"Halo one was called combat evolved and halo hasn't evolved since that game"
Alex has never been more wrong about anything.
When things were first introduced:
Duel wielding: (halo 2)
Equipment: (halo 3)
Spartan Abilities: (Reach)
Sprint with out need for an ability: (Halo 4)
ADS zoom like cod: (Halo 5)
Infinite: (Grapple hook, Threat Sensor, Repulsor)
Whether people like these additions or not Halo has infact evolved
@@seankinnicutt5092 It's not an evolution. Having only two weapons at a time was evolution. Dual wielding wasn't. An evolution is something that's added and stays. Sprint no matter how controversial, is an evolution, along with sliding. They would need to keep this kind of equipment for future installments for it to be an evolution.
@@JustMisterFox Well CE revolutionized fps gaming with the 2 weapon system. Not every Halo can do such a evolutionary thing when very few games in general have an concept that changes a genre. The list I consider substantial change, which to me is evolution. However your right things need to stay once introduced and I want the new stuff to stay because I love it

@@My_Spiritual_Journey. Time travel is not confirmed, if you mean about the 3 days that passed between the defeat of the harbringer and the reunion with Esparza, then it can easily just a slip-space thing. The teleportation in the installations are basically mini slip-spaces, Offensive Bias was the one helping Chief and The Weapon in the ring but he had limited power there, so the best he could do was open that portal at the end but wasn't as perfect as other portals due to his limitations.
@@My_Spiritual_Journey. Did you even read my explanation on how could TP works?
I don’t like how They say it has a objectively bad story if that’s the case then why is everyone saying how good the story is
Because it’s a bad story.
Everyone is saying its a good story simply because it isn't bad like 5. that's it. Everyone recently has gotten so complacent with marvel movies and everything else that something simply not being shit, is considered 10/10. This is honestly the most forgettable halo game I've seen.
@@octobotimus agree with you. I just finished it about an hour ago and I never want to touch it again. The Cortana story was shit and it deserves a proper ending. At least let you see each other again and you’re the one that ends her. Something emotional. Storytelling through audio files is lazy writing. The world was also really bland. No weather systems or cool environments. All the structures looked the same underground. I mean god damn I’m thinking 343 needs to have this taken away from them.
@@mrreddington777 they had to dig cortana out of the dumb supervillain hole she was in and they did it really well. Everyone saying it's bad writing probably just don't understand what's happening.
@@KCAssassin98 or it was terrible writing. Just because you assume people didn’t understand doesn’t make it good. Maybe just for you but this story was weak af.
Finished campign a few days ago. Tbh, to 343s credit- the game played really well but needed more location diversity and a few more set pieces
The multiplayer is still a 10/10 imo gameplay wise. The xp and battlepass are getting addressed so when they get these complaints out of the way and add more content its just gunna get better
Poor writing? Did we play the same game??
And "Objectively bad" since when did they become the authority on writing?
how did nobody in chat tell him to use the scorp??
The forerunners used time to age the primordium for thousands of years in a short amount time to kill it. So a concept of time manipulation is already in halo law.
This is my favorite iteration of master chief because it is the combination of Bungie era chief and Halo 4 emotional side of chief it makes him a great character and because of Halo 5 it makes sense why chief never trusted the weapon until the end because of what Cortana became and seeing Cortana redeem herself was awesome of course she would come to her senses when chief has fallen she always cared about chief and spent most of her lifespan with him and I like the idea of playing other games to help the story because they can introduce more things in other games than shoving it all in at once like Halo 5 it wasxa great finale to chiwf and Cortana's relationship also Cortana isn't involved much because people did not like Halo 5 story so they did a bit of a course correct without forgetting what came before
I got the whole cortana arc , wanted to be the one that took her out though , imagine the emotional punch . Hated the weapon , felt like a hand holder ,at times . You couldn’t discover or find anything without her announcing it first lol .
Na, if You think about it is just so freaking forced, this entire game's story is basically a way to reboot the universe and this two characters all over again without throwing Atriox into the garbage, they did it with The Didact and the whole "Chief is not just a Machine arc" and the first Cortana death in Halo 4, they did it with Cortan is evil hole plot the Guardians, Agent Locke, Blue team, Team Osiris, Lasky is Chief's Best friend, they did it too with that shitty Spartan Ops Storyline where they Cut Halsey's arm and she say she wanted Revenge on the UNSC and when they where looking for the stupid keys that Will point the way towards Forrerruner tech..... Basically they just fast forward the entire plot with the Guardians treathening the universe now, it feels like it didnt Even matter (exept for Atriox's planeta lol)
None of what 343 has has ever writtent has amounted to anything, it's this comedy thinking of coming up with bold ideas they don't know to execute properly, not giving that much tought to it, bringing it to life in videogames then regretting everything and start from the beggining all over again.
It's so Bad.
I find it hilarious for those who say that if you were a person who never played the other games, you would be lost in this story. Weren't we all like that with the first halo game?
Since this game is considered a soft reboot to the series, it is literally the same experience. On a new halo ring with new mysteries, more secrets hidden from the forerunners, and more that we as the masterchief, weapon, and echo-216 are trying to uncover. The story is written very well, digging more into the masterchief's humanity and the relationship with the weapon and echo-216.
However, I do agree with the repetiviness of some of the missions.
Never thought it about that
Well said
Who are the Endless, why are they and the Bannished fighting me and why should I give a shit? Halo CE at least explained stuff. At the end of the game, we knew what the Flood do and what the Ring does.

