I was born in Puerto Vallarta! My whole moms side of the family still lives there but I now live in Indiana. I love visiting when I get a chance. My favorite thing to do there is eat all the yummy food. You’ll have to check out Cafe De Artistes if you haven’t already. Their pumpkin prawn soup is my favorite! My uncle has a WONDERFUL seafood place along the Rio Cuale called Balam Balam. ❤

Hey Jeannie, I love your videos and find you such an inspiration. You’re always so elegant and so chic … it’s a joy to watch your videos. You have actually really been an inspiration and I was thinking of daring to make ASMR videos and was wondering if you would give some advice on your gear. What camera, sound system and microphone do you use? What would be your top recommendations for a beginner?

Thank you so much! I totally encourage you to jump in - the water's great! I'd practice on your phone, just doing videos and becoming comfortable with talking to the camera (making sure not to look at the screen, but instead look at the lens!) Before you spend money, just get comfortable with it. THEN, when you do feel comfortable, these are what I use:
