i think Lee Dong Wook could make his own kpop agency even if isnt prolific in kpop in general but he definitely understands what the standards are in kpop & judge accordingly if trainees have the skills to at least try to make it

That is why I always admire Lee Dong Wook. He may not be an Idol singer but the fact that he has been in the industry for so long and happens to be one of the best Korean actors, he really knows what's best and what needs to be improved on. He is not judging or commenting just for the sake of it. I hope Actors like him who becomes a judge in Survival shows are like him.