I enjoyed the complete game. And I’m excited for the next expansions. It’s a great foundation and I’m looking forward to what’s next for Halo.
I’m fine with his opinion… overall gameplay was good and the story was amazing, just Joe and his buddies isn’t really invest into Halo and it shows throughout the whole stream. So I’m not gonna get mad if they give it a low score.
Everyone is in the halo honeymoon phase, we'll see in a couple of months how the game really is.
18:46
I would argue that this story is well crafted and finely tuned. Master chief completed his story arc in Halo 3. A glaring fault with 4 and 5 is that 343i tried to continue the story and make it "bigger and better." Halo infinite correctly chooses to paperclip its plot as a mostly self-contained adventure with echoes of its roots. Its nearly archival and appendix-like. They were wise to model Zelda BotW, being part of an IP that has successfully merged "release" with "reboot" and are praised for it. Infinite's character building and key plot reveals are handled well. Those who found it captivating, evocative, and meaningful just happen to resonate with this story because we prefer subtlety and slow intrigue. It's ironically simple-minded to call us "simpletons."
The story isn’t perfect and nowhere near the original trilogy, but it’s is still good and was handled the way it should be especially after halo 5 dug a big hole.
@@kaijenkins4513 I think that's a well thought out and fair take
How the hell was Joe not crying during the ending Cortana part. That's some of the saddest shit I've seen since the end of Halo 4. Can't believe he called it 4th grade material. It's the most cinematic and emotional writing/story the entire series has ever had. Better than Reach and ODST in my opinion
Man hell no Halo reach was wayyyy more emotional than that so was halo 4
@@Jumbo37279 in halo reach, all the characters died way too fast to even build up any emotional attachment to them
Haha, good joke
Reverse question: How can anyone cry at that?
I didn’t cry at all because they ruined Cortana. Never should have been a villain to begin with. Halo storytelling is dead af
Find it very surprising Joe did not like this game, I thought it was pretty damn good. Not perfect, but damn did I have fun with the campaign and multiplayer is pretty good too just needs a bit more content.
To be fair he never said he didn't like the game, he said it was 10/10 gameplay... He just said the story writing was lackluster, which a lot of people seem to disagree with him

