Thank you so much for this video. I have lost 3 family members since Christmas, my Memaw, My Grandfather and Uncle. I have been struggling with the grief. You always have such wise words, I needed to hear this message. Thank you! ❤
I really feel what you said about needing the continuity of the voice with the tingly sounds! Part of the reason why your videos are so relaxing to me is that your voice is always the main event. Loved this one ♥️♥️
Jeannie, what you mentioned about grief, I really needed to hear. I lost my mom just shy of two years ago and this month has been particularly hard for me, especially with mother’s day. Hearing your wisdom is exactly what I needed right now. Thank you for the relaxation & kindness, you are so wonderful. 💗
I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and I’ve never heard of this concept of ASMR. Wow! I absolutely agree with the concept of ASMR triggering primordial comfort. Very insightful.
I love the bits of advice and your philosophy on life you inject in here and there. This is why we always respected elders in the past. They've been through so much crap and so much joy, and have much to share. Very wise and relaxing woman, thank you
You have a real gift Jeannie. Thank your grandson and your family for lending you to us. I love that through all that you have been through, you still have a sense of wonder and delight in the small things. Some people are gifts to this world. Thank you, thank you for sharing yours.
I love this so much! You remind me of my grandma in so many ways. Unfortunately, due to family issues, I haven't seen her in years, but thank you for reminding me of her ❤️
Its so funny how you plan on us tuning out... When everything you say sinks so deeply into my soul ❤️😭 The mother's heartbeat. The resilience. Putting grief on a shelf in your heart. Accepting the past and focusing on joy. The story of the mare having the baby with the sound of the straw. 😭❤️🙏 I love youuuu ❤️ thank you for this gift
you are one of the few asmrtists that i genuinely enjoy the talking because not only is your voice extremely soothing and lovely, you always have something positive to say, and your thoughts often make me reflect on my own life for quite a few days. thanks, jeannie! wishing you a lovely day/night :)

Great video, very relaxing! Love the story about your horses and those percussion frogs sound so cool! And I'm so sorry for the loss yourself and your family has been through, your words are always so wise and supportive

Oh. Now I understand why I was drawn to your videos. 😢 What you talk about loss there, I really needed to hear. And you also mention losing a son! That is the worst, losing your child. I lost my son 7 months ago and yes, the grief has been more than overwhelming. 😢 I think resilience is sometimes to just live on after something like that. But you are right. You can't be there forever. And they would want us to live ❤ So thank you for sharing your own experience and wisdom like this! Loving your blah blah blah! And great choices for tingles btw. 😎 Greetings from Finland!
Hello dear friend in Finland! Thank you for sharing this with me. Yes, loss of a child is so beyond sad. I’m glad you were able to relate to some of my thoughts about it. And yes, I know my Adam would want me to live in and live in joy. I know this to my core. My heart still hurts and I have sad days sometimes when I think about those whom I’ve lost. And that’s ok. We were in Helsinki a few years ago. Beautiful city!! 🇫🇮 💕
I just love your videos! I have such overwhelming grief and sometimes well intentioned people say "just don't think about it ". That doesn't work for me. However, I can turn your videos on and just feel myself calm down and for awhile my grief/mind slows down just a bit. Thank you!💞
I can’t agree more. Your grief has to run its course but when you do feel happy let that in too. I have heard people say “I’m supposed to be sad right now, not happy!” but grief is not linear, it comes in waves. You might be crying one minute and laughing the next, just let it flow. I’m learning this myself and I know it’s easier said than done! Hugs!
@@Olivia_G88 Oh thank you for this!!! And how true, it definitely comes in waves! And unfortunately you only understand that when you are going through it!💞
@@mindynene77 Very true. I DO understand! We all get dealt a deck of cards, what matters is how we shuffle them and choose which ones to keep. I don't think I've ever loved a YT video more than I loved this one. What you said at 36:32 was exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks Jeannie, your videos are heaven sent ❤️
My husband and I adopt senior cats (because there is a stigma around adopting older animals - they are usually the last to be adopted at shelters). I appreciate the complexity of animals *and* our fellow human beings. It makes us unique. Thank you for sharing your perspective!
Hi Jeannie, I really needed to hear your message today about resiliencey. Ive hada rough last few months but things are looking up due to me and my husband being resilient. Thank you for your kindness, and of course making this video soo relaxing. ❤

I’m sorry for your losses, thank you for sharing your thoughts on grief. As I get older I fear loosing my parents. The thought of if makes me sad. I appreciate you sharing another perspective on dealing with loss. My parents always tell me I’ll be okay and I have to trust that. I know they won’t live forever.
Hi Jeannie - I think i was the person to ask you to speak about resilience, so I just wanted to thank you for talking about it. Your words and advice are really meaningful.

