The amount of Beatles songs is impressive. 😮
The Beatles had at several number one hits every year I was in HS and beyond (63-67).
@@rodleyeriffe9149 they are at their peak at that time.
Fantastic video Random Guy.
Wow, the Beatles just totally dominated the charts. Nobody else comes close.
Thank you for including Aussie artists.
The difference between what the UK were doing musically and what the US is doing is really clearly obvious.
The Beatles, the Kinks, the Animals, The Beach Boys... Some of the most iconic 60's bands, all in one video! 😍🎸🎶
Everybody was so crazy about You back then lover
Don't forget The Rolling Stones too
@@samfeldstein4498 Or The Supremes.
I’m 69 ! and this is memory lane!
The explosion of Beatles, there is an era before-Beatles and an era after-beatles ! Thanks for sharing
OMG, how the Beatles dominated this era!
I was born in late 1963, and I still listen to 40 year old music from the 70's and 80's. Wow. I begin to miss my late mother when I hear old music like this. Love you, Mom.
Thanks for featuring this nostalgic and iconic songs that make it to the top through the years...🙂
The Beatles had 15 #1 hits in those 2 years alone! Amazing when you see them one after another! The Supremes had 6 #1 hits too, a distant second to the Beatles ! So much great music from those two years! Nicely done!
Don’t forget the (Rolling) Stones who also had 6 #1!
@@hannesschlesselmann8437 Ahh Yes! I missed the Stones! Incredible too!
Total domination by the Fab Four!
Wow The Supremes were something else.
Greats of all time.
Timeless.
I just love how in the 60s and 70s everyone randomly released songs in German and French. 😮 🤣
OMG,,,The Beatles always made it to the top ,,,all their songs became number 1 hits,,,though I wasn't born yet during their era,,,but I really appreciate and adore all their songs,,,I really really love all the songs they made,,,Now I realize why my late father idolized them so much,,he always played their songs on the cassette way back then,,,hearing their songs always make me feel that my father is still alive,,I always remember him every time I heard Beatles songs,,,aside from them he also idolized Gary Lewis and the Playboys and Herman's Hermits,,,,it was my late father who introduced me to the songs of these greatest boy bands of all time,,,,such wonderful memories,,I hope my dad is already happy in where he is right now,,,Thank you dad,I loved and missed you so much,,and thanks to all these amazing boy bands and singers for their greatest contribution in the world of music...
I grew up with some of these! Today, nobody makes music the way these greats did - because nobody can. Thanks for the memories!
Ah. Memories. So glad I was there. Music's never been the same.
Amazing job and thank you for including not only English and American artists.
Agree 4561z my number im up 4 a party 7 peace friend
The beatles. Ginormous . .So Dominating.. ❤️❤️
Thanks For upload. As I Grow old, Classic music is pushing Away my Heavy Metal Love to another corner 😂😂
The Supremes (Mary Wilson, Diana Ross, and Florence Ballard) five number-ones in-a-row!❤❤❤
So many awesome tracks by so may great artists! The standards were certainly higher back then.
Obviously the rest of the bands are good too, but for me, The Beatles was and are the kings of The 60's. I love them so much ❤️
They were the first British rock band to conquer America at that time.
The other British bands followed soon after.
Then it was called: THE BRITISH INVASION !
@@michaelconsuegra7316 I love them for that, and for all the things that they made in their years like band. They will always be a very spectacular and iconic band, always!!
The House of the rising sun 😍
Awesome!!!!!
3rd and 4th grade for me
Remember these songs well ....
Thanks for posting!!!
😎😎😎
Real singers in these songs
I never knew Moody blues did go now 😮I like the rolling stones, the kinks and Elvis Presley but I love, love the Beatles ✌️♥️😍
I'm an 80s baby but still grew up listening to a lot of this because of my parents. I was actually a bit obsessed with Little Old Lady From Pasadena.
Cool video! Lots of cool songs on there. Keep it up!
Money can't buy me love, but with your music lists, maybe you can, SRG. All my loving I will send to you then. Love SRG
The sixties underground FM radio was
The most important catalyst that launched music beyond pop.
People forget how great other singers male and female British, Canadian, french and other countries too 💕
Love this era of music. I'm almost 40 and when I was growing up this is what the "oldies" stations played on the radio. Nowadays oldies stations are playing late 70s, early 80s music. But I could listen to this all day.
It's because it's a generational thing
I am 35 and grew up listening to 60s and 70s music as my parents were born in 58 and 59. They would have oldies stations playing 50s, 60s and 70s and enjoyed it even though I enjoy 80s and 90s rock as well. I agree though I see now they have 70s and 80s now as oldies for kids today.
I was a teenager in those years bit i didn't not know the existence of some artist. The world was too big then
Great!!! Thank you Random for sharing this awesome music
Thank you Random:) Love the non English versions of great songs! I don't understand a word, but really cool to hear from a different country. No one can go wrong with The Kinks!!!!!
The Beatles were the definitive band of the 60s.
Most definitely
All times guys
So were The Yardbirds.
They had a hit called: For Your Love.
@@michaelconsuegra7316 they were great, but Shapes of Things was much better. Jeff beck made them amazing.
IMHO the Byrds defined the mid 60s, at least. Other than the fabs, they were the only group making strong albums in that time. The beatles were the best though. So many great songs.
Nice to see international hits included.
Maybe you could call it "Beatles & others" 🤣 .... great collection again. Well done!
I don´t even imagine how hard it was to edit this amazing list..... CONGRATULATIONS, MARVELOUS!!