Boss Fights aren’t supposed to be fun Joe, it’s meant to be hard, challenging etc. this is what people were calling for back in Halo 3 when we killed the monitor. People wanted a boss fight and we got one. This boss fight when I played it twice, it pissed me off a lot but with some persistence, you can beat it. Especially if you go in with the right loadout. The commando is not the best choice in the final boss fight. Lol
"Boss fights aren't meant to be fun" what a convenient excuse that just passes off poor design.
@@octobotimus I found them fun. I noticed that Joe only ever uses the grapple hook, which takes away from a lot of exchanges I had when playing against them
Boss fights are supposed to be challenging AND fun.
If I a pay $60 for a game, there shouldn't be sections of the game I have to play that aren't fun
I don't get how they aren't fun, I played on heroic and they were challenging and felt rewarding to actually beat when you did beat them. Some people just like being spoon fed I suppose.
Anyone else think Jega is like Taniks the Scarred?
Kind of. I hope he returns in the same fashion. His body is missing when you kill him.
@@FKDotFitzgerald He's cool, I just wish we got to know more about him in Infinite. To anyone without lore knowledge, Jega is just a cybernetic elite.
I'll be honest I really don't know why Alex said cheif is slow as hell , did we play the same game, also did Joe miss when one of the grunts said Atriox died
This man really did not use the grapple hook. Like why the hell are you running?
12 spires, 8 groups of spartans held as hostages, 5 halo rings, and a partridge.. I mean...pulse rifle...on a pear tree. 😁
I thought the idea was that the composer was a technology that could Convert a living being into a digital being, the ability to compose would give a civilization two important features.
1. This would make you more easily be able to instantaneously teleport as data across the galaxy and in between galaxies as light.
But could also 2. Could save you from some cataclysmic event. Say an asteroid is about to hit.. you could all get composed and wait out the impact. Additionally while digital you’re technically immortal.
To recompose into a living being from digital you just need to collect some biomass from the surrounding area and reassemble it into a body.. The flood is that process. A semi intelligent collection of generic cells that could be converted into a composed species.. except the flood didn’t work like it was designed.. and ended up being an intergalactic threat.
I think you have the general concept down. However what happened was the Precursors were being hunted down by the Forerunners because the Precursors told them they wernt worthy of holding the mantle of responsibility anymore. When the Precursors were nearly extinct they turned themself into this dust like form to wait out the Forerunner crusade. That dust over time started to mutate and attack other biomass leading to the flood. The composer was originally used to try to combat the flood preserving the mind of the infected Forerunner but didnt work. Later it was used as a weapon, like how the Didact used it on primitive Humanity to create the Promethians
I kinda agree that the story wasn't amazing.. but after Halo 5 they had a LOT of work to do. I think this is the best outcome.
They had to close out the Cortana story and also try and look ahead, too.
I think now that is out of the way they can finally move on and tell new stories.
With Joe Staten being back I think the writing is definitely going to improve.
I feel like the pilot is intentionally written to be a character that grows on us. I wasn't super into him initially but the more the story developed, the more he grew on me.
I get that Alex is exaggerating how much he hates the pilot, but given time I think he's one of the best parts of the game.
I think 343 stated this a couple years ago around the time of the “Deliver Hope” trailer.
The saves in this game are so weird, I reached the end wave of the Harbinger fight it saved so I ended the game and came back the next day. It made me restart the whole thing.
Angry Joe show hates another Xbox game while I'm not surprised I'm glad you guys at least played it.
I’m thinking the endless are going to be the banished , elites etc infected with a different virus from the flood , going to be the enemy’s for the co-op campaign . Which I’m thinking is going to be completely different to the main game . See dlc being dropped every 6 months , which they deliberately held back content , for there live service model
I like leaving the stream on while I write the script for anime reviews. Watching you guys play is relaxing
Its very deep lore and unfortunately the ending is only really amazing for people who understand it which is unfortunate because the ending can come across as disappointing if you don't understand and you really have to do your homework :/
That's called shit writing. If you have to read and engage in multiple different forms of media just to "understand" or feel any kind of emotional pay off than the writing was trash
@@cashuflakbreakdancer No shit writing was halo 5s story
ive read all the books and i wasnt happy with its ending. its not worse than 5 but i felt disappointed a little
@@memeteam8274 For me the disappointment comes from the ending of the game feeling like setup for dlc. I have no big problems with the story itself really, more that the story felt like a novels intro and now we have to wait for the rest of the novel which kinda sucks but 🤷♂️. I think It makes it worse that we waited 6-7.. years, idk, for basically dlc setup but I found what they did to be pretty cool and new which halo need. It also put to rest the shitty halo 5 story stuff very well so can't complain about that, dumpsterfire has been extinguished!
Why does Joe never uses his drop wall lol.
I played it on Legendary, I never used it.
@@halocraze9839 Considering how high damage enemies are on Legendary, the drop wall takes like two bullets and has no more cover. I decided it's not needed when I could just grapple away.
@@halocraze9839 very possible.

