I am a staff/wand DPS 4.1K CP playing everyday since lunch and I can tell you right away, this is a great idea if you just want to wait for the target to die, which is so boring and absolutely not efficent in PVP whatsoever. Its nice that you have a lot of STR to survive but with 500 hit chance you wont even hit any of these dots on target with magic eva :) you need at least 700 hit to even hit anyone. I wonder whats your time in Gates of Infinity on the evil eye now, as there u hit every attack anyway. As a mage I rather prior being oneshoted by GS users but deal massive DMG to groups with lightning and fire ball. Upgraded fire bombs can insta kill your target and ppl around him when heavy crited. no need to wait to apply dots before exploding them. I also noticed u have no DEX and WIS? These are main stats for your class lol. stacking crit with no hit is also meaningless. Pls do some research and try different combinations and see for yourself, that this is a boring ineffective build. And one more thing, you MUST use sleep skill in PVP, that is mandatory for any DD with wands, how would u even stack the curse effect?

Appreciate the feedback and I'll take it into consideration. Yes this is mainly a PvE build hut does work great in PvP. It does more damage than you'd think with the DoTs stacked you're easily doing 2k DPS while being able to kite your opponent. Rather than mass sleep which I agree is better for PvP I went with Icebound Tome as an escape
Thank you for taking the time to provide some more insight.

Can you share your build? Seems interesting.

I would use buffs then unlucky clock before using curse explosion. Increasing the duration and then exploding would increase your burst damage on target I do believe. Or am I misreading how curse explosion works?

Correct I'd toss up Janice's Rage for the damage boost, then apply you DoTs, preferably hit them with Serial Fire Bombs for the Weaken:Burning and wrap up with Curse Explosion.

This is mostly pve build. Youd die in pvp especially in Large scale GvG. GS/Dagger would love to cease to exist your character. You cant be just idle with your character being stationary for 3s to have passive activate is too long. This is why nobody plays staff as main damager in Pvp/GvG. Too slow, not enough damage, no survivability. You want to either pair staff with Bow or Dagger. Atleast you can flashwave with bow or invi when in dagger.
You cant just make a build guide without having it tested in end game. Title you video better. *Working Progress Build* it's a good click bait tho ngl. Thats it. 🤭

Agree this is mainly a PvE build but can be used in PvP. Lots of damage and survivability though and well tested.
I consider every build a work in progress they constantly change and I don't go for the meta builds. Thanks for the feedback it's always appreciated and I use it when I'm testing new builds.
