Seeee donut, this is what people want. Listen to real car guys A.K.A your employees. This is one of or THE best Hi/Low series ever. Should've done it sooner before you lost 3 AMAZING hosts. Hope you bring them back.
On top of that, a supercharger delivers that power instantly which is why they pulled even harder in comparison to low car. While low car only injected the nitrous when they were already at speed, probably 3rd gear or something. It needed the decrease in power (increased traction) to prevent spinning as soon as NOS was dumped.
Dude, if that had spent 1k on a fuel system and 1k for fuel injectors they could have made 900whp and run 9s easily. High 10s for $75,000 is rediculous.

Great series. Well done. The best thing Donut has produced so far. You guys are awesome. Idea for a future series, do a competition for most bang for buck. Each team gets the same car and each team gets $10k - $20k to spend the best way they know how. Then race.

It’s sad that tracks are shutting down! My grandpa was huge into drag he owned a beretta ran like 8’s on the quarter was absolutely beautiful! Who would've guessed that losing three of the four main people would've given us a better Donut and two more great channels? So awesome seeing Donut learn the right lesson and go back to what the fans and the creators themselves love
Stock 5.0 with the 10spd and a 3l whipple will put out 800hp with a tune a little more with a different pulley. Ford was running a deal for about 55k for a 5.0 with the supercharger out the door and a 3 year warranty on motor and whipple
Yeah easily could’ve made more power on high car with a supercharger and then just some fueling mods like pumps and injectors but I’m assuming they didn’t want the cars too far apart in power. For $50k I’d be pissed if my car only made 150 hp more than stock, especially on a platform like that.
You can either pull a degree of timing out per 25 hp of nitrous or you can add 1.5 octane it will have the same effect on knock. I assume they used a wet kit and didn't add octane which is the big problem. I am not sure if they were tuned on the 150 shot and then went to 250 or if they were untuned as a whole.
This series was great this is what Donut was made for! The Baja Blaster series was awesome too you guys should give it another go! Great year guys felt very much like a roller coaster, so excited to see what you got next!
Donut Media’s Hi & Low Car Series was what first got me hooked as a subscriber, and I’ve been a fan ever since ! It’s frustrating to see some people drop negative comments about the usual corporate stuff. Shows that most of these people haven’t been paying attention to recent videos or very closed minded. but honestly, the recent videos have been a huge step up. The content keeps getting better, and I love how the new co-hosts bring fresh energy to the channel. It’s exciting to see the growth and creativity on display, and I can’t wait to see what’s next ! It gives the exact same feeling as when I first started watching 🍩
A few dollars more on a fuel system and tune we’d still have a low car but possibly a faster car. Still shows that you don’t have to spend 75k to have a 10 sec car.
If ya do the work yourself, a 75k budget will get you an easy 8 second car now days with availability of parts and tuning lol even if you spend 30-40k on a car, that's a plenty hefty budget
Considering the difference, probably just actual slicks and a tune with the 200 shot (so it wasn't going lean, especially on that last run), and they'd have been neck and neck each run. Dumping the nitrous at speed with the road tires on low car probably lost them a tenth or two, just by itself. For around $10k in parts, that's really not bad.
Probably the best series I’ve ever watched on RUclips and I watched the DDE twin turbo f12 series, so that says a lot! Super entertaining and super beneficial for the people watching, please do another high/low series in the future, keep it motorsport related, maybe rally or Dakar styled vehicles? Maybe even track built cars?
The 17k to go carbon fiber and rice it out was a complete waste of money. Aldo kit with the suspension and tire setup would have been within that budget and they would be in the 9s.
Yeah 😅 hell most ppl can run 9s in modern mustangs for 20k and thats a blower, fuel system, tires, and mild suspension. Idk what these guys were doing, other than blowing money.
@AllBadAZ no no i get that but they blew 75k to high tens..... most mustangs can do that with a blower + tires only. I could build you a NASTY high 8 low 9 car with 50k, car included, helmet, suit, ect.
They put money everywhere where it shouldn't have been. Should have a full interior, full weight car with a Whipple on it running 8s for less money lol

My husband brought his GR Corolla, we had an incredible time with the fans and the Donut team! Thank you for showing Tucson some love! Brought pops out to enjoy with us, next time we’ll bring our 3 year old driver in training!
I totally missed the shotgun cocking sound effect whenever Nolan pushes up his glasses. The editor is brilliant for that
Next season you should do group b rally
There likely isnt going to be a next season with the corpo suits that bought the channel. This was very clearly structured as a final farewell to donut media as a whole. Half the team is leaving or has already left.
With what host? They purged the team with their decisions, donut is going to be no more shortly😢
Or... monstertruck mud runners!
Impossible.
