Eg. Romantic doctor has such high ratings in the 20s percentage range. On the other hand my love from the stars, descendants of the sun, legend from the blue sea, goblin and scarlet ryeo etc are not even within the top 50 in terms of ratings throughout the history of dramas in South Korea. I understand that some are popular aomg the stay home ahjussi and ahjumna, so it won't do well internationally cause most of the international fans are young people. Also guess international fans care a lot of the visuals like grand sets, flower boys, branded clothes etc.
