In a 2011 interview with german Rolling Stone magazine Till and Flake told the story of a concert at a festival in Toronto. The people in the audience carried Flake all the way to the back, where he was kind of 'dumped' over the fence of the festival area. He hurt his knee in the fall and then had to walk all the way around the fencing to the stage entrance, where luckily someone recognised him by his clothes and let him back in.
They sometimes play a song called Seemann (Sailor) where Flake is out in the crowd with his boat for the entire song. And regarding cool mics; both guitarists have mics that only show up when they have to sing and disappear again afterwards as to not ruin the view. Paul (on the left of the stage) has one that he puts his foot on so it swivels up, you can see it at 3:53 Richard (on the right of the stage) usually has a mic that comes up straight out of the stage.
In the 2019 tour, the entire band (other than Til) "crowd sailed" from the small stage back to the main stage after performing a piano version of Engel
I've been fortunate to able to take part in ensuring Flakes boat doesn't capsize when they came to Chicago some years ago. Every concert they put on is an unforgettable one.

BUT there´s one thing that is also quite important for Rammstein´s success: their dark, disturbing but also clever lyrics. Would be great to see your reaction on that as well. It would also be nice if they react to the official video of this song, it's very funny, they play with the idea that many have that everyone in the band is envious of the vocalist, but in reality the lyrics of the song speak about the unity they have as a team 👌🏼💕

As with Trevis, I immediately asked myself what it must feel like to have 85,000 spectators answering your questions without exception. Must be better than some drugs 👍🤘

When Rammstein first started they did body surfing but one of them got dropped so they worked out Boat but the crowed used keep him in the boat going away all the time. There are early versions of this just like when mistakes were made by equipment fails using flame throwers catching each other on fire and even The team letting off the fireworks too soon hurting the singer. So he took full control over everything in the end. Pyrotechnics and the flame throwers which made it far safer.

In their official videos they often 'kill' Till, the singer. In the official video for 'Haifisch' the remaining band arrives at Till's burial and the memorial. You can see the different versions how Till was supposed to have been killed in the other videos. Each member of the band had their own agenda how and why to kill Till, so they all watch each other suspiciously. Until a fight breaks out among the band members. Which somehow resolves the issue... but I am not going to spoiler the resolution. Watch it, it's fun.

It is a special situation when you do Ramstein. Because as nativ German I have Ramstein "in Fleisch und Blut". And wehn I watch you doing this songs I know how hart it is, not to understand the lyrics :D Because I am just good in English since 5 years or so. Befor I never listened to the lycrics at all.

I have already seen a disabled person in a wheelchair crowdsurfing, as wel as a drummer with his drumkit ;-) In their most recent tour last year Rammstein did an acoustic set on a small stage in the back of the arena. When the acoustic set was finished they used a multitude of the same boats to cross over back to the main stage!
Yes Flake has fallen out of the boat and at one show was almost stripped by the fans ripping at his clothes for a while he refused to do it and Oliver the Bass player took over sailing duties.
I saw slipknot in London years ago and the guy surged on a boat, was tipped out and his camera taken, they asked for it back at the end of the show lol

"I WAS THERE!" somewhere in the crowd .. it was raining cats n dogs... the lightning striked multiple times into the festival area.. to be fair.. there a song called "kapitän" which means captain of the band "jennifer rostock" one of the best german rockbands lyricwise, and during that song they let someone surf the crowd on an air filled tyre used for snowtubing. maybe you are willing to react to this band someday?.. people love or hate jennifer, but probably cause shes a proud public supporter for PETA and LGBTQ and whatnot. ♥
People don't dislike Jennifer Rostok because of her beliefs but rather because of her constant changes in styles. Some of her songs are rap, other are pop, some sound like rock while others sound like techno pop. So buying her albums can be hit or miss because you'll like 2 or 3 songs and be completely bored by the other 6. Most of the people I have talked to like a couple of her songs and completely skip the rest.

For a few years they switched to the bassist being in the boat to make it harder to capsize due to him being a bit larger than Flake
