By the way Ken Dodd was a famous, in my opinion hilarious comedian, he died in his nineties some years ago. 😁😆
Behind lead singer of the Mindbenders, Wayne Fontana, a very young Eric Stewart, later in 10cc. ❤️
It's so sad how many of these singers and musicians are no longer with us. 😥

Thanks, very interesting international perspective. Amazing the number of big hits that were No. 1 in the UK or Canada and not in the States... and the number of songs that were No. 1 in France, Italy and/or Spain.

I'm not talking bad about music because I like music. It's just that music today seems to be going backwards some. For example: Some songs today sound like from the '60's and '70's. It's kind of interesting. The only thing is we can't go back to those decades, but I wish we could.

One song you need to add is "Down in The Boondocks" by Billy Joe Royal. it went to Number One in Canada, sometime in 1965. I attended his funeral in October 2015 in North Carolina. He was a great Singer and performer.

    I'm so sorry I wasn't around in the 1960's.
So many interesting things happened and I wasn't there to see it.
I wasn't born until the '70's. A decade which I'm not fond of because that was when things went from bad to worse. Such as: Drugs, alcohol, graffiti, rape, murder and domestic violence to name some.
People say the '60's were bad, but I think the'70's were worse.
