it
@@vanhohenheim3589 Bangerz was setted up to second place on my list, as Plastic Heart's depth lyrics won my heart. Even so, Bangerz will always be a landmark in POP culture and a wonderful time full of hits that brightened my days 🖤
@@coreynmarie not every song for me, but I get what are you saying. They were some songs that reminded me of Hannah Montana in best way possible. Like you said it... A grow Hanna lol but definitely in the Miley freaking Cyrus 28 year old way haha
For me, Miley cyrus and her deadpetz is the BEST album from her
I'm digging her 80s inspired new shit.
Her voice just fits it so well!
But everyone is doing 80s. Does no one else notice this?
@@kevinrudy nostalgia, it just works.
@@tochukwuudu7763 not when it's an overload and it becomes the only trend in music. Like with the the 80s.
And chromatica
It's kind of insane that we got so many albums in 2020 that are literally the perfect songs to dance and sing along to in a club or a party in the one year that noone is allowed to be in one. anyways back to binging " (song) but you're in a club bathroom" videos at 2 am alone in my room lol
honestly! some of the best albums in the past few years have been released last year or this year
We love irony 😌
whenever the world seems to be in a dark place, the entertainment (movies, music, etc) just gets better to compensate for the lack of excitement/happiness
Facts🤌🏼💅
Facts!!! 😂
Just want to mention that she didn’t “decide to scrap” the other EPs that she planned; her house burned down with her masters inside it which was really unfortunate. Love this album and her growth as an artist, but I’m also disappointed we will never get to see that work.
Alonso No longer relevant because going through the loss all of her belongings (including the music) and her marriage surely changed her and put her in a different place in her life. I was pointing out that saying they were scrapped makes it sound like it was strictly her choice not to release the music that she had put tons of work into. That is not the case and disregarding the circumstances that led to her not releasing that work is upsetting.
@@AlecRyan0 but she said that most of it was saved with her collaborators, but it just didn't seem right anymore. the fires that destroyed her home happened before she even released the first EP. Some of the songs that were originally for that project were reworked and are on Plastic Hearts.
@Lauren Lamas I’m not going to speak for her, but Miley said that her work was lost in the fire. Whatever her collaborators had were not final cuts, they would have been copies or raw recordings. Final cuts are due months in advance before release so it’s fair to assume that the first EP was finished around the time of the fire. Once again, I’m not here to speak for her or her intentions, I’m simply pointing out that not acknowledging the conditions that led to her not releasing that work is disappointing.
The EPs were announced way after her house burned down, she has access to all that music.. She simply decided not to release all of those tracks. Never Be Me, Bad Karma, and Golden G String were all made for the EPs and were still released on Plastic Hearts. Same with Slide Away.
A few songs from the unreleased EP that leaked are actually on Plastic Hearts.
Miley has always been into rock, and has for example covered Nirvana as early as in 2011, so she’s not new to this genre. Plastic Hearts feels very authentic indeed, it’s a really good body of work.
SHe definitely has the voice, it’s very unique
I loved her cover of dont dream it’s over with Ariana. They killed it but Miley’s voice definitely fit the song more.
@@patrickbatemangigafemcell6565 what the fuck do you think grunge is? A subgenre of rock lmao. Grunge is pretty influenced by punk rock. Notice the word rock? Besides, any form of heavier instrumentals can be considered rock music
@@salvat0re yes ok but miley cyrus is not rock nor grunge cmon like 😂😂😂
@@patrickbatemangigafemcell6565 ok? I wasn't commenting on that lol. And whether she's a rock artist or not is irrelevant. This album def has pop rock vibes to it.
when she said "SHE IS COMING"and : *SHE. CAME.*
Plastic Hearts was one of the best album releases this year, and I really hope Miley starts getting the recognition, accolades and praise she deserves.
Hope she gets Grammy nods or possibly win 1 or 2 at the 2022 Grammys
She is quite famous but the last couple of years people focused more on her love life than her music. Also, the fact that so many people bashed her and made her up to be the bad guy in the marriage while no one knows the complete story (and both of them saying they root for each other and being thankfull for the time spent together).
Plastic Hearts is such an evolution for her. Miley has never stayed the same in one era. I think the album is one of her best
You mean the best? The others were mostly trash.
@@somethung8188 notice how no one agrees with you
@@Purplestream15 Too bad. Honesty is still the best policy
Her career is the most sagittarius thing ever
Fr she’s the epitome of a Sagittarius
Honestly lol I listened to her latest interviews and kept thinking “wow she is rlly is the carbon copy of her natal chart”. Constantly reinventing herself, kind of a workaholic, really introspective, very fiery. She’s definitely a force of her own.