On controller its a paying in the ass to switch equipment
I enjoyed the game, of couse as a big halo fan I have probably played the other games at least 5 times to completion each, so is difficult for me to put infinite very high when I'm not as familiarized with it, but if I had to be completely objective, this is much better than halo 4 and 5 and in my opinion better than CE and ODST
AJ, OJ and Alex just don’t understand Halo. They don’t even know anything about the lore and they suck at fps games.
The Endless were a race that survived the firing of the Halo rings when the Forerunners went to war with the Flood. The fact that they survived the Halo rings is very likely that they are Precursors so Joe is actually correct. Also 343 opened a patent for "Halo: Endless" so that will in fact be the next DLC for Halo Infinite. Yes I'm a Halo night, yes I'm fun at parties.
I'm confused as to why Joe was so confused by that. Not paying attention mostly or not trying to.
He acts as if it was something explained in some other game when they were first mentioned here in this game, at least to my knowledge.
@@route77productions I could be wrong but I think they just played through the main missions. To know who the endless are he would have to get the Audio logs, but the lore is there and Grand Edict did confirm there on the Legendary Ending that Halo didn't kill them.
Knowing 343i, it's just gonna be some random new race they've come up with. Teleporting around..
@@i5m5bob The only "Official" new race that was ever created by 343 is the Gaurdians. Prometheans are Humans indoctrinated by the Didact (Both species which are already established as part of Halo Lore) if that's what you're referring to. And Forerunner are EONs more advanced than we are EONs, so I personally don't see it as an impossibility for them to do that let alone Precursors. Also 343 has played it relatively safe (with the exception of Halo 5) as far as Halo lore. Don't forget Halo CE started out with Elites, Jackals, Grunts, Hunters, the Flood, and the Sentinals and that was it. So Bungie actually was the one that kept adding new races throughout the Halos. Either way I like the idea of more races just so long as it's kept interesting.
they are not precusros , which has already been stated, the precursors die to the Halo effect, which is made to destroy neural physics ( which all of precursors are and use) .
The game as it stands now is not above or bellow an 8/10 for me. You can drop the rating due to microtransactions and lack of gamemodes though to a 7.5 .Gameplay is one of the best in the series .

Nah, Joe just sucks. I beat the game on Heroic and it’s probably one of the easiest Halo games to date.
Beat it on legendary and my god watching him play is kinda sad
He made a lot of rookie mistakes
While I enjoy this campaign alot, I think Alex makes a fair point about expecting better as far as writing goes. Halo deserves better than what was given, but that doesn't mean it was the worst story. I actually did like The Weapon and there were moments in the story that I liked, but overall it was very lackluster. Not horrible, but not excellent. The Gameplay was a 10/10 in my opinion and I'm glad 343 delayed the game because it released in a pretty solid state unlike most games made today. I would give this a 7/10 because a 6/10 seems too low and I had alot of fun with it.
I can tell Halo isn't a game for Joe. That said, I still look forward to the review. Definitely a fun game. I do hope you give it a good review though cause I think this game deserves it.
Can't wait to watch this part 3 always entertaining. Oj the farmer lmao that was hilarious. Yo Alex I like your look on gaming. Great content at the end
I've seen a few of AJ's videos on this channel now and is it just me or is it weird how Alex/OJ rarely play the game. I like OJ and Alex but they just sit there and commentate the whole time. I wish AJ would pass the controller or just not have them there. They look bored as hell because they arnt playing, and probably affecting their view on the game.