Thanks For Sharing!
You're the best. Period.
Thank you great SRG 🙂
My early childhood, nursery school, but some of these songs were my nursery rhymes. 😎❤️
By the way Ken Dodd was a famous, in my opinion hilarious comedian, he died in his nineties some years ago. 😁😆
Behind lead singer of the Mindbenders, Wayne Fontana, a very young Eric Stewart, later in 10cc. ❤️
It's so sad how many of these singers and musicians are no longer with us. 😥
Both Ringo Starr, Cliff Richard and Tom Jones are over 80, to name three of these performers. ❤️
It's interesting how many people did cover versions in those days. 🎶
@ Julia Naylor: I had the pleasure of seeing Ken live some years ago, Julia. Absolutely brilliant!
THE BEATLES 😍
Thanks a lot! I knows the Beatles were beyond compare, but the Byrds vocal harmonies 2:52 and 2:58 are pure magic...
The Beatles, The Rolling stones, The Searchers,The Kinks!
The man on the motorcycle with the Shangri-Las was singer/actor Robert Goulet--the clip was when they were on the U.S. quiz program I'VE GOT A SECRET
And now we hear speeded up Shangri-las on Tik Tok
Better than the crap what’s in the charts now!!!!
Nostalgic opinion, but ok. It's just your tastes, doesn't mean it is bad.
It depends on the artist these days.
You're crap
Absolutely awesome thank you so much
MY WORD, AM I REALLY THIS OLD? FEEL LIKE 70 TRAPPED IN A 17 YEAR OLD BODY. MY FAVE BEATLES TRACKS: ALL MY LOVING, GET BACK AND HERE COMES THE SUN 🤗
Yes increasing the 60s and 70s numbers
FANTASTIC!!! Amazing job getting this lot together! Never knew The Beatles had so many special releases overseas, which went No.1. It would be great to see all these videos in full, but there’s probably many reasons why that is not possible.
I was thirteen when love me do shot up the charts never looked back Merseyside music captured the chats but it was a decade of number ones iam a fan of all the songs that came out of the sixties early seventies brings back beautiful memories
I wanted to be a. Beatle!!!!
50 - 60 Years Passed Since.
Great video!
Impresionantes the beatles, con 15 canciones
Super video 👍👍👍👍
The UK wanted to cash in on the European music scene too. So they would get big singers and groups to record in other languages. The Beatles did "She Loves You " in German too as "Sie liebt dich" ! Kinda cool really!
They are on a roll to become a great musician
60's década maravilhosa 😍
Very cool, thanks for sharing this!
Beatles #1all the way!
Wow, these are awesome. I was born in 1961 and I remember all of these.
The Beatles ❤️❤️
They are timeless. 👍

today I just bought the les surfs ep, quite famous 60s group in my country
thanks a lot for doing this! you are a great music you tuber! I'm French and I'm a huge fan of "Ce Monde" this is a beautiful song!
Nice work.
Buen recordatorio,gracias
I honestly hadn't realized how successful Herman's Hermits and The Supremes were until you see all their hits back to back to back.
Thanks, very interesting international perspective. Amazing the number of big hits that were No. 1 in the UK or Canada and not in the States... and the number of songs that were No. 1 in France, Italy and/or Spain.
Great work and thank you for it🌹they will never get old 🥰😍
I'm not talking bad about music because I like music. It's just that music today seems to be going backwards some. For example: Some songs today sound like from the '60's and '70's. It's kind of interesting. The only thing is we can't go back to those decades, but I wish we could.
One song you need to add is "Down in The Boondocks" by Billy Joe Royal. it went to Number One in Canada, sometime in 1965. I attended his funeral in October 2015 in North Carolina. He was a great Singer and performer.
Non ho l’eta - the second greatest ever Eurovision Song winner!
The Kinks ❤️
THE BEATLES😍👏 💖💖💖💖💯💫💯
I love these videos there some random guy thank u
Keep it up!!!
You forgot to include Paul Revere and the Raiders on the list. They hit#1 with the kicks as well as the Mamas& The Papas too.
@Anonymouse 2022 You forgot about Little Anthony and the Imperials The Drifters.
Kicks was released in 66, California Dreaming was released in December 65 but didn't debut on the charts until January 66 so...he didn't forget anything.
From Tokyo where is full of people who weep with nostalgia
Aside from the Searchers I absolutely LOVE the version of "Don't Throw Your Love Away" by the Orlons!
i cant help it. every time i hear petula start that song i can only hear groundskeeper willie. "you can always go... och... doontoon."
R.I.P ✝️.
Thanks for making this! I had no idea Petula Clark recorded Spanish or Italian versions of her songs
Bons tempos nao voltam mais melhor é recordar
Love this music too
The Beatles forever🎸🎸🎸🎸
Cruzeiro Esporte Clube forever ✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️💙💙💙💙💙
I'm so sorry I wasn't around in the 1960's.
So many interesting things happened and I wasn't there to see it.
I wasn't born until the '70's. A decade which I'm not fond of because that was when things went from bad to worse. Such as: Drugs, alcohol, graffiti, rape, murder and domestic violence to name some.
People say the '60's were bad, but I think the'70's were worse.
can you make the 100 most iconic songs from the 60s?
I did a '100 Songs Kids in the 60s Grew Up' video which features many iconic 60s songs: ruclips.net/video/czu_Ps1S5VI/видео.html
Lol. Didn´t know Lorne Greene made some music xD Nice vid btw :)