Miley Cyrus Is One Of My Favorite Artists Of this Generation. If not for Bangerz than there would be no Sweetener or Revival.
@Sam And Tell Me You Love Me by Demi Lovato
Sweetener has nothing to do with Bangerz....wtf
no way you just said sweetener....exit yourself please....
@@chattisr No♥ still love sweetener tho.
Oof!
Miley is an artist that doesn’t stick to one genre, I really like her voice tone, she is one of the best artist of her generation, in my opinion.
MILEY JUST BECAME AN ICONIC LEGEND
SHE JUST DID THAT
She became an icon since bangerz, that was revolutionary
Define iconic...
@@heroheart312 plse tell me why you're here
excuse me she has been iconic since hannah montana
@@user-fu5cd8bp1v just now she added legendary for me, but ya right an icon she has always been forsure
Miley is an artist like no other, she knows how to maneuver through her career so swiftly. This album is her greatest project to date. It's so damn addictive. It takes you places of all sorts. Many influences and styles were incorporated. And it makes the listening experience so wholesome and nostalgic but still fresh and expensive.
BANGERZ ERA MILEY FELT LIKE A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT. And it worked.
So true!!
I didn't like her music that much before, but this album is right up my alley. Love plastic hearts, wtf do i know and gimme what i want
The album is what we’ve been waiting for her to do in years!!!!
A Turtle approves this video.
You have a good taste! I saw you earlier today on Amanda's video I think
We stand a turtle periodt
Lol
A pony grace replies to a turtle
A Child approves this video as well
Honestly, I’m so happy with the way artist simply don’t care about being mainstream or not these days! A perfect example is MGK with his album “Tickets to my downfall”, Taylor with “Folklore” and now Miley. This album is AMAZING, she delivers the vocals, feelings, lyrics, production, features, everything. And it completely fits her unapologetic self.
also keep in mind that she took part in writing all of the songs in the album !! she literally opened her soul to us i love this era so much the album is so great !
It's been 7 years since her last successful era and it's been 3 since her last kinda successful single (malibu) so I'm not surprised why the album didn't sell that well. But it has decent amount of streams and there's a plenty of days left for us to stream harder (please). Hopefully this era will be successful cause this album is definitely Album of the Year material along with Future Nostalgia and Folklore.
Malibu was a big hit. It was on the radio everywhere. Younger Now as a single did okay too. Nothing Breaks Like a Heart was a massive radio hit, same goes with Midnight Sky.
@@lizzle95 Yea and like honestly at this point why do people care so much about the numbers? She is coming was arguable really put together and showed immense artistic growth which leads us right to Plastic hearts which is a great body of art. #1 singles or not Miley will still being live a better life than most of us and at least we're seeing great growth and artistic vision from her.
@@fuzzzzilian With all the radio hits she's having I don't think we need to worry about her wallet or fame lol. She's doing great and I dislike how people got so obsessed with streams and numbers for artists that are clearly famous and popular. Not getting a #1 =/ flopping. Charting in itself is already a great accomplishment many artists dream of
"Last successful era"?????? Lmao good joke. Clearly you only look at numbers as being "successful"
@@deepakmenon6720 yeah because numbers are the receipts of their impacts like number of sales, number of streams and number of radioplays. Cause what else would you base it's success? By how beautiful their album covers were? lol
Miley has never cared about #s and that’s good since she was raised humbled and to just put great art
She grew up privileged and with her father's network in the music industry; from that starting point, it's easy to not care about numbers and just focus on the art. The result can be great but let's still not forget that she never came from the bottom
@@lima9212 no one said she came from the bottom😹 she’s said her mom was adopted and her dad was homeless. they worked hard to get where they were. Miley obviously had an advantage and was raised to care for others etc. she never has try hard at doing something just to please the audience.
@@edwiinxox9611 I was more referring to the "was raised humble"; just from the standard of living and the advantageous access to the goodies of life, it doesn't strike me as a humble upbringing, just from a societal point of view
@@lima9212 Miley always mentioned how grateful she is to have her advantages. Humble upbringing doesn't just mean starting from nothing. I think the person meant even though she still had everything, she has never bragged about it and never acted like she was better than everyone because of it. Thanks to her parents and family.