@@Nile-oz2go oh okay I just started to watch his stream videos. I get its AJs show and he decides the score, but I wish on every death they pass the controller in a rotation or something similar. I think it will keep the 3 of them more invested and make for better content
@@seankinnicutt5092 yea I don't think it's a good way to do reviews. There's strength in validity with 3 different opinions but not when one guy is playing and the other 2 are just watching. My personal opinion but I really enjoyed the campaign. Way better than Halo 5. Sandbox was fun and it hit some classic beats halo needs.
Writing wasn't TERRIBLE, however it was cringey at times and it left off wit the staple Halo classic cliffhanger ending, which always sucks
Yes very predictable level design. Super fun sections nontheless the training programs.
There’s something about this game that just made it feel like I was playing destiny 2 (in terms of story). Poor writing, vague dialogue that doesn’t explain much about who or what the big threat is, uninteresting level design of 0/3 beam towers or 0/3 power seeds, half the game has been torn and removed that will probably be repackaged into “DLC”, even right down to the shitty uninteresting main antagonist that felt like Gaul 2.0. Boring uninteresting 1 dimensional character of a grizzled war veteran. I was half expecting the “we’re not so different you and I” speech from escharum. Since when did destiny become the gold standard of gaming? Overall disappointed.

I'm surprised you don't like the writing or the story when 90% of people I've seen love the story and writing or three characters so the fact you don't like it surprises me but everyone has their opinion and I respect it but I think it's great and halos gameplay has to stay slower than other shooters because that's what makes it Halo otherwise it would be a Halo 5 situation but I'm glad your opinion is very unique compared to others

Yes, you can agree with someone on one thing and disagree with the other. Radical concept, I know.
Gameplay and graphics was 10/10 the rest is average
Unimaginative repetitive environments, boring musics (just play the first half of CE, 2 or 3, and you have more interesting themes than in this game ; same things for the environments).
Multiple yet generic weapons, oddly balanced (seriously, you are gonna make the Needle to require almost an entire mag' just to get one explosion, but you're gonna make the Sisruptor a 4 shots discharge ; and so many 3 shot bursts weapons !), not enough vehicular sections with epic open area fights (so many people being like "WOW" about that vehicular section to get to the House of Reckoning, when it is the ONLY similar section in the game ; remember Halo 3 with such sections in levels 3, 4, 6 and 7 !).
Odd lighting and facial animations, repetitive cinematics with looong dialogues repeating the entire saga over and over again, exploiting yet again Chief-Cortana's relationship when she is supposed to have died 2 games ago. Dropped plot from Halo 5 (maybe a good decision for once, but seriously, people who did not follow the extended universe got "Who???" when meeting Blue Team in 5, and now they are all gone???).
I could go on and on.
But really, how can so many people, players and testers, praise this game so much ? You have the right to like this, I will admit, but this is a BAD game, with some good elements in it, nothing else.
Hes ganna give it a 6 or 7 in my prediction from him

