yep it helped me to disable it by selecting the "enable" option which is opposite of what it should read. Very strange why they put it this way and there is nothing in the add/remove programs list to uninstall it because it's a windows program file and not something that we downloaded so for those of you looking there I didn't find anything in that list. Are they doing this with the cell phones also? Now we have to watch what all these updates are doing and as far as windows there is no way that I can find to permanently disable the update feature only can stall it for a few weeks but it will turn on again if you don't pay attention. Also the home modem settings update and if you turn off your "5G" it may go back on so keep checking on those settings.
Unless there is something wrong with Windows 11 which other people like myself or not finding this edit policy group now there are some videos on here that are telling people to download a program which I am not going to do be careful what you download
Why the hell are you telling people this There is absolutely NO reason for it. And you should not be telling people to play in the Registry Crazy telling people to remove good, useful, helpful stuff❗❗👎👎

Not only did I learn how to disable Copilot, I also looked into how to turn my 'Start' red. Thanks.
Ironically I used copilot to find out how to turn it off.
Thats NOT removing it, thats just "turning it off"
That’s not removing it. That’s disabling it

My computer I'll do what I want to do. I'm not making anybody do anything. If you like it keep it. If you don't get rid of it. Period.

I also will remove it. It is my computer and I decide what I want to install or not, no Microsoft nor nobody else
@@cessnapilot5905 There is no need or reason to remove. If someone wants to hate it (god knows why) then just shut it off and don't use it.
