Sean R. Rudnick, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. In his time with the Section on Gastroenterology and Hepatology he has served as Medical Director of Hepatology, Associate Program Director for the Gastroenterology Fellowship, and Director of the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Wilson Disease Center of Excellence. In 2023, he was awarded the inaugural Jack. L. Levin Endowed Professorship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University of Virginia and completed his Advanced Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
