People need to start accepting this is an legitimate impressive skill I swear painters don’t get anywhere near the amount of respect they deserve and this may be an odd thing to say but I think it’s important.
There is no such thing as a menial job
edit: the whole point of my comment is to say that all trades and skills should be appreciated and if it’s what you’re doing five out of seven days of the week (or more in lotsa cases) you deserve respect and recognition. There is no such thing as a menial job.
And of course there are people who are better than who is painting here, just as there are things this person can do or knows way better than any of the rest of us. To infer anything an individual is doing is worthless even though it is constructive, and in no ways harmful is like science fiction for me to wrap my head around

I have a 3100 sq ft home and painted every bit of the interior except for 2 bedrooms and a small room off the hallway. I used a roller & got it done pretty quickly without taping anything. I also painted 15 interior doors, 2 coats each. It was exhausting work but I saved a lot of money doing it myself.

I’m a fairly skilled painter and I work with 2 other insanely great painters but we usually don’t really paint this fast since we’re a General contracting company… aside from painting, we also do other things around the clients home to finish at an appropriate time estimate
If we just have to do small touch ups to a home like this then we definitely go fast… but usually we’re in a home with a lot of power tools that we’re using alongside painting the walls and cabinet installation/making the cabinets lol
I sometimes wish we could go as fast as this guy tho but if we solely paint for a day or so we would be seriously far behind for other things
I’m also fairly curious as to what roller he’s using… a lot of the cheap rollers are economical but either shed or leave lint

At first it looks good but when it's dry it will defo need another coat. The brand of paint helps aswell. Must be one of the high end brand.
