Personally i think mario kart tour will be dubbed "mario kart 9" in order for nintendo to move on to mario kart 10, i really dont see a reason for nintendo to make a new mario kart game for the switch unless they go big with it, so they will call mario cart tour "9" in order to make the next game sound cooler, Mario Kart X, i predict they will have a similar approach to Smash Ultimate, with the whole "everyone is here!" branding, mario kart 8 deluxe has over half the tracks, and most characters, so i think mario kart x will bring every single character and every single track together, in one pretty package, just like smash ultimate
Because why not just port the game over to a newer console right? And make more money off of the same game that’s been out since 2015 right? Honestly smart but lazy.
The possibility of Nintendo Kart is basically a Sega All-Star racing rip-off. Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed from 2012 is my favorite game in terms of that style of racing. Unless there is a Super Mario Maker element or any other unique element to the game, it would not be as good as the Sega racing game.
Mario Kart is a brand name, there is no way Nintendo is going to abandon a huge seller on the switch. 52 million. Mario Kart will be back for a new system only, for the Switch? Booster Course Pass is the best you will get. Calling it Nintendo Kart when way more people recognize Mario Kart than Nintendo Kart. I think some fans are really grasping at straws, probably because there is nothing left to grasp after the Booster Course Pass is finished.
