Great question! We use plastic containers that latch around the oasis! It has a hook at the top that allows us to hang it on the stand.

I use Tacky Glue. It dries much more slowly than hot glue giving you the option to relocate your stems if you need to. It dries hard and attaches to the Styrofoam. It lasts even in cemetery work. A trick I learned many, many years ago working for Michael's as a designer.
