Why should the onus be on the girls to refuse to compete? You're asking these girls to give up their dreams, what they have worked so hard for. The adults around them should be standing up to this.
A lot of these girls start training at a very young age. Imagine putting ten or fifteen years into building yourself up, and then losing a state championship or NCAA championship under these circumstances. It’s ridiculous.

If you notice , it is only failed male athletes who want to compete against women . A good example would be that college swimmer Thomas . he was ranked worse than 460th nationally in men's swimming , but he ranked at the top of women's swimming .

I understand where you are coming from but that video where they did not compete wasn't as big of a meet. This meet in the video is the state championships. If you make it all that way just to not compete it kinda feels like you are scamming yourself and your team mates as to get to the finals you had to run prelims where you could score points for your team if you qualify