The xbots army justifying a 6 year development game that some how manage to launch incomplete. Halo and Gears are done as franchises, Xbox need to move on and establish new franchises
I thought it was great
This game was a 4 out of 10 for me. Just finished it. Really disappointing
The game is a 6/10 sad that this is what they gave us for a campaign.🤦🏽♂️
Also I feel the same way AJ and crew by the end of the campaign.
I’m at a 4 or 5. Wayyyyyyy too repetitive and honestly the Cortana story was just horribly done.
Easily a 9/10.
I mean I suppose its up to personally opinion cause I think it’s easily a 9
This looks really boring.
Because you have boring ass players who don't know how to play the game playing it.
I'm someone who enjoyed Halo 4 but it was all over the place in the Campaign, Halo 5 was mediocre and was meh.
This was the most fun I've had in Halo in several years. All three of them kept complaining about almost everything bad writing, wanted Cortana back despite being dead, kept complaining about the Pilot. It's fine if they didn't like it but it almost seems like they didn't try to enjoy themselves.
AJS got income from dev support. They spent so much time for BF big pile of shit, even the game is crap, but Halo was put aside for that bugfest. Others did Halo Inf. review earlier. This is soo lame and they cry... Pff interesting that most of the other tester did a better job on this game. Like Guardians of the Galaxy review : "The graphic is bad." Sure! Did you see the game? 😀🤣🤓 It is all about money.
@@route77productions Halo 5 was not mediocre. It was straight up trash. Campaign at least.
MP was fun but DID not feel like Halo at all. The Halo fandom tends to agree Halo 5 would of been better received it was a new IP.
To see last time Cortana, Chief have brocken heart forever. This sad and hurt, to see lost very best friend and companion.
cant wait for review... feel like halo was whatever
It's fine if they didn't like it, it's all subjective but I know this is going to maybe be the first time where Joe will be in the minority of the spectrum when giving his review on the campaign. He better not give it the same score as the Halo 5 campaign or I'll go nuclear.
Edit: He gave Halo 5 a 6 so I'm expecting an 8 here. Halo 5 was not new player friendly which Joe said about Infinite but it wasn't, Halo 5 had too much characters not given proper development, mediocre, bad writing. Some baffling voice acting,
@@AstaIsAMonster It's 60$
He’s admitted how he was in the minority on his opinions for Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege.
I'd say 7/10 from Joe. The story is better, but the game launched the same way 5 did. Lacking on content. No forge at launch, like 5. No co-op, like 5. Lacking on gamemodes, like 5. Joe may like the gameplay more though.
@@JustMisterFox Now that's a fair and valid point and I totally agree with. Maybe because I don't play co-op campaign I forget about people who do but a 7 it's perhaps the perfect score, an 8 for me since I don't touch Co-OP or forge.
@@route77productions and 1$ if you use your money wisely and play it on game pass
Joe's entitled to his opinion but it's really obvious he hasn't been invested in halo for a long time and it shows in his attitude and gameplay. Glad his opinion is in the minority.
My thoughts exactly. He jumped ship following ODST, a game that's loved by most Halo fans. If you've been out of the fandom for 12 years, not much is going to bring you back into it. I just wish he took more of that into account or took the time to appreciate the backstory before making these assessments of Halo Infinite.
@@dennisgorospe6744 your opinion bro. Most of the halo community disagrees with you though.
@@dennisgorospe6744 Didn’t know we were talking about Halo 5.
@@dennisgorospe6744 The story is not amazing but it isn't underwhelming. The ending is quite nice taking into account it had to unfuck Halo 5 and even sets Precursor and Offensive Bias storylines. If you only play Halo for the big green Halo guy then yeah, it sucked, but then you shouldn't care for the story altogether.
@@makoUnderground I think what puts this campaign over the top for me is that I feel that it succeeds in unfucking Halo 5 and I'm really excited for the future of Halo stories again.
"Master chief is so slow" idk, I think its just how you're playing the game.
Yeah joe is way too static playing halo, he doesnt understand the utility of the grapple hook and other abilities
Agreed, this has possibly the best movement in any halo game.
To explain the ending basically the forerunners fired the halos and the forerunners who did survive were known as the criterion they eventually after firing the halos saw a race that survived the firing and the monitor moved the halo to the endless planet to have a “meeting with the endless” where they then voted on capturing them and stored them in those cylixes in the silent auditorium and hid the key. The forerunners were scared that because they could survive the array they would eventually take the mantle do to there ability to keep growing even after the firing of the halos and as a theory I’m sure they wanted to test if the flood would effect them because if they can survive the array I’m sure the flood would like that trait