@@Djentlman Two of the four seasons have been under the current owners. Plus, two of the top five most-viewed videos on the channel are from HiLow (and two of the others are old, so of course they'll have a lot of views)
This was great. End of an era for donut. Only thing that would make it better would've been James showing up for one last episode.
That would've totally ruined it. James got way too big for his boots and it just became a chore to watch him overexaggerate everything.
Where did he go
@@anderino_ Has his own channel. Speeed
I don't miss him one bit
this was the best season and series as a whole i've ever seen; this kind of content is just the best
the emotions throughout it all, especially in this final episode, are what make this so special
thank you for making this, wishing to every single person in the Donut team the best
And on the most subtle way, the two legends parted ways 😢.
Thanks for the laughs Zack & Jerry.
Steph's first 10 second run..
im so proud and her smile.. priceless

@TJT153 for noticing an ear to ear smile after running 10 seconds for the first time? You really need to stop thinking with your loins and start using that lump 3 ft above it since you clearly have no heart..
this was awesome, i loved that we got to see nolan's passion, he is one of the first hosts that really made me like Donut, I will miss everyone whos leaving dearly, but it is incredible what nolan is doing by taking leadership and returning donut to its roots. thank you Nolan, I am sad I couldnt make the drive to Tucson, but I hope to be able to make it to the next event.
28:34 Cinema. Absolute cinema
As a 2017 mustang GT owner, I really appreciate this series. Thank you for making it.
end of an era, yall are legends. youre gonna do great carrying donut nolan
Automatics suck when they don't automatic, that's the most truthful nugget I've heard on Donut
Seeee donut, this is what people want. Listen to real car guys A.K.A your employees. This is one of or THE best Hi/Low series ever. Should've done it sooner before you lost 3 AMAZING hosts. Hope you bring them back.
In the spirit of good fun and healthy competition, I hope one day we get to see another hi-lo esk competition;
Big time vs. Donut
The money high car was able to spend on those tires and transmission made the difference. That car launches so hard
The tires were the biggest factor. Huge difference between proper drag slicks and fancy road tires.
@@meikgeikit’s the suspension. Low car is running radials which stock mustangs rear suspension isn’t good for. They both have proper drag tires
Dude, if that had spent 1k on a fuel system and 1k for fuel injectors they could have made 900whp and run 9s easily. High 10s for $75,000 is rediculous.
Never been a stang fan, but not till this series had a chance to grow on me... 😔 Swear down the best muscle car series on YT!! Learnt so much on this journey we embarked on with you guys, so grateful to share the experience and knowledge put together in this MASTERPIECE. No tear gas warning at the end though was brutal🤕 knowing weve seen this legacy been built from dust, and this was the big bang( still wish james was in the grand finale) miss him very veryy much on the team🥺 thank you Donut for the experience
Series will be forever cherished ❤
If you really want to learn about coyote mustangs then to to Alejandro Flores youtube page to learn what to actually do. This here was an embarrassment. I have a gen 2 with a whipple, this is not what you do.
3 words: That. Was. Amazing!!
Such an epic end to this season of hi and lo. Also, there in the end, I was not crying, YOU were crying!
17:56 I lost it when Jobe yelled “let’s see an Ollie”
At the end of the season already 😮 I have really enjoyed this edition of Hi - Low. Considering the difference in cost the cars performed amazingly well.
This is what u call content. Finally the OG Donut content which brings tears.
I really like the HiLow series, every season is better than the previous one..but boy, this season was just fire! The production, the cars, the mods, the team..the emotions. Just amazing
This was probably one of the best videos released on this channel in a while, in fact I feel like donut has really stepped up the game with the content keep at it guys
The "Piston Rods and Dad Bods" shirt was amazing. Y'all need to get with Cleetus and ride in Ruby.
Great series. Well done. The best thing Donut has produced so far. You guys are awesome.
Idea for a future series, do a competition for most bang for buck. Each team gets the same car and each team gets $10k - $20k to spend the best way they know how. Then race.
Why are my eyes watering at the end of this video? Im a 36 year old grown man damn it. LOVE DONUT even without Mr.James Horsepowahhh Pmphery y'all are still cool. Shoutout ThatDudeInBlue!
This was hands down the best car youtube series ever....period. It was an early Christmas present. Thanks Donut team.
We need hi low drift cars next season
All that’s missing is James
would have LOVED a quick James "Mo Powa Baby" cameo
I love that the OG guys are on this episode. I haven’t been watching near as much since they left
He had a hissy fit
@@gonchanli Yeahhhh. He's not really a mechanic, and never really took the time to learn how to be one, was always more charisma and flash/pizzaz for the channel. But any time he was working on cars he just seemed nervous or awkward like he didn't know wtf he was doing or had to be shown how/what to do.
