I will definitely check out Miss Virginia and the Sweet Sisters. My sister and I are collaborating on a children’s book and it talks a little bit about the Civil Rights movement. It’d be good to read and explore because I too am from the Bay Area (San Pablo, CA) and I didn’t really experience racism due to a melting pot of cultures here while I was growing up. It was truly a blessing to not have to experience that harsh reality that other children go through.
Yes - the Bay Area was a big mix of all ethnicities. I didn't know then how special that was. People were just people. You liked everyone, unless they were jerks. And jerks came in every color! (I could be a BIG jerk - I'd kick boys in the shins - particularly if I like them! Lol!)

Fantastic. I downloaded some of your videos for a recent flight to help with anxiety and it was so comforting. I also love hearing you speak on artists. My father was a published author, his last book was published in the early 80s I think but he struggled and was a house painter and general contractor to pay the bills. I am a self taught artist and I paint houses all day and then draw for 3 hours every night after I put the kids to bed. I’m not great at business but one day after all these years I’m confident my art will be my full time job eventually. Thank you and your awesome.
Your statement on balancing art and responsibility is very true. I’m experiencing that right now. I’m in college, studying for a psychology degree so I can work in industrial psychology, but in between my classes, I’m at my desk drawing comics. I enjoy both, but it can be hard to work on both at once. It’s nice to come across someone who gets it 😊
We use white vinegar for fabric softener! We line dry our clothes so it also helps keeps your clothes from becoming too stiff when air drying! It’s just so versatile!

No lie, I'm not even 2 minutes in and already on the edge to cry because all of the sudden I feel exposed but happy that someone finally said how I feel these days, weeks, months... I really don't know how to describe it but thank you for speaking it out. Solely you saying what's my burden makes me feel heard in some way like it isn't just a "me thing" but the feelings that I have are universal and there are people who feel the same way cause I thought that all the stress I'm getting because of my current situation is my fault alone. You mentioning it being normal really teared me up a bit. It's relief. I guess it's also the fact that the time is running out and I'm just too scared of actually processing which stresses me out. I know I talk a lot so I'm sorry. Just hope that you know that this was really helpful for me and perfectly timed. Thank you!

We have the same laundry routine!😅I have used 7th generation detergent and white vinegar instead of fabric softener for years. White vinegar gets rid of static, softens, and acts as a disinfectant. I would never go back! Great idea to mention this! I enjoy all your content, but these types of videos are my favorite!😊
That ending just got me! I struggle with weight issues, and for the past 2 plus years, I have been in constant pain that leaves me pretty much immobile. Which means no activity and weight gain. Here in Canada, our health system is in shambles and getting worse. I went to my doctor 2 years ago and was given an x-ray and told to go to physio. I knew in my soul there was something very wrong. I went back a year later and basically demanded a CT scan as this pain is just getting worse. I knew it was not muscular. She agreed to the scan, and I waited a good 8 months but finally got it. I got the results last week. It bone deterioration, and I need surgery. I go to see the surgeon in a couple of weeks. 2 years of excruciating pain for nothing. Thank you for saying we are enough. You really spoke to me when you said that. Sorry for the book. I've just written to you but wanted you to know you absolutely help me and many others, I am sure. I really love your videos and feel blessed to have found this channel. Bless you, Jeannie ❤

This was so enjoyable and relaxing! This kind helps me focus and stay relaxed when I’m doing something like packing for a trip. I also use Costco’s vinegar for my laundry! And I love earl grey tea, as well as Republic of Tea’s decaf. I just wish they made it in loose leaf.

I like looking at "favorite things" video, you never know what little gems you will see. I may get those washable cotton pads they look nice. I did want to mention that you may want to look into "soap sheets" they come in little cases in so many different scents. I looked up the tablets like you were showing, and they were more intended for refills of foaming soap dispensers. It worked out for me though because I kind of forgot soap sheets existed. I will definitely check out Miss Virginia and the Sweet Sisters. My sister and I are collaborating on a children’s book and it talks a little bit about the Civil Rights movement. It’d be good to read and explore because I too am from the Bay Area (San Pablo, CA) and I didn’t really experience racism due to a melting pot of cultures here while I was growing up. It was truly a blessing to not have to experience that harsh reality that other children go through.
Yes - the Bay Area was a big mix of all ethnicities. I didn't know then how special that was. People were just people. You liked everyone, unless they were jerks. And jerks came in every color! (I could be a BIG jerk - I'd kick boys in the shins - particularly if I like them! Lol!)

Fantastic. I downloaded some of your videos for a recent flight to help with anxiety and it was so comforting. I also love hearing you speak on artists. My father was a published author, his last book was published in the early 80s I think but he struggled and was a house painter and general contractor to pay the bills. I am a self taught artist and I paint houses all day and then draw for 3 hours every night after I put the kids to bed. I’m not great at business but one day after all these years I’m confident my art will be my full time job eventually. Thank you and your awesome.

I’m in college, studying for a psychology degree so I can work in industrial psychology, but in between my classes, I’m at my desk drawing comics. I enjoy both, but it can be hard to work on both at once.

We use white vinegar for fabric softener! We line dry our clothes so it also helps keeps your clothes from becoming too stiff when air drying! It’s just so versatile!

I really don't know how to describe it but thank you for speaking it out. Solely you saying what's my burden makes me feel heard in some way like it isn't just a "me thing" but the feelings that I have are universal and there are people who feel the same way cause I thought that all the stress I'm getting because of my current situation is my fault alone. You mentioning it being normal really teared me up a bit. It's relief.
I guess it's also the fact that the time is running out and I'm just too scared of actually processing which stresses me out.

We have the same laundry routine!😅I have used 7th generation detergent and white vinegar instead of fabric softener for years. White vinegar gets rid of static, softens, and acts as a disinfectant. I would never go back! Great idea to mention this! I enjoy all your content, but these types of videos are my favorite!😊

That ending just got me! I struggle with weight issues, and for the past 2 plus years, I have been in constant pain that leaves me pretty much immobile. Which means no activity and weight gain. Here in Canada, our health system is in shambles and getting worse. I went to my doctor 2 years ago and was given an x-ray and told to go to physio. I knew in my soul there was something very wrong. I went back a year later and basically demanded a CT scan as this pain is just getting worse. I knew it was not muscular. She agreed to the scan, and I waited a good 8 months but finally got it. I got the results last week. It bone deterioration, and I need surgery. I go to see the surgeon in a couple of weeks. 2 years of excruciating pain for nothing. Thank you for saying we are enough. You really spoke to me when you said that. Sorry for the book. I've just written to you but wanted you to know you absolutely help me and many others, I am sure. I really love your videos and feel blessed to have found this channel. Bless you, Jeannie ❤

I like looking at "favorite things" video, you never know what little gems you will see. I may get those washable cotton pads they look nice. I did want to mention that you may want to look into "soap sheets" they come in little cases in so many different scents. I looked up the tablets like you were showing, and they were more intended for refills of foaming soap dispensers. It worked out for me though because I kind of forgot soap sheets existed. Enjoyed your video. Liked the tip about white vinegar too!