@@sandracastanon5164 Mh yeah maybe it's really just about semantics. I think a person can certainly be humble no matter how they grew up, but their upbringing itself, in my understanding, describes the socioeconomic context and the resources they had access to. I could never describe a millionaire's upbringing as humble, even though that person might still be humble in character
*"Plastic Hearts" is a masterpiece!* 🖤👩🏻🎤🔥
She really can sing and has ideas to share
her cover of zombie was incredible, and both prisoner and dead petz are both incredibly underrated
The album is so so good, I’m in love. This month has been such a great month in music, first Ariana Grande drops her album, then Megan thee Stallion and now Miley Cyrus, god I’m so happy
And also Little Mix and Bring Me The Horizon. You can check their albums. You will not regret.

@@coneyisland5843 I’m not really a huge Taylor fan, her music never really spoke to me, but she is really talented!
I showed my mom a few of the songs (without telling her it was Miley) and she thought it was something from the 80s but when I told her it was Miley it was in disbelief but actually liked the album.
"Rock looks extremely authentic on her" - i couldn't agree more
I’ve been a fan of Miley Cyrus since I was a child. She’s so creative and amazing 🤩
The way u were tweeting about this album, I knew you'd make a video.

Haven’t watched the video yet but I love Miley, even during her wild side and I’ll keep on loving her. Her music is amazing no matter the sound and she’s unapologetically herself.
I love her new look, it's like a mixture of Madonna and Joan Jett to me.
I was thinking that
I slept on this album until I listened to Midnight Sky last night, I’m obsessed to say the least. One of the only 80s revival songs I would give an A/A+(there’s another song too but it’s by a different artist). I will probably end up listening to the whole album fairly soon because I like what I’m hearing so far.
Her best since bangerz and maybe better. I wish she did some more rock tho.
Girl no dead petz better get the credit it deserves
This album is exactly what I've been waiting for her to release for so long it is so good, one of the best released this year and definitely her best
Bruh i love how versatile she is...
She is so weirdly underrated.
I mean, everyone knows her but like... still. I cannot explain.
She's more seen as just a pop star when she deserves more than that. She stands out from all the other singers who came from Disney.
Gimme me want I want. My absolute favourite right now
It’s so great. I think it could be a little longer though
I wasn't always a fan of her but I was so shocked by Plastic Hearts Especially Midnight Sky Its my absolute favorite My mom HATES her but she just cant resist dancing a little when Midnight Sky comes on
SAME HAHA
my mom loves her, there was even a point in time where i stopped listening to miley but my mom would always want me to play her music. so glad i got back into her!! plastic hearts
The disco comeback really brought out the best of Miley! This sound suits where she is now, it's clear to see she loves mixing retro style with modern perspectives. I love her for that. Her new album has so many good songs, i really wonder how much singles we'll get
Her new album is so good
I love Miley. She's impressive.
I love your avatar :)
plastic hearts is such an amazing album, miley's so comfortable in these songs while still showing vulnerability and having so much fun. This collection of songs is one for the ages. EVERYONE GO STREAM PLASTIC HEARTSSSSSSSS
This album really feels like she has finally found her correct aesthetic, both image-wise and vocally. The sound and vibe of this music totally match her vocals and personality to a tee.
i feel like she's been blessing me my whole life, from hannah montana to this album
I was just saying honest needs to make a video about Miley😂
I was really waiting for it, you know😂
She's a complete badass
I love that she can master any genre
I’m so proud of her. Honestly. Give her good vibes, everyone, please. The Blondie covers and heartfelt lyrics feel like healing. It feels like she’s achieved something. She’s seems so authentically herself right now and I adore it. Keep it up Miley! Appreciated you since HM! 💜
This album is a masterpiece, all of the songs are awesome. I feel so happy that Miley found the best genre to dive into
Plastic Hearts was amazing, and by far one of the best albums she's done! I was shocked that she collabed with three iconic 80's musicians.
Honestly I've been waiting for this one
She warned us "I might even be a rockstar"
Sorry Not Sorry: Plastic Hearts is the best album release in the last 2 years(my personal favorite is still Rare(deluxe tho)...PERIODT!!!!!! Say what you want but Miley is shown her versatility.
Oh that’s why people cant pinpoint which genre she’s in. Shes truly inspiring and versatile, amazing
I feel like this album is her most authentic one. It really feels like her. Most of her other albums always seemd to have those shock factors because she wanted to get out of her disney image etc, but this one doesn't do that. It's so personal and it fits her so well, so much better than any of her other albums. It really feels like miley herself. I'm so glad she went this way and was able to give us such a great body of work.
I honestly love the rock turn she's been making lately. it's her calling
i'm loving Plastic Heart good bops and enjoying the vocals
Her newest album is a daily bop for me ❤ the depth is amazing and as someone that has been in a toxic relationship, the album hits even harder to my traumatized ears
I love every song on the album but my favorites are Angels Like You, High, and Night Crawling. This whole era is incredible so far. I'm so happy for Miley!
plastic hearts sounds like the perfect evolved continuation to 'cant be tamed' that we all were waiting for
I cry so damn hard when I hear "Angels Like You".
plastic hearts will age like the finest of wines
Make a video for RINA SAWAYAMA!!!!