@k-aw-teksleepysageuni8181 yup i also think ppl ran with it that he wasn't getting treated right. I just think he had a hissy fit.
It’s sad that tracks are shutting down! My grandpa was huge into drag he owned a beretta ran like 8’s on the quarter was absolutely beautiful! I remember sitting in the car when he would start in his mechanic shop n people would come in off the highway because they heard it while driving by! He passed a few years ago n I haven’t been to the track since I was young but this makes me so happy to see n I love seeing all the young kids out there experiencing this for their first time! Hopefully they grow up n keep the sport alive!
This was such a good send-off to this season. Nothin but ear to ear smiles from us viewers and the crowd!
Wish I coulda made it out in my 5.0 🙏
Donut went through it this year and to end it off like this was epic
This is my favorite day of the year, the event was so f*cking awesome to be there in person, loved it! And love y’all!!
One of the best hi/low seasons yet loved it guys keep it up can't wait for the next one
THIS is Donut. Best series in a LONG time. if they can keep this type of content up. Donut will be just fine.
love the hi car livery, reminds me of the "drag queen" car belongs to fiction character at NFS ProStreet Karol Monroe, its a little bit resembles the black and red colors with the in game car
that's exactly what I thought! I love the groovy misery machine too!
YES! Played the shit out of that game
I waited to watch this because I knew it was going to close a chapter that I wasn't ready to close. This one hit. Wholesome family material from a group that welcomed us to theirs. Thank you so much.
It’s been a while that I felt this good about watching a Donut video like this!!
But it sucks knowing that this was their last vid together 😢😢
Who would've guessed that losing three of the four main people would've given us a better Donut and two more great channels? So awesome seeing Donut learn the right lesson and go back to what the fans and the creators themselves love
A better donut? Uh, sure bud. The only thing that’s been worth watching has been this series, and it still had two of the missing three.
Donuts come a long way, shout out to James for being one of the major drivers to making it this big
Yeah I was saying the same thing..
Guess that was trying to keep even with low
The painful reality of 91 octane as well.
@@ThatDudeinBlue also true. I find it weird when states don’t have at least 93. Here in Ct I rarely even see 91, just 89 and 93.
@@joeykeegan6909 it's infuriating that CA, with such expensive gas, doesn't have 93
If you ever rolled nos then you know how balls it is to roll big jets untuned
Helps when it's not your money 😂
Lol, true
You can either pull a degree of timing out per 25 hp of nitrous or you can add 1.5 octane it will have the same effect on knock. I assume they used a wet kit and didn't add octane which is the big problem. I am not sure if they were tuned on the 150 shot and then went to 250 or if they were untuned as a whole.
No episode of donut has gotten me this excited 😆 feels like I’m watching the Super Bowl!! I’m jumping all over the place 😂
"Untuned car with a 250 shot of nitrous"
Absolute brainrot.
yeah this has been a travesty to watch lmao.
It was tuned on a 150 shot. But they upped the shot without a revision. Now we know who hasn’t watched past episodes
@ they were both tuned like shit. 630hp on a whipple? Dogshit
I’m 1:31 min in and know the nitrous one is loosing
That one line made it obvious
This series was great this is what Donut was made for! The Baja Blaster series was awesome too you guys should give it another go! Great year guys felt very much like a roller coaster, so excited to see what you got next!
Excited for this one!! The finale 🫡
I actually been waiting for this episode way to damn long. PLEASE FOR GOD DAKES DO ONE AGAIN NEXT YEAR!
Ngl I’m really invested now by the last run. Loving these content. Keep up the work lads. Keep it up
Never watched a car vid that made me tear up 🥹
Low car should look for a SC at the junk yards to add.
Gen 2's 6r80 GTs can go low 9s in the 1/4 with ease with full interiors boosted on e85... This is goofy.
Facts…
Jobe and Jeremiah best thing throughout this episode. 👀👀👀
They had Steph and Justin do basic training for rally in a previous video. Maybe its foreshadowing what's to come?
26:19 justins laugh was awesome
This is the best thing you guys have ever made. Kudos. I have very much enjoyed this season. Thanks to everyone involved in the creation.
Exactly
Blowing money is kinda the point of high cad
@@AlabamaDemon93blowing money is kinda the point of high car
@AllBadAZ no no i get that but they blew 75k to high tens..... most mustangs can do that with a blower + tires only. I could build you a NASTY high 8 low 9 car with 50k, car included, helmet, suit, ect.
75k in a car that runs 11’s, that’s disappointing
They put money everywhere where it shouldn't have been. Should have a full interior, full weight car with a Whipple on it running 8s for less money lol
High/Low has been one of the best series on RUclips. Truly awesome, hope there’s more to come!
I really enjoy 4 ads within 13 min
