Flake doing the 'Skeleton Dance", as i call it, is one of Rammsteins best live moments ever. He literally looks like an animated cartoon character, its so great.
I think Chris has the cutest smile while playing his drum solo, hands down :D and Flake is just Flake , you have to love him.

Watching you guys enjoy Flake's dance and Christoph's solo was great. Love seeing people who enjoy Rammstein. For me it's been amazing watching them evolve and grow into such an unstoppable force these past 22 years. Rock on.

Flake has always done his dance during this song! I always love the back and forth with him and Till, He is the White flesh and Till is the dark blood. Some of the older versions of this song are fun too.
Spielhur is one of the most underrated Rammstein's songs. It's so melodic and amazing. I'm sure your gonna enjoy it
The drum "solo" also exists in the studio version, just a little shorter, but the "club dance" part doesn't. ; )

Loved your reaction to Flake "dance" the victim in Weisses Fleisch, and yes; Christian Schneider is a sharp drummer, he never makes a mistake. According to Till, "Doom" is behind that set training 8- 10 hours a day. Very German, very professional.

Good to know that some people still like Rammstein. Watch their Live aus Berlin 1998 concert or some songs from it, it was the best, and it was original, their other concerts are just variations and parodies if LaB 1998 concert except for when they added some new great stuff in 2001 when the Mutter album came out. So 1998-2001 were golden years of Rammstein. Please watch concerts from those times.

This band once become in your heart, never gone. In my life since 2017 when I listened them first time to the end of my life.

I'm hearing new (to me at least) Rammstein songs with these videos, so thanks for that. I first heard Du Hast about four years ago, and I'm slowly going through the band's discography. I can't understand a word of German. but the music and theatrical elements of the shows makes me love them :)

I remember seeing them around 1999 and this was the opening song, at least I think it was there was a lot of alcohol involved in those days. This was were Till would come out on stage in his bright shiny fire proof coat and he would sing the first song literally on fire. The good old days lol
Check out Weisses Fliesch at the Big Day Out festival. The band is a lot younger (before Flake and Paul got some meat on their bones) and Til comes out with his feet on fire

"Reise, Reise" actually doesn't translate to "Arise, Arise"... Reise means travel, trip, journey, tour or voyage in English, it has nothing to do with "arise". And the context of the song doesn't lead to this "interpretation" either. Greetings from Germany.

@@OLDACCT7 Ok, I wasn't aware of the "seaman arise" - interpretation of the song, that you're propably refering to. "Reise, Reise" was indeed used in (very) old-German as a wake up / alarm call for sailors, which would indeed translate to "Arise, Arise". It's not impossible, that Rammstein actually meant it that way, but this interpretation of the song has an critical error with the following part: "Seemann Reise", which is wrongly translated to "seaman arise" -> to use "arise" instead of "journey" in this combination of words is actually impossible in German, because only the double call of "Reise, Reise" was once used by German sailers in the past, the single word "Reise" has no connection to "Arise", even for German sailors hundereds of years ago. But this interpretation could still be fitting, if you change this translation to "sailor hunt/raid/plunder", because "Reise" used in this old-German context, could mean "go hunting, enter a battle, go plunder, go raiding" and things like that. Would indeed fit the remaining lyrics pretty well. Unfortunately, there is no official interpretation for this song available. But thanks for (indirectly) pointing this out for me!

This song is from their debut album (Herzeleid, 1995) all their older songs from their first two albums have that kind of sound. The studio version also includes the solos and Flake always does his little dance during this song live. :D

Great reaction. Fun fact is, that back when they started, their music style was called tanz metal- dance metal. That was because of the dance drum beats, as you really can hear in this song.

ambiguous lyrics and you have to listen carefully to what they say in

Yes, but that's exactly the secret of Rammstein's success, if you put the spectacular stage show aside. They sing about human abysses, topics that are not usually talked about and they denounce. They often put their finger in the wound (German saying) and are therefore very controversial in Germany