YESSS
i’m so glad Miley is doing what she wants now, it feels like it comes from a more genuine place and her voice really suits it.
I’m so glad you loved this because it really fricken spoke to me
angels like you, plastic hearts, midnight sky and WTF :) but will probably change once I listen to it more! all in all, really enjoying the album as a whole
I played this album 14 times today and here I am starting my 15th listen with 0 regrets. Miley did that!
Bad Karma is my fav track. For me its also her best album so far.
ily but the way you say “woman” as “waman” is killing me 😭😂
I swear, I think trust you music judgement more than my own. Love your videos ❤️🙏🏻
Miley is a true artist. She experiments some of which works others don’t. But when it does work it explodes. This is her best album. She can literally switch any genre and make it her own. No one can do that. It’s all her incredible voice and the fact she just wants to be an artist and not a famous money machine.
_Plastic Hearts_ is her best album yet! Sadly, she is still super underrated and doesn't receive enough recognition or praise. Miley has always cared about what and when _she personally_ wants to release, and that's something I admire due to her authenticity, but hurt her career in the long run. She would be a lot bigger now had she released more commercially-friendly music in 2014-2016, but was dealing with Floyd's death, starting Happy Hippies, creating _Dead Petz,_ and wanting to relax more after working as Disney's slave. On top of that, too many people are still ridiculously scarred over her Bangerz era (which was 7 years ago, BTW) and refuse to give her any chance no matter what. Miley's different look/sound for every era also hurt her in the long run too because she wasn't able to maintain a wide, stable fanbase from the public. She doesn't have enough diehard stans like myself to be as commercially successful anymore. I'm hoping word-of-mouth will slowly convert people and help start her comeback for future releases to come.
Thanks for the video I loooove Miley and I've been waiting for Plastic Hearts, I am glad to know other people feel the same way.
was so excited for this album after listening to mark ronson's late night feelings and miley's she is coming ep the summer of 2019 ! think that collaboration with mark was the catalyst for plastic hearts with the success of nothing breaks like a heart ! LIVING for these ballads !
Angel Like You is like Wrecking Ball pt. 2 but add even MORE salt to the wound... Every song on this album i felt Miley was speaking directly at me.
this album stunned me! angels like you, high, never be me, and golden g string all spoke to me on a spiritual level and ive been binging them constantly. im so proud shes doing what she wants now it sounds phenomenal
I think the reason why some singers do a retro-styled, disco-styled, or synthpop sings this year because people don't like new songs and they prefer to listen some old songs. So singers will release their retro style, disco style, synthpop songs and it became a success just like Don't Start Now & Blinding Lights etc.
I really liked her new album. Love the 80s vibes. They can be her best era.
Plastic hearts was a ride for me it was so unskippable to the point I listen to it everyday it never gets repetitive i really didnt like mileys songs and always said that her songs were bad but then plastic hearts came and it really changed my opinion bout her
She said it when she was Hannah Montana, “I might even be a rock star”.
She got theeeee synth rock (Billy Idol), blues rock (Stevie Nicks), synth pop (Dua) and glam punk (Joan Jett) icons on board and they all slayed
She's just an ICON LIVIN' Wooh
plastic hearts feels like a project miley was meant to make all along. she feels like she finally broke free from both disney and the aggressive era of trying to break free from disney. Sometimes I forget how young she still is, she has so much time ahead of her and I just am so proud of this album for her. it's incredible
I bought her hannah Montano cd as a middle schooler. She's the same age as me and I'm happy she's only gotten better over time. I looove this new album. Never be me, and Bad Karma are my favs rn. But all the songs are 🔥🔥
PLASTIC HEARTS ALBUM OF THE YEAR 💀🖤
yall forgetting her first album was breakout which was full-on pop/rock!!! her voice suited it perfectly
I grew up with Miley and was such a huge fan so long ago. I haven’t been the biggest fan throughout her adult career, but I wholeheartedly support her and I think she’s a very authentic person. I’m really glad she’s shining this year. She deserves happiness ❤️
she was so love-influenced.
When she was with Liam she made Young Now
when she broke up she made Plastic Heart
I think she is talented But it seems like relationship could easily be her life priority. Her career, her style, her image could be affected strongly by her romance status.
I LOVE THE EDITING! You picked the best shots, we the fans appreciate it ♥ some ppl just grab random google pic from 2009 and put it in the video
