After getting this, it’s really hard to say whether I like this or Rathalos better. I think Rathalos actually has an easier time getting into good poses, since Narga has no back crunch and basically no back bend for the neck. But Nargacuga is much more fun to play with, since it doesn’t feel quite as fragile. Both look gorgeous and for all my gripes both feel worth their price tags. Looking forward to Zinogre and anything else coming!
I'm glad you add your video game experience with these figures. It shows that you actually play the games, most people act like they do but they fronting. 10 hours for a G rank that's intense!!!! Go panther dragon!!!!
Monsterarts doesn't seem interested in the new monsters Legendary Pictures makes, unfortunately. But that might change depending on what happens with the Monsterverse moving forward. If Toho takes Godzilla back or limits his appearances in the Monsterverse from now on (since they definitely seem interested in making more of their own Godzilla movies again), Kong would then become the star of the Monsterverse, and Legendary would have to keep creating more monsters for him to fight and revisit some of their older creations, which COULD then get SHMA to take interest in creatures like Camazotz and Behemoth.
@@goji3755 My understanding was that Toho only licensed 3 movies to Legendary, so the Monsterverse going forward is likely going to be mostly Kong-related. Monsterarts might have a few licensing issues to work through before Legendary Godzilla can be added to their line-up.

They just aren’t putting as much effort as they do with their other lines, making it seem like they’re tired of the Godzilla line as a whole! Mine just came in the mail hours ago after school I saw the box and opened the figure I tried the articulation and heated some stiff joints and started popping in the wings and extra pieces to test if they where easy the enraged head is a little bit of a hassle but that's it and this figure is my first of sh monsterarts and I'm impressed with this I've been holding off due to the price but I'm a diehard monster hunter fan so when I saw these is flipped and my birthday 1st of November was close to bolth figures release date and managed to come up with some money and got them on preorder and in exited for rathalos it's going to be huge
Looking at the scale of the Hunter compared to the monster, this is apparently supposed to be a Gold Crown, Extra Large Nargacuga. Hunters are canonically just short of 2 meters tall and the longest possible Narga is 23.66 meters snout to tail tip. The minifigure just happens to be about 1/12 the length of the monster. For comparison, the smallest possible length is 16 meters or 8 times the length of the Hunter. So the minifigure seeming kind of small isn't unreasonable here. Something closer to the size of a Lego or MegaBlox minifig would scale closer to the lower end of possible sizes.
Yours is tight? Use heat - blow dryer preferred, that's what I did - on the area that's tight to loosen it and make it soft. You should be able to pop apart with ease. Then apply dish soap in small amounts to loosen the join, then reassemble. Your experience may vary and I can't stress hard enough you may risk breakage if you don't know what you're doing.
BBTS is super slow. Usually still have pre-orders for items on shelves. It stinks but the good news is they're ALWAYS reliable. Never had a cancelled order or no stock.
B1998 especially when they send a broken product. My 2019 Ghidorah came with a chip in the wing and they have me $65 off my next purchase and a new figure. I spent the $65 to buy the 2019 Godzilla, which came with bad eyes so I got another one for free.
@Alex DuRain per FTC guidelines (re: LAWS) influencers to any degree must disclose when they are receiving product sample or the message being sent is a sponsored or other. Bandai did not send this to me, and this is why I have the STR ad disclosure in the description of all of my videos.
I really like this guy, but mine has a problem with its right foot in that it kept popping off whenever I moved it so I fixed it by sizing up the ball joint with super glue, another problem is that ths heads are so hard to put on that I never want to change the head
I do wish they went with classic nargacuga design, I miss it’s more savage beak, proportionately larger head and wyvern teeth rather than just generic cat teeth and lips. Overall tho it looks pretty nice
This figure does use the beak design. The beak is only on its upper jaw. This wasn't a design choice, just a detail that looked less obvious on the lower polygon models of earlier games.
i have pre-ordered this and rath cant wait would love to see Neca have a go at a monster hunter figure like it has with alien witch i collect and are happy with.

The hunter figure its kinda funny. If you compare narga to the rathalos figure, the size comparison seems pretty close. But the hunter is way to small haha

Just picked up the Rathalos figure as my first one. I really hope they do more with this line so far there is only this one and Rathalosto my knowledge with the seemingly impending Zinogre in 2021

This guy was such a beauty, I haven't fought him yet but I love this figure. I can not wait for Rathalos, he looks absolutely stunning.
