You shouldn't be talking about how we 'live in a subscription based economy' your language is tacitly submitting to the language being pushed by these content owners that 'purchasing' doesn't mean owning.
When for at least the last century, there is legal precedent that when you purchase something you own it.
They're taking ownership away from us. You need to push back.
Because if buying isn't owning? Piracy isn't theft.
For the people bitching in the comments about Varouf having financial affluence. Riddle me this:
Who will fight for the underprivileged rights' when they themselves work all days and all hours? The ones that can,. If you're doing good in life, you should do the same. If you're living good, it's your duty to be socialist lol - and help raise your fellow human out of poverty, fight for their rights, their financial freedom etc etc