“Excellent.”
Joe is the vast minority in that he didn't really like the campaign, didn't like the Pilot.
I love Joe but his constant, "I want Cortana Back." Throughout really annoyed me.
I agree 100%, despite that being a divisive take. I didn’t like the Pilot at all and wish they would have done something else for the story instead of that.
@@route77productions Reminds me when Dr DisRespect just watches Halo Infinite and constantly talks about how great a battle royal would be
@@mark_thurwanger Just curious, what did you dislike about the pilot? To me he felt like a really good character and felt more grounded and more human.

Ngl I would go insane if I had to sit and watch somebody play a game for 5 hours
Though the mission themselves weren’t very memorable compared to older games (besides the house of Reckoning ) I enjoyed it a lot and can’t wait to see where they take the game next. They trademark halo: the endless (99% it’s dlc. They said they’re going to build off of infinite rather than make new games)
House of Reckoning*, not so memorable it seems.
@@xxminecrafthype443 yup a much used word
House of reckoning is probably the most HALO mission in Infinite and joe really skipped through it playing as Tarzan....
I don’t get how this was “bad writing”. Sure it’s not gonna be up there with halo 2 or 3 but it still flows through pretty good. I do think the open world could have had more but the story missions themselves fit just fine. Even with the amount that was said to be cut the story was able to fit perfectly by not only finding a way to not “retcon” but quickly end something that the fan base disliked but still keeping it grounded.
It’s bad writing honestly. It just doesn’t work. The game feels like 1 level. It’s super fun but the story feels like it’s very incomplete.
@@mannersmatter_ it does work though.
@@jonathanrangel7036 it works as 1 level, but as a campaign, no. It’s unfinished and the rest will be packaged as DLC

@@spacejunk2186 honestly yeah. People are just mad and confused because Joe sucks at playing halo so much that they think his criticism is aimed at the game because of that. But story wise, BORING. I’ve been playing Halo since Halo 1 on PC (gearbox online) and Halo 2 on Xbox Live and it’s just wack. Plus, where are the game modes? Sorely disappointed but at least it’s way more fun than Halo 4 and Halo 5.
I can't wait for Halo super infinite when we get to go to the silent cafeteria
seems like joe and alex just look for any reason to complain and sigh about games anymore. kinda ruins the mood. maybe they're just tired of doing what it is they do now.
I cried at the end cause it made my childhood memories come back I loved this game I need more of it but I can't wait to replay it on the series x
We've forgotten how to be happy with great games. Pretend you're 13, its 2003, smart phones don't exist, RUclips doesn't exist, Facebook isn't open to the public yet, Return of the King just released, Joe rogan is still hosting Fear Factor...then Halo infinite comes out. We'd lose our minds.
The issue is it isn't 2003, a 10/10 game in 2003 wouldn't be a 10/10 in 2021

I’m eagerly awaiting the review
There were good moments in the game but the game overall felt underwhelming. They're going in the right way compared to 343 previous halo games but there is more work to be done.
I am so glad I am not the only one who disliked "Weapon", Echo 216 and the ex-wife whispers lmao
Once there is a review for this, AJ should definitely play the guy hugging Master Chief.
I feel I should point this out about "good" cortana and "bad" cortana as at first I too wasn't a big fan of the idea, but then I remembered in halo lore during the forerunner/flood war the forerunners done the exact same thing with Mendicant Bias and Offensive Bias in the terms of "the original was corrupted and turned bad so a replacement copy was created to combat the original" which is exactly what they have done here. Knowing this, I now think it's pretty cool.
The open world was a cool idea, and easily my favorite part of the game. The missions themselves...are lazy and most of them feel like padding for the game's short story. None of them are memorable nor very enjoyable imo.
Bad writing according to you obviously. i thought story was good, not the best, but def not as bad you all make it out to be.
im always amazed at oj and alex for not back seat gaming joe more lol
