So many influencers will get “fancy” bred animals just to get views. With no thought to the horrible industry they are contributing to or the responsibility that comes with owning a living creature.

It has been proven with cats that they get along better with the same kind of cat ideally even looking like them. Momo was a tabby european shorthair. Bepo and Nami are both longhair that will explain a lot too.
I don’t think so, I think my cats are the same kind, they also look a lot like each other, but the female (the one i have for longer) doesn’t like my male cat, I also got a female dog recently.. she hissed at the first contact lol

you both are such sweet & considerate animal parents :') that's really nice that you wanted all your animals to be happy including bepo who was lonely when you would leave with chopper. it is good to have at least 2 cats so they can keep each other company. i feel like no animal should be alone for long periods of time... it's a wonderful thing for them to have a buddy

this is my first time watching your channel and Bepo immediately grabbed my attention. He is so adorable but you are the reason why I subscribe to your channel. At first, I was worried to see a young couple adopting a senior cat and a baby chow-chow together cause it might turn your daily life into a disaster, especially since a senior cat is extra sensitive and a chow-chow requires tremendous social activity training to avoid becoming too aggressive through the time. But you two have been doing so much better than I can imagine. Your cat and dog can get along so well mostly because of your doings. Very responsible and heartwarming to see everything you've been doing to keep every family member united. It will be a nicer world if every owner is like you. Best wishes to you!

To not only adopt an older cat and give him his best life but to also properly introduce Bepo and Chopper, doing everything so Bepo would feel confident again to the point Bepo and Chopper are friends and now adopting a streetcat seeing that he isn't feeling okay in the home and actually giving him to a home he feels good in and not just back to the adoption centre is just, WOW. I just love that you guys are so loving and caring to all the animals and so happy you found the perfect kitty friend for Bepo
I love how cats have these voices for example 8:21 you could see that Apple was scared, and kind of saying like “heyyy” and Momo would keep attacking him

I’m really happy you got to train your pets. I had my dog for 2 years and he is now way too old to go to training so he is a very difficult dog to deal with.

Loving your pet videos. This is so cute. I've had multiple cats for my entire life. When there's more than one, they will have a pecking order. It can be subtle but it's a thing (at least in my experience) Most of the time young, smaller cats either male or female will immediately accept a lower rank and respectively submit to the resident King. With two tomcats who both want to be King, there can be trouble because there's no immediate signs that one is stronger than the other. This can lead to a lot of battles that will get worse over time. It can also lead to having tomcats marking the entire house. I think you made a very wise decision in finding a new home for the first cat.

I adopted another cat 1 year ago for the exact same reason, my cat was too stressed when alone, and was removing all of his hairs. The problem is he is like Momo, and chases the other female sometimes. I realised he doesnt like having another cat but I wont get rid of the female. We keep rewarding good behavior, and I try to keep my oldest cat active and busy. I know they wont cuddle but if they tolerate each others it's fine. There are days when they are fine and days when they fight a bit. But I realised that when we leave for holidays, they sleep together and are way closer to each other.
In general it is very hard for two adult cats to adapt to each other as they are going to fight over territory, you can add a young kitten, the older one will be the “dominant” and you may avoid some issues. Bepo in general seem a very good cat with good character =)
I don't have a cat or dog but my sister does she has two Labradors which I babysit take care of them while my family go on trips vacation our Labs there reaction is the same as your dog and it's been trained to follow command and I've been thinking of adopting a cat just want to say thank you for all the information and advices you've been giving and seen reacting with your dog and cats. ❤
