i never needed flares but in an uptier i usually carry 8 zunis with me as makeshift flares, it works decently well so. the T-2 is a great fighter/trainer

I have this and the F104J currently as my max for Japanese air - I am actually having an easier time with the f104 believe it or not, just because I can orbital strike with the aim9p's - haven't unlocked them for the t-2 yet so it's pretty painful to spade, but your point about catching su25/a10 on their bombing runs is a guaranteed kill if you line up right. I've been taking bombs, rocketing to the base, arcing back round and hitting them up the ass
I have no problem dodging the 10G missiles ... it's the 18G, 20G, and all-aspect missiles that give me head aches. You are just dead. There is nothing but luck that can save you (or a cloud I guess).
I just fight like a pansy and stay away from them. Or I try to 3rd party and jump in on them while they're occupied with someone else lol

T2 non early was my first after burner jet and it prob the best I’ve played
T-2 is a trainer and it kinda feels like one in game too. As in pretty forgiving for someone who's trash at AB (me)

mate how are you getting 1 hit kills with the Vulcan, I can't stop sparking on tinfoil MiG21s with the F-4E and tickle enemies with NR30
Idk! I will say I have a helluva time taking out SU-25s with the vulcan. I use the air targets belt and most of my kills are starting a stream in front of the their flight path and letting them flu through it if that makes sense.
@@RoneK_Actual so air target it is? they said that all high explosive fragmenting 20mm shells are dogshit now but why not Vulcan? I've been using AP like a moron all this time! GSh23L is still much better now than Vulcan god knows why, my conspiracy theory is that it was once as shit as the others when Realshitter got released, but because MiG23 ML gave them the bag they decided to make it easier for premium asses to kill people while they get barely scratched when they get shot at.
I don't really know to be honest. I have never really had any trouble with air belts before or after the updates. I also only play air rb like 10% of the time.

most missiles at that br range dont have 10-15G's. Its 18-30G's lol. T-2 early's are quite literally free kills to anyone with 4 brain cells and a missile
I'm often matched against US and vehicles with US weapons. The 18g aims are tough to dodge but 10g aims are easy. Plus the reason I don't die to 460s maybe ever is because I don't head on and Russian planes. I wait for them to be distracted, then I go in.
@@RoneK_Actual most people lets me honest here have the attention span of 4 mins on a target tops. I normally play the J-7ii for the 120 rounds of pure pain. But i just target anything such as the T-2 or F-4s purely cause they are the largest threat.
I know they do. And that is why it is easy to take them out. They tunnel vision on opponents while I swoop in behind them without them knowing lol

It needs flares, as you said everybody took advantage of the sales, including lvl 12 wallet warriors. This plane is a free kill every time I am in position to fire an r60 at it, along with Milan, f4c and f105. And irl it apperently had a flare pod so I don't see why it should not have one in game. It was a training aircraft after all so training how to use flares would be important imo.
I enjoy the plane because since it doesn't have flares, it forces me to play patient less aggressive and a more wingman type style. Helping teammates 3rd party opponents. Or to keep my altitude high to prevent enemies from escaping fights with teammates. Its nice to change it up.

@@kleinerfarmer1 ok counter argument, we have paper vehicles in the game. The devs assume how the prototypes would behave and function and add them with no reference for real life, since there is none. So let's add paper modifications, assume that if war broke out and this plane was deployed, it would have a flare pod developed for it. It seems reasonable imo.

Fun plane, but its not that good anymore, dont get why anyone would buy the premium version of it, very glad I got a free talisman for it tho, especially before the Su25k got added
Fair but I have 2+ kd averaging like 1.3 kills a game. I am really enjoying it personally. It forces me to play patient and unconventional which I enjoy the nice change of strategy.

This ain't dev server, this is me playing on like a random Saturday 🤣 I'm not a full time CC. I'm a dude who plays in free time and for now I'm staying out of what y'all got going on. I work and have a family. I'm not going to stop doing what I like in my already limited free time because someone on the internet tells me too.
I'll clarify: I've only been playing for about 2 years so I'm not getting involved until I've done my own research and make up my own opinion.