Gosh! I haven't commented on here in a while. I'm glad to you see you Jennie!!... I absolutely adored all the tingles❤️ my favorite was the wood sounds!! As always all the love to you… muwah!
Resiliency....for me is making an agreement with myself that I get to fall apart or cry or scream or be really angry but, only with the understanding that it will be temporary. I get to feel all the things even if its ugly but, only for a while. How long of course, depends on how "big" the thing is. Knowing I can't stay in a place that is unhealthy for too long (even if its my own head) is not part of the deal I make with myself. For me, one day it will click and I'll think "okay, thats over, I'm done, that was enough. Now I get to be happy." I don't know if that works for everyone, but it works for me. ❤
Slathering cream on the face I can relate. I use so much on my face and body it is a beauty secret/tip. Been doing it since I was a teenager and it’s kept me looking young 💖🌸 and thanks for the relaxing sounds ❤️

I love hearing that your mom is kind. Unfortunately, my mom is not a good person. We learn positively as a result from the experiences with both types. My brother died when he was 19. I think she blames me. And my beautiful dog Linus was like one of my children. I still am so sad to not have him here with me. I hope to see him again…Thank you for your lovely videos ❤🙏🏼
Jeannie, I want to thank you for all your videos. You have done so much for me, but every day I still struggle. I get so stressed, I panic, I never ever try and see the good in things. I’m always stressed, I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve listened to your affirmations and sometimes they help, but sometimes they don’t. I really do appreciate all you’ve done, but I do have one question for you, what do you suggest I do? Could you possibly make a video or something explaining how to beat all of this? I just want some advice, you’ve always helped me. Again, thank you.
Dearest Trissy - this sounds like something that is bigger than any advice I could give you. Have you spoken with a professional about this? Perhaps start with your GP and go from there. or even online - I found this: www.betterhelp.com/online-therapy/ I truly want you to find someone who can give you tools to use for these issues. I wish I could blah, blah blah away all your stress and panic attacks, but I’m nowhere near qualified for that and my words fall way short of true help, my luv. Sending you all the best for you to find the right person(s) to talk to. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

That is awesome! I love how you truly allow yourself the reaction! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
This is relaxing.❤❤❤❤
Slathering cream on the face I can relate. I use so much on my face and body it is a beauty secret/tip. Been doing it since I was a teenager and it’s kept me looking young 💖🌸 and thanks for the relaxing sounds ❤️

Hi Jeanie. Thank you for the unboxing video which I love. I just got into Jen unboxing ASMR and she is great. She is Scottish but lives in Paris. I hope you enjoyed your trip to Europe. Hayley 💕
Thanks Hayley! I’ll check her out!! ♥️
Another interesting video. Ploy❤
Thanks, Ploy!! XOX
Thank you to sharing this, dear Michelle. ♥️
Your kind words are always soothing 🤗 thank you for another wonderful video!
Thank you for this!
Perhaps start with your GP and go from there. or even online - I found this:

I truly want you to find someone who can give you tools to use for these issues. I wish I could blah, blah blah away all your stress and panic attacks, but I’m nowhere near qualified for that and my words fall way short of true help, my luv. Sending you all the best for you to find the right person(s) to talk to. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
@@JeannieBASMR I will try that, thank you so much. I’m so thankful for you Jeannie, you have done a lot. Thanks for the tip and have a good night. 💓
@@cat15789 I really want you to have the best! ♥️♥️♥️
Would love more videos from you using triggers!❤
Hey awesome video as always. Funny thing I don’t wear my glasses, but I use the microfiber cloth I got for them to clean my phone screen obsessively because I have OCD. 😂😂 I know weird I just like my screen being crisp and clear. I hope your doing well Jeannie. I’m going to head out now and watch the rest of the video so I can fall asleep. Thanks Jeannie!
Hope you rest well, Levon!!🥰
Youre the bestttt❤
Thank you, luv!
Ahhh! I’ve been waiting for your next video!
Yay! Here it is! 😁
Thanks for the info about aquaphor. I'm a diabetic and I have thyroid disease. So, I suffer with dry skin all the time.
This is awesome ❤ I’d like to request blah blah blah w/ advice/affirmations for new moms, got a 1 month old over here & some calming encouragement would do me some good 🙏🏽
Oh wow - I'd have to dig deep into my memories for that one, but that could be a really good one! Thank you for the idea, Lauren!😘
